Now I have no idea why this is called Theatre of The Republic, when on the front of the building it says Main Street Theatre, but anyways. It is a small theater that does different shows like this one, broadway shows, and more! They do have both a balcony and a lower level. For this show, we were on the lower level, with great views of the stage. Now, onto reviewing this show: First and foremost, a lot of slow christmas songs, and back to back too. If it was me, I would do a slow song, then do a fast paced song. For their song selection: they did "Zis That You Santa Claus", from Frosty The Snowman, to Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas, some Misses Clauses song which I never heard before, Do You Hear What I hear, and many songs that are either old or I haven't heard before. Oh, about the Misses Clauses Songs- What about the Misses Claus song from A year Without A Santa Claus, where she tries on the Santa Suit? A favorite was definitely Zis That You Santa Claus, Frosty The Snowman, Seasons of Love, and Favorite Time Of The Year. They did have some song about Christmas trees, but Make a point about real christmas trees with songs like " Christmas Tree Farm" by Taylor Swift, where she reminses about her family getting a live christmas tree from her hometown. Also, a few more modern songs added would be cool. Oh, and one other feedback- for instance I have heard songs like Winter Wonderland be sung as a duet, and I think that would be cool. They did have one duet song that i didn't know though.Oh, and well- i'm not super religious so I personally didn't really like the christian songs chosen- and do have a suggestion- "Joy To The World (A Christmas Prayer)" by Nicholas Jonas, which is a Christian song about hope and for all people who suffered harm, and it's a prayer to make them better. If you can do this song It would be amazing! However overall it was a good show. Choosing songs can be tough during Christmas time because there is many songs to choose from- Modern to Oldies, to new classics! And If young people attend the show, they can learn the Older songs too! I personally think though that this show may be more for older adults, but again maybe it's also that I didn't know much of the songs that were sung. But, Would definitely be back for another show, and maybe an audition eventually! (I Love to Sing!)

In the days leading up to the show, a member of my household became ill. I understand the tickets are listed as "no refunds or exchanges," but I still reached out to explain the situation. While the staff was polite, they refused to offer any accommodation. I wasn't asking for a refund, only the option to attend on a different night. Refusing to show any flexibility or compassion when someone is sick, while still keeping the full payment, reflects poorly on the business. This would be a simple policy adjustment, but they choose not to make it. I won't be spending my money here again due to their inflexibility.

I have been to other Dinner and Show's. But this one was my favorite over all the other ones I…read morehave seen. The acrobatics they did were really good. The seals and dogs portions were cute as well. The food was actually pretty good. But I do prefer the ability of using eating utensils instead of my bare hands! . But they do give you a nice wet heated towel at the end to clean up with. I am a pretty good guy when it comes to acting foolish. My son is an Eagle Scout and I was an Adult Scout Leader for almost 20 years. So I am used to performing for children. There was a small girl, about 3 years old, sitting next to me in her mother's lap. Every time I would wave my flag and cheer she would stare at me. So I started talking to her in my best "grand father voice." Got her to smile and start waving her hand in the air when everyone else was cheering. Her momma smiled at me for making her little girl happy. Funny how that was one of my favorite moments of the show.

So after carrying her across a couple football field lengths of parking lots the people at the door were extremely rude and told us we could not come in with her seat. After paying the amount we did for a KIDS show we were turned away with no refund and were told we had to pay for a dinner for a 5 month old that cannot even eat that food. I will never come back to this overpriced dinner show again, save your money and do something else with your kids. If you have kids that are young don't even waste your time.

We were pleasantly greeted and seated immediately. Our Server was just as welcoming and she took our order. She was knowledgeable of the menu and made some recommendations. Our food came out hot and delicious. We enjoyed looking at the decor, the artwork was amazing from the outside to the inside. A real vibe. We had to make a stop at their store where my Husband got a cap and I got a t-shirt. The next time we visit, it is a must for the Gospel brunch. We had an enjoyable and pleasant meal together.

Some of the machines are claw machines and you don't always get the prize. You can get a lot of tickets by playing the games and get cool prizes. There are two levels in this arcade- Downstairs includes: skill and luck based games (claw machines, skee ball, racing, basketball, ring toss, etc), the restaurant, rest rooms, and prize redemption center. Upstairs has the classic 80s arcade games that DO NOT give you any tickets for prizes. You can't play any arcade games without an arcade card. Most games cost between 2-8 credits. There are three machines near the center of the arcade outside the prize redemption center where you can purchase a card. We like to purchase one card per person so everyone can choose their own games and prizes. You can reload the cards as needed. The more money you add at one time yields more play credits. You can also check your remaining card balance on these machine. There is a seperate machine to reveal your ticket balance before heading into the prize redemption center. They have the items organized by value so you can focus your attention to the items that are only within your point limit. They have plenty of candy and little fidget items to ensure you redeem every point earned. They also have more expensive items like fake jewelry, dolls, and stuffed animals. The staff is extremely helpful but the arcade can get very busy during peak season. Visiting in the mid-morning or mid-afternoon tends to have fewer people. Parking can be difficult near the pier but there is a paid lot behind the arcade and free street parking out front.

We were able to find welcoming parking on someone's property who was offering $10 spaces. There were quite a few places like this closer to the entrance and very nice home owners who were using this opportunity for visitors which seems to be a "win/win". $10 per person to get in the venue. We walked the entire area within less than an hour. We didn't purchase anything, but did see some interesting things. Of course there are blue crabs there (?), not like we expected and not at every booth --- but unfortunately- just a few carnival type vendors/food with some seafood dishes that may or may not have crab options. Had expected it to be more about those delicious BLUE CRABS with ALL the advertising & marketing. It is a small town, so I'll give them that. However, it's literally just like a farmers market with same type of stuff. The Little River Shrimp Festival is much larger than I anticipated. There is "pay to park" lots up…read moreand down the street's leading up to the festival many of which are on people's yards. It came st us about $10.00 for the day and some of the lots will shuttle you the several blocks down the road on golf carts. We found out later, there is also a bus shuttle available. The festival itself gets incredibly crowded but it really wasn't an issue. There are vendors everywhere selling everything from craft items to gutter systems. Actually, the one item I did buy was from a Tastefully Simple rep who had a booth set up. Oh, and there was a Puppy Kissing booth set up by the local shelter. As for the shrimp, we ended up in a bar/restaurant called Daddio's and got some decent shrimp but nothing special. It wasn't until we walked to the far side of the festival did we see food trailers with all sorts of delicious looking seafood. This festival is definitely worth a visit once a year.
