Out of all the liquor stores in Park City (there are 3 ... the other two are closer to Kimball Junction and/or Downtown respectively), this is the largest State liquor store and thus stocks the most volume and variety of liquor. Mostly, we were looking for beers, and were surprised to find they stocked some pretty high end offerings. They had many trappist beers from Belgium as well as local brews and specialty Sam Adams offerings. For a state that limits its beers in bars to 3.2%, it sure does not reflect in the liquor stores. The prices were definitely a bit more, but considering the tax is lower (4.75%) and these are harder to find even in a state with normal liquor laws, I didn't mind too much. They even had a great selection of rare whiskeys and scotches, much to the delight of my group mates. The staff is friendly and during Sundance you will OFTEN find celebrities here because they have to come here to buy liquor just like everyone else :). Hello Julian McMahon! Hope you enjoyed the Orval....

Beer with high alcohol volume. Turn it up to 11

Compared to all other beer wine and liquor stores in Park City, the Post office looking State liquor store wins by a landslide. We first tried a few other stores including Whole Foods, but as you will see and read in other reviews, they do not sell over 4% alcohol by volume- however, the state store does. We got 10.5% here among other high content brews. They have a large selection. There is a lot of local beer like Uinta, Epic, Squatters and Wasatch but they also have Chimay, Rougue and Sam Adams for example. You can find this location in the strip mall with a place called "the market" behind the Squatters Roadhouse. The Squatters restaurant could not sell us a bottle of beer but our wonderful waitress Misty recommended we go here. She is an angel.

They have TVs everywhere so we watched a few football games. It wasn't crowded at all which is surprising because it is the best value meal we found in PC and the quality was top notch. Fast forward to dinner and we decided to come back and sit at the bar for the Holy War football game. Greg was working the bar and set us up with a happy hour food menu. We tried the wings which were literally the best I've ever had, chicken fingers (5 stars) and a nice little meat lovers pizza. The food was great and was all 1/2 price! Jim Fish was in the house playing some exceptional country music during the dinner hour. Great place, great service, great prices, can't believe it's not packed!!!! Burgers were great, but they came with a side of fried chickpeas which were not crispy at all, and cold. Unfortunately there were only 3 servers for the entire place on a Saturday night. I had to ask at least 5 times to get a glass of water. It took multiple tries to get a server's attention so we could order any food or beer.

While we were there we saw a cocktail class happening, which looked really fun. Definitely something I'd love to come back and try next time. Small detail, but I also loved the bathroom products. It's those little touches that make a place stand out. Overall the drinks, atmosphere, and service were all excellent. One of my favorite cocktail spots in Park City.

The staff we interacted with were equally lovely. Biscuits and gravy is my go-to at any diner. I mean it when I say this was the best biscuits and gravy I've ever had. The whole thing is one biscuit and the gravy is more of a bechamel with a peppery kick balanced by the sweet biscuit; more like a savory cake in the best way. My professional cook boyfriend is rarely ever impressed by food and we were equally blown away! There are no incorrect options on the menu. Bf also loved his huevos rancheros, but the biscuits and gravy were the star of the show. We cannot recommend it enough and couldn't stop talking about it the rest of our trip.

The Eating Establishment certainly falls into this description. We had a variety of food dishes for brunch and nothing stood out. Actually, the "Shakshuka" stood out because this was without a doubt the worst shakshuka I've ever eaten. It was made entirely incorrectly. The sauce was bland and watery. There were copious amounts of whole garlic cloves (??????) which forced a game of dodge the cloves to eat whatever else was remotely edible. The staff was nice.
