Saw both elderly people and people my age who were dancing and singing all the Taylor Swift songs! Loved the band and loved the show, as I was singing along, after every word. There were parts where I couldn't understand, but that happens sometimes, even with other artists. Amber and her band Feeling 22 did amazing! Would totally be back if there was another show with her! Keep more like this coming- i'd love a boy band tribute show, Taylor Swift, 90's show, and Jonas Brothers, and more!

We particularly love the jazz events, as we are passionate about all forms of art and music. Everyone at the gallery has made us feel very welcome as we settle into the area. While we haven't yet been able to take full advantage of everything the Gallery offers, we look forward to attending workshops, classes, and special events, once we are more 'planted'. It was founded by the late American singer-songwriter, actress, and businesswoman Dolly Parton. It is managed by World Choice Investments LLC, a joint venture between The Dollywood Company, Fred Hardwick, and Herschend. From 1992 - 2018, the dinner theater in Myrtle Beach was home to Dolly Parton's "Dixie Stampede". In late 2018, Parton announced that the theater would be closed for refurbishment and converted into a family-friendly pirate-themed dinner show. The brand new show was designed to feature Blackbeard the pirate, a 15-foot deep 750,000 gallon pool, theatrical lighting, and rigging for acrobats. It opened to much acclaim and even features Christmas elements throughout the November and December show season. A second location opened in Pigeon Forge (TN) in May 2019, and a third opened in Panama City Beach (FL) in June 2025. My family and I recently dined at the Pirates Voyage in Myrtle Beach while we were staying in town for a few days. We had previously visited a few years back and loved it. It's essentially the pirate equivalent of "Medieval Times", but BETER! We arrived early for the pre-show, which featured a pirate sing-along with some briny buccaneers, acrobatics, and a photo opportunity with a mermaid. I enjoyed a non-alcoholic piña colada in a souvenir skull mug. For the main show, spectators are seated in areas where they must root for the sapphire pirates or the crimson pirates. We were seated in the latter section. The show features sword-fighting swashbucklers, mermaids, ghost pirates, music, special effects, acrobatics, and even live animals such as sea lions, dogs, and macaws. For Course 1, attendees are served "Voyager Creamy Vegetable Soup w/ a Buccaneer Biscuit". Course 2 features "Half O'Roasted Chicken, Swashbucklin' Sugar-Cured Ham, Cob O'Butter Corn & Matey's Mac 'N' Cheese". Dessert is a choice of "Chocolate Coconut Cake" or "Apple O' Me Eye Pie". There's nothing particularly special about the food, but I think it's safe to say that most people come for the exciting show and not for the food. Pirates Voyage is plenty of swashbuckling fun for the whole family and we highly recommend it to anyone visiting Myrtle Beach!

So after carrying her across a couple football field lengths of parking lots the people at the door were extremely rude and told us we could not come in with her seat. After paying the amount we did for a KIDS show we were turned away with no refund and were told we had to pay for a dinner for a 5 month old that cannot even eat that food. I will never come back to this overpriced dinner show again, save your money and do something else with your kids. If you have kids that are young don't even waste your time.

The band was excellent and very engaging. They played for 3 hours! My only complaint is that they only offer beer and wine and the wine is Barefoot Chardonnay or Zinfandel. Please offer better wine choices (Pinot Grigio, Rose) or add vodka as an option. We had a great time and will go back.

Four of us (all adults) were vacationing in N Myrtle…read moreBeach, SC, and were considering going to one of the many evening shows that are offered in this tourist town. It was challenging to agree upon a show as two of our guests were international visitors, and were less familiar with the English-language lyrics of popular American songs. We decided upon the ICONIC show, because it was described as a family-friendly musical variety show. My husband and I twisted arms a bit as we were familiar with the theatre having visited there years ago to see a different show ("One"). The ICONIC show was high energy, featuring a cast of highly talented musicians, dancers, a comedian, and even aerialists. The show featured country hits, classic rock anthems, Broadway favorites, and pop ballads, all professionally choreographed and with frequent costume changes. Stunt comedian Max Winfrey, who was featured on America's Got Talent, provided comedic relief between sets. The show was about two hours of non-stop entertainment. All four of us, even our international guests, enjoyed it. The Alabama Theatre, founded in 1993, was clean and comfortable, with excellent acoustics. The temperature in the venue was comfortable in late September. We were in orchestra seats (section B, row 5), but there wasn't a bad seat in the house. The theatre is in Barefoot Landing, where patrons could avail themselves to pre-show dinners or shopping. Parking is free and plentiful. Our orchestra tickets were $54.95 each, including taxes and fees. They do not offer senior, military, AAA or AARP discounts. (We did see a brochure that advertised a summer special wherein 2 kids aged 16 and under are allowed per paid adult). No refunds or exchanges are allowed. Our rating for the experience is 4.5, rounded up to 5.0. A few minor things prevented a true 5.0 rating. (1) Upon entering, we were unknowingly directed to table where the gentleman tried to sign us up for a timeshare presentation at Wyndham Resorts; and (2) some of the actors seemed uncomfortable in the costumes and were seemingly "just going through the motions" in some of the later musical selections, especially the Under the Sea/Ariel and Aladdin ones. We would visit the Alabama Theatre again when next in the N. Myrtle Beach area.
