We were walking by the Cabin and were hungry so we stopped for an early lunch. Turned out they have a brunch menu and $7 bloodies and mimosas. We had the Brunch breakfast which was great. For some reason it's hard to get a proper scrambled egg but this one was great. And the bloody Mary's made by the bartender "Sasquatch" were on point. They have TVs everywhere so we watched a few football games. It wasn't crowded at all which is surprising because it is the best value meal we found in PC and the quality was top notch. Fast forward to dinner and we decided to come back and sit at the bar for the Holy War football game. Greg was working the bar and set us up with a happy hour food menu. We tried the wings which were literally the best I've ever had, chicken fingers (5 stars) and a nice little meat lovers pizza. The food was great and was all 1/2 price! Jim Fish was in the house playing some exceptional country music during the dinner hour. Great place, great service, great prices, can't believe it's not packed!!!! Nice vibe, free live music. Excellent fish and chips - 3 pieces of lightly battered mahi mahi which my brother called the best fried fish he's ever had at a bar/pub. Plus they let me sub Caesar salad for the fries. I did try some Cajun fries which had a serious kick. Burgers were great, but they came with a side of fried chickpeas which were not crispy at all, and cold. Unfortunately there were only 3 servers for the entire place on a Saturday night. You can't go to Park city without it ever being not crowded. But in spite of that we were able to find ourselves a table easily at the cabin, it was very busy there, but they still got us to a table quickly and we sat and we made our orders we all each looked at the menu and selected what we thought would be our favor from the day. I selected the pork sliders and I thought they were just off the hook good. I actually saved one in because they come in threes and I had one of them the next day as well. The customer service was wonderful. The place was clean and we had a great time and it was a celebration day out with my brother-in-law and my wife. Wonderful experience. I'd come back in a minute. The cabin definitely hit the spot after the 4th of July parade! I'm a little disoriented leaving after some hidden fees on our final receipt. After we both ordered sandwiches, our waitress asked if we wanted fries or chips. The way it was phrased made it seem like it came with it but it did not. And it was way too many fries, we definitely would've shared one portion instead of two. We also both got a bourbon, one with coke and one with ginger ale. Ordered "The Godfather" pizza, a Cesar salad, and a side of fries. The food was very, very mediocre. The salad did not taste fresh... Seeking a spot to kill some time while we waited on a reservation elsewhere, our foursome made our way down Main Street to The Cabin to grab a couple bevvies. THE SPACE: We didn't actually head into The Cabin during our visit. It was a nice day to catch some rays on the patio. The patio offers up great views of Main Street and the nearby Olympic ski jumps. There are umbrellas to help block some heat on the hot summer days. THE DRINKS: After browsing the drink menu, the boys each opted for pours of the local IPA, my friend chose a glass of wine, and I decided that a spicy bloody mary would hit the spot perfectly. When our drinks came out, my friend's wine had somehow turned into a white ale. When our server checked back with us moments later, he was perplexed as well at the white ale sitting before my friend. He promptly fixed the error and left the misdelivered brew for our party to share. My bloody was just the right amount of spicy and came garnished perfectly. Their menu does feature a tasty looking loaded bloody that would make a great individual brunch appetizer. THE FOOD: While we didn't order any bites during our visit, they do offer a menu full of delicious looking bites. THE SERVICE: When you initially arrive, they will immediately check your id at the door. After that, we were given the option to head inside or grab a seat on the sunny patio. We opted for the later given the perfect day. Once we were seated on the patio, we waited for easily ten minutes before we were further acknowledged. Our server dropped off a couple menus and gave us time to check they out. Things were definitely a bit slower than you'd expect, but given the short staffing at many restaurants, it wasn't terrible. The Cabin was definitely an A-OK stop for our little group during our time in Park City. If I find myself back in the area, I'd gladly stop back in for a drink or two. Solid place for watching college football on a Saturday, eating pretty damn good food, and enjoying some drinks with the family. A bastion of not overly crazy expensive in the Park City area- I adore this spot. They have charcuterie, don't worry. We had a large group and visited middle of the day, just the (large, not-mormon) family, and enjoyed hanging out, eating, and having some delicious drinks. The service was awesome, and the food was perfect for having a chill experience. Be warned, the chicken plate is large. My pastrami sandwich was fabulous. If you haven't been to Utah and had "Fry sauce" you are in for a treat. Summary: Wait time for food was very long even though it wasn't busy (40 minutes), chicken tenders were overcooked, but the pizza was delicious! Details: My dining partner and I visited on a Monday afternoon in late February. We ordered a couple drinks, the Cabin fried chicken, and the Original Elkupie pizza. The drinks came fairly quickly and I enjoyed my cocktail. The chicken tenders came 20 minutes after the drinks and were a little bit overdone. Still fine to eat but you could tell they were in the fryer for a few minutes too long. The pizza came 15 minutes after the chicken tenders. (Times are based off of the time stamps on my photos!) The pizza was delicious and I enjoyed having elk meat for the first time. Overall, we were just very confused and didn't get any comment as to what was taking the food so long because aside from us, there was just 1-2 other tables of diners. This place was so fun, and just what we were looking for! We passed by in the evening after we had already eaten dinner, and discovered that, not only were they open for brunch in the morning, but that they had some nice vegan options. We came back the next day right as they opened and had an amazing vegan breakfast sandwich, and the BEST breakfast potatoes I've ever eaten. Full bar menu available even at brunch; I had an excellent bloody mary. Service was warm and friendly, the manager stopped by to chat us up, and the environment lots of fun. We're going back again today! The Cabin feels like a real bar and grill with actual character, unlike many of the other restaurants in the area that were slapped together around a loose theme in order to rake in tourist bucks. Holy transformation!! I have not been here since it became the Cabin (used to frequent this spot all the time back in 2010 and a few times in 2012). I love the change in the atmosphere and decor. My husband and his band came here tonight to play a gig and the staff was friendly and E-man was incredible setting up the sound. I love still seeing Sasquatch behind the bar. It's nice to see a local spot still keep the great staff even with the name and ownership changes. The crowd in the bar was totally different from when I used to come here too. Plenty of floor space if people want to dance and awesome leather booths and stools. I am glad to see the couches gone! Opening the menu on the table my jaw dropped seeing the prices of the drinks ($30 for the elkupine?!?@#@!! It better be damn good and last me all night if I ever order that thing). I was however excited to see the food on the menu as that was something this place never had. Unfortunately, the fryer was shot and overcooking food so I couldn't even try out the menu. More stars would be given if I could have tried the food. At least they acknowledge the error and let you bring food in if you can't order from them. One of the band members ordered some fries and jalapeño poppers and the fries came out super hard, not a good crunchy. The server was kind enough to go next door and order fries for him to make up for it and they stopped serving food after that since the fryer wasn't working properly. I had never been to Park City before, but my wife & I found it quite charming. We also found The Cabin & we found it quite charming as well ! We just stopped in for a couple of cocktails, but our BarMan Erick was great company ! I ordered the "DIY" ( Do it Yourself ) where you get to assemble the parts of the drink 'yourself'. It was delightful ! My wife got "Al's Lemonade" and it was tasty too ! All in all, The Cabin was in a great location, has great atmosphere and service.
