So I was urgent searching from yelp and called to CompleteCare since it's not far from my home and they have the spot available. Dr. San Giorgio is amazing and knowledgeable. He go through every steps before the process and explain to me why it caused his knee to that. He then did an injection for Roy and said just need to wait till it heel by itself which might take at least few months unless I want to do a surgery which can fix right away. But I don't think it's that seriously to do it by surgery. So I decided to bring him home first and see how it go. Then I brought him back after 10days for recheck with X-ray to make sure his bone doesn't have any issue because he still hanging the leg up sometime. It had been passed like what, 2 months? Finally he's walking like normal but I won't say 100% recovery because he's a senior now. I'll definitely come back for any issue and recommend you to book in advance. Sometime I'm not able to book an appointment and will end up go to another vet when it came to emergency.

Instead, I left disappointed, frustrated, and with the feeling that my dog's medical issues were not properly evaluated. I was told that Lucy had a fungal ear infection without any diagnostic testing to confirm it, despite being quoted approximately $200 for laboratory testing alone. She was prescribed treatment that ultimately proved ineffective, and no systemic antibiotic was prescribed, even though her infection continued to worsen over the following weeks. What concerns me even more is that I later sought a second opinion from another veterinarian, who immediately identified the ear infection as a yeast infection, carefully explained the difference, showed me exactly what was happening inside Lucy's ear, and demonstrated how the ear canal had become narrowed due to inflammation. He prescribed an appropriate treatment plan that included antibiotic ear drops, oral antibiotics, prednisone, and Apoquel. Within a very short time, Lucy showed significant improvement. The difference in the eye examinations was equally troubling. I was previously told that Lucy's eyes were essentially normal and that she could see through them. The second veterinarian performed a far more careful examination, explained that she has glaucoma, pointed out the differences between both eyes, and referred me to a veterinary ophthalmologist for specialized care. That level of attention and communication gave me confidence that my dog was finally receiving the care she needed. He also performed a much more comprehensive physical examination and identified another issue that had not been discussed previously--a soft mammary cyst that will eventually require surgical removal after her current medical problems are addressed. Rather than recommending multiple expensive visits without a clear plan, he prioritized Lucy's conditions logically: first the ear infection, then the glaucoma evaluation, and finally surgery. Perhaps the most surprising part was the cost. The second veterinarian charged me approximately $150 for the examination, medications, and a complete treatment plan. I left understanding my dog's condition, knowing what to expect next, and most importantly, seeing real improvement almost immediately. Lucy is 14 years old--about 72 years old in dog years. At her age, she deserves careful, compassionate, and thorough medical care. My experience here simply did not provide that level of confidence. Every pet owner deserves clear communication, careful diagnostics, and treatment plans based on a thorough examination. Unfortunately, that was not my experience at this practice, and I cannot recommend it based on the care my dog received.

This review is solely regarding Dr. McBean:…read more My dog had clearly had a stroke. She showed all the signs: sudden loss of balance, weakness on one side of the body, strabismus in one eye. And instead of treating her for a stroke (which, as an RN, I could immediately tell was the case), they gave me worthless eyedrops (that did nothing), and told me "she's old, it's arthritis". I explained that a dog doesn't go from running around and playing like a healthy dog with perfect vision that never had any eye issues one day, to literally waking up the next day shaking, limping on one side, with one eyeball completely pointed in the opposite direction, and barely able to stand. When I sent an email to the vet (Dr. McBean) a week later, stating that the eyedrops have done nothing, she responded with "you seem to be unhappy with our service, so we suggest you find help elsewhere". Brought the dog to another vet who took one look at her, actually listened to what I had to say about the dog's history, and said that considering she's shown no improvement at all, and she went from perfectly healthy to her current state over the course of a few hours, it's not vestibular disease, and shows all the signs of being a stroke. He also said, "we'd need a ct scan to confirm (which unfortunately I didn't have the money for) but a dog doesn't go from running to barely being able to walk over the course of a few hours, because of arthritis." He immediately started her on corticosteroids to reduce brain inflammation (which Noah's Ark refused to do), and told me the eyedrops that were given to me at Noah's Ark were pointless. I've been taking 3 of my dogs to Noah's Ark for over a decade, and never had a problem with Dr. Abraham. But this new Dr. McBean is a joke of a veterinarian. Find vet care (literally) anywhere else.
