When you enter it's sort of like going into a very very very secure dentist's office. Each appraiser seems to have his/her own little station along a hallway after you get buzzed through by the receptionist or whatever. Dave Atlas appraised a loose sapphire for us here at AGA. He was awesome. Very thorough (spent about 45 minutes with us and our little stone). Explained everything he was doing. Gave us a full report (two copies, one for us, one for future insurance purpose). It's possible that I just have warm fuzzy feelings about the sapphire, but I really do think Dave did an awesome job. If you need an appraisal, I highly recommend.
