My husband and I were looking for a very specific car - an Infiniti G37x from 2011 to 2013 - and we went from one dealership to the next looking at everything that was available in the Seattle area. Pretty much every car had serious flaws, from Carfax reports of previous accidents, to rust bubbling through the paint, to trashed interiors, even audible muffler leaks. And just to take a test drive meant we had to fill out forms and have the dealer sit in the back seat. Then we spotted an ad for a 2011 G37x from State Street Motors in Bellingham, and we made the (long but scenic) drive, where we met with Eli. His attitude immediately conveyed trust in us - "Here are the keys, and make sure you take it on the freeway so you can get it going fast. Take your time." And no, he didn't sit in the back seat. To make a long story short, we loved the car but were concerned by a warning light that would not shut off. I called my mechanic in Seattle who said that the fix is often a fairly difficult one, so it would be best if we could get it fixed before taking possession of the car. We reported that to Eli, who agreed that no matter what it took, State Street Motors would fix the condition at no charge. And they did. I am writing this review on behalf of my aunt and uncle. They have been taken advantage by Dory Saad @ State Street Motors. On November 7th, they purchased a Ram Truck and gave Dory Saad $10K CASH. On December 6th the electrical system on the truck failed. Dory Saad said that he would have the truck repaired at no cost within 48 hours. We dropped off the truck and haven't heard from State Street Motors since. We have called multiple times and he doesn't answer the phone. We have stopped by the office and he refused to either fix the truck or return the money. This is a VERY dishonorable business. Unless they fix the truck and return it immediately, or give us the $10K back we will move to the courts for satisfaction. read more

Ladies!!!! If you are looking to be treated fairly, deal with Francisco and Dory. They are super professional, very courteous and knowledgeable. I highly recommend their dealership. I got to the office at 9:30 and I walked out with my dream truck in less than 2 hours. I had a trade in and Dory was so open about pricing and how to make it a good deal for everyone. I am unsure how this business has the positive reviews it does. Dory and company sold my young daughter a truck with a ticking lifter and almost no brakes. She took it the day after buying it to get an oil change and 2 different places would not touch it. Dory claimed to "fix" it but the repair shop he supposedly took it to confirmed that they did not repair it and the problem persists. $2000 in brake work was done and engine has been quoted to need 10k in repairs. Dory refused to take it back 24 hours after purchase when problems came out. These guys are crooks with no scruples and no problems financially destroying a young girl trying to get much needed transportation. Not sure how people like this sleep at night. read more

It was a nice vehicle but it wasn't the one for us so Dori recommended we check out another gorgeous SUV on his lot. After test driving it for an hour we bought it on the spot! I couldn't be more pleased with my car buying experience at State Street Motors. I've purchased cars from Honda, Chevy and even Subaru and always dread the experience because they typically make you sit and wait for hours and hours only to walk out of there unsure if you made the right decision. They never really budge on the price or give you a decent trade in. I hate it. They pretend to get you the best rate even though it usually isn't that great. That was not my experience at State Street Motors. Dory had been messaging with me but I ghosted him for a day, unsure I was ready to jump into a car payment before the new year. I thought maybe the vehicle sold so I decided to email Dory and stop by the dealership since I was already in Bellingham. Dory made time for me right away. He was the farthest from a pushy car salesman. He answered all my questions and gave me honest advice. No pressure. To be honest I was so comfortable I didn't even drive the vehicle before purchasing it. I really had no intention of buying that day, I was just stopping by to look but loved it and everything felt right. Dory literally had me in and out of the dealership in 45 mins. His employee was also extremely kind and they both made me feel like I won a million dollars (I think I even told them that ). I will always recommend State Street Motors to all my friends and family. I feel like I got a really good deal on my new Acura and I got a much better trade in than I expected. My monthly payment is low and I have my dream car. Oh and just yesterday Dory messaged me that he ordered me an extra key for my vehicle. This was not something we discussed, I assumed I'd have to buy my own extra key, but he went out of his way to make sure I walked away with everything I needed. That's incredible and so kind. Dory at State Street Motors is a no bs kind of guy - either buy the car or don't, he wants you in a vehicle you love. He helped me get the vehicle love and I couldn't be happier. I am having a prolonged, bad experience with State Street Motors. I bought a used car. I am not allowed to talk to the owner. Car purchased had an obvious issue that was a minor repair and I was told (in writing) that it would be replaced with new, manufactured replacement. It was "fixed" with a used part. When I asked, manager said, That's what they sent us. At home, one tire kept losing air. Took it to tire experts. Found large hole. I was forced to replace 4 tires. But when weather turned from hot to wet season water began to flood in. WeatherTech mats hid leak for weeks. I took it to another dealer for thorough inspection. They found over 1" of water. Send car to leak specialist. Found heavily damaged under bumper. They refused to do repairs because a lot of damage and faulty repairs were found behind the bumper. Repairs made with a piece of wood & glued & screwed into car. videopoof. The screws pierced the metal so water was coming through holes. The "new" bumper had been put on to cover up the shoty work. The car required extensive repairs. Entire interior carpets (seats, console, and floor carpets) had to be stripped and cleaned. Notified State Street and the sales manager offered me measly $1,000 to cover the almost $6,000 worth of work. Called 3X. No call back. Called again- treated rudely. Manager hung up. Unannounced went to meet face to face with owner. No owner available. Manager had no solution. No listening. Total disrespect. Found owners name. Sent a certified letter. No reply. Called him. He called me "F***king person". Said his manager makes decisions, not him. Manager says owner makes the decisions. Who is lying? Told me to call one of his 3 lawyers. I only want half of my expenses reimbursed. Is that a lot to ask? I am a single mom and just had my car stolen. I was just looking for a fair deal. I am more than disappointed in this company. The owner told me in writing, if I want a running can, I should spend $60K next time. read more
