    Updated: I can't go above 3 stars because of the efforts it took to get to a satisfactory resolution but I do give credit and props to the GM Chris for taking note and spending the time to review the details and determine a course of action to try and make things right. It is appreciated. Still read what you are signing but at least know that there is someone there who wants your experience to be positive.

    I purchased a BMW XM5 from MB Motors LLC and had it delivered to my home in Southern California…read more Within two minutes of taking delivery, I experienced two serious issues: the emergency brake failed, and a check engine light illuminated with a cylinder 3 misfire code. Prior to purchase, I requested a pre-purchase inspection (PPI). The salesperson, Emil Vinberg, declined to allow the PPI at the shop of my choosing, stating he did not have a good relationship with the technician there. I later learned from that technician that MB Motors does not permit PPIs at his shop because they were unsatisfied with findings he had reported in the past. I was directed instead to SK Motorsport for the inspection. This raised concerns for me, as Emil described SK Motorsport's Joe as a personal friend. Notably, the PPI report from SK Motorsport did not identify any of the issues present at the time of delivery. Neither Emil nor anyone at MB Motors disclosed any pre-existing issues with the vehicle. After taking delivery, I contacted both Emil and General Manager George Boulos. Both have refused to accept any responsibility. I have provided them with photos documenting the mileage -- confirming the car was driven less than two minutes -- along with photos and video of the defective components. I have since had the vehicle towed to a reputable local mechanic, who quoted $3,000 to repair the emergency brake alone. I have offered to share full documentation from the mechanic, including the repair estimate and mileage verification. To date, MB Motors has not responded constructively. I will be attaching photos and video of the issues to this review.​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​

    Issues with the service department…read more I have previously used this dealership for service and had decent experiences, which is why this recent interaction was so disappointing. I brought in a truck for recall work on behalf of a family member. While checking it in, I spoke with a service employee named Jake about getting an extra key made for my personal 2021 Jeep. He quoted me a price, I told him I would think about it, and later sent a text message clearly stating: "I need another key for the jeep... 2021 Jeep." When I returned, I discovered they had ordered a key for the truck instead. Mistakes happen, and I would have understood that. What I could not understand was how the situation was handled afterward. When I explained the misunderstanding, I was told the earlier conversation about the Jeep "never happened," which made me feel as though I was being accused of lying. Even after showing the text message confirming that I had requested a Jeep key, the interaction became confrontational rather than solution-oriented. The manager came out of his office, removed the unwanted truck key from the key ring, threw it into the trash in front of me, and walked away without introducing himself, acknowledging me, or attempting to have a professional conversation. I did not want the truck key and had no issue with it being discarded. The problem was the dismissive and hostile way the situation was handled. I left feeling embarrassed, bullied, and pressured into accepting responsibility for a mistake that was not mine. Good customer service is not about never making mistakes -- it is about how those mistakes are handled. Unfortunately, this experience showed a lack of professionalism, accountability, and basic respect.
