The aisles are clearly labeled with what type of alcohol is in them, and they have an especially large wine selection as well, organized by type. They used to have one of my favorite roses here when nowhere else had it - it's since no longer carried here last I checked, which is tragic, but they have a lot of unique and high quality, yet reasonably priced, options that I've been able to switch to. There are even tons of mixers, snacks, and gift basket type paraphernalia available here by the checkouts, so it can be a one stop shop before you head to a party or stock up for a date night. Even their selection of local craft beers is more diverse than most other places I've tried - it's especially great around the holidays if you want to gift some local craft beer. I'm always recommending this place to people. I even needed help looking for something specific I was wandering around forever and unable to find, and they paged someone from the back to come out and help me find it on the shelves.

The selection of the wines and spirits is very good and they have the aisles and shelves very clearly labelled and marked. I was looking for a specific Chenin Blanc, which they did not have, but the prices and selection of most other wines was good. There are a few decent places to grab wine in this area but most of them are a drive for me, and since I'm juggling that whole parenthood, owning a business, taking care of life in general stuff - I don't always get the chance to take a 30-40 minute drive to find some booze that my snobby palate will enjoy. Town Liquors is small and from the outside, it looks like every other package store on route 6, but when you step inside you're greeted with walls, shelves and cases of wine varieties - and not just every day ones. Yes, you can get your Barefoot wine or your (GROSS), white zin - BUT, if you're looking for something a smidge more sophisticated, they can help you with that too. The wine guy, (maybe he's a manager, but for the purposes of this review, let's just call him the wine guy), is incredibly helpful and knowledgeable. He is working with a small space and trying to make sure it's stocked with reasonably priced, high quality wines. (He's also brought in some heavy hitters that are more expensive that you'd NEVER find in this area.) He loves Spanish wines, so there are quite a few of them. He recommended a couple to me and even let me taste some in store - I bought both. I never would have if he hadn't had them out for tasting because admittedly, I don't know my Spanish wines at all. I feel like if this place had a bigger space, they would be killing it. That's the only reason this isn't five stars, because even with all the clever arranging and displaying, there's just not enough room in the place to have a variety like some of the larger wine stores. BUT, they're further away. So if you're looking to try something new...or you want to bring a bottle to a dinner party that will impress, definitely give this place a try. They also offer a 10% discount if you buy 6 bottles or more. PS. There's a really great Lebanese place in the same shopping center that is BYOB!
