They have one cashier open and the line takes 15-20 mins. They have two 15 or less item lanes open and those are so long too. They do not have baggers here anymore which makes the lines take even longer if you don't help the cashier. I do but I see many people just let them do it on their own. I brought my own bags so I wouldn't have to pay for them and they CHARGED ME for MY OWN bags I brought FROM HOME. They're really expensive here now too. It's not worth coming here unless you have no other place to go. One of the worst Stater Bros. in the AV because of how little staff they have actually working. Generally very good service, but please get your credit card machines fixed. My last two times in, at different check stands, wouldn't accept insert or swipe. I ended up having to tap. I'm afraid at some point one won't accept my card at all, then I'll be screwed. I'm going to start going to the other store, but they may have the same problem. Stater Bros on 47th St and S in Palmdale have some unhappy and rude cashiers. Don't get me wrong, most of them are very nice and friendly. But there are a few that really need to find a new line of work. I think this guy was even a manager. Don't know his name, but he has curly hair. He was very rude just because I asked for a lotto ticket. I get working with the public can be draining, but don't take out your frustrations on everyone. read more

I went and spoke to a manager concerning my experience to the buffalo wings & Chicken. Apparently it was a problem with the warmer that when set to proper temperature had a malfunction and was over cooking the buffalo wings and chicken from underneath (food warmer). Repairs have been made and the manager thanked for for bringing it to their attention. Chicken and buffalo wings are delicious NOW. STATER BROS. MARKET is a great STORE TO SHOP AT not like Walmart where you can't find anything. Fresh Produce among other thing. I LOVE shopping at that store. Thank you for taking care of the problem. read more

On a January 1st visit ( this past Saturday) shortly after opening, I was greeted by several staff members ( some of whom may have had a rough morning recovering from the previous nights' revelry. However, I wanted to take a moment to thank them all for being there on a day that I thought they were closed and for being helpful, friendly and extremely courteous!!! I look forward to coming to THIS location every time that I am in town. Just like my New Years' eve visit to this store, when items I was on the hunt for, employees not only asked what I was hunting for, but went of their own accord and retrieved them to provide not only what I needed but to stock out of stock items on the shelves. I go to this Stater Bros often because of the ATM. It's indoors and I feel safer than I would going to the walk up or drive up ATM's at the nearby banks. There's quite a few panhandlers that stand by the entrance I always hold my head down and ignore them. (Don't start no problems..won't be no problems) As far as the store....it's always crowded with very long lines. I don't know if that's because they are understaffed or they have really great prices. I'm more of a Whole Foods and Trader Joe shopper. I buy lottery tickets from here only because it's next to the ATM. Do you think they did that on purpose? LOL! read more

This has to be the worst visit in a stater brod. Store . DANIEL THE ASSISTANT MANAGER ,is what he had said , title was . I walked into the store and seeing that the ice cream was on sale Haagen-Dazs 6.99 the entire shelf was filled with the Haagen-Dazs 6.99 it's a wow what a great deal so I grabbed one and I proceeded to go to the check tye cashier was Christian help me he said well the digital price is I said well that's odd because on the Shelf it says 699 cannot be honored so he gets a manager to come along and Manders like nope the digital price of 1299 he comes back with the Stater Brothers brand of ice cream sandwiches for 699 which there was one on the Shelf way at the bottom and other was was Haagen-Dazs filled up that entire shelving from top to the very bottom there was one in there and he said he wasn't able to honor it because on the actual door it says 1299 I'm looking at the price on the Shelf not the door so I asked him who the manager was he said his name was Daniel and that he was the assistant manager in that he was in honoring the price there was no apology no assistance just an inconvenience I will never return to the Stater Brothers ever again I will continue to shop at the one on 25th and S because their customer service is excellent does it matter if they're friendly it doesn't matter if they picked the wrong thing on the shelf that has the wrong price they needs to make up for their mistakes. Stater Brothers on 47th and a half has a lot of young people that do not experience good customer service they have no experience when it comes to showing good customer service they don't think out-of-the-box they don't please the customer they're just straight very cold very selfish with no good attentive customer service no apologies which they should honor if they are wrong they should honor. This door has extremely poor customer service also not to mention that their lines are extremely long with no apologies and not enough checks Downs open. read more

They have great meat prices but sometimes it seems like there is too much water in them because they shrink tremendously when cooked.

I love shopping at stater bro's because I don't have to wait a long time in line . But when I went yesterday night and was looking for bagel I notice they had move it they usually have it in the front on the right side of the entrance and when I asked the manager at night Tony if they had move it he said they are in aisle so and so next to the bread . I was disappointed because I was with my kids I didn't know asking where was the bagel was going to make me feel dumb . He needs better training with costumer service . read more

Rotten meat, this will be the 4th incident of bad meat from Stater Bros, shrimp, crab claws, crab legs and bite pork chops. Sure they refunded me the money. But I live 30 minutes from the store. No concern about that! And to top it off, I walked back to the meat counter and found, the same outdated pork chops! After I was assured by Tom the manager that the old meat would be pulled. The new layout of the store is great. Now that there is only one entrance door, the number of disabled parking spaces near this entrance should be increased. I have had to ride around for several minutes before an open space becomes available. I use an assisted device and having closer parking to the entrance is one of my priorities when I select a store for shopping. read more

I went here a few weeks ago at night and there was no mask enforcement at all. People were coming in with no masks and leaving with no masks. A couple of employees were wearing masks below the nose in addition to this. Clearly they do not care about safety of customers or even their own employees. I will not be coming back here. My Likes and Dislikes Overall, I really like this store. I don't like some of the new layout such as the over the counter medicine area is blocked off. The 2nd entrance is blocked, but the handicapped parking is not changed. The store needs to be more sensitive to the needs of handicapped individuals and move those handicapped spaces closer to the entrance area. Handicapped parking is for those who have trouble walking, heart problems, breathing problems, etc. - why make it harder for them to enter the store? They might as well go elsewhere where parking is better suited to their needs. I have never had a problem with the quality of meat. Went shopping there recently and saw that there's a sushi bar added to the deli section. Sushi rolls being made fresh on the spot.

Like most supermarkets out there you can pretty much get anything you want however what sets them aside are their prices. You can find many items at extremely competitive prices. Another great thing about this store is it's wide selection of alcoholic drinks. Having it's own dedicated department makes for an almost endless variety of drinks. You can also grab a bite to eat at their deli which offers a broad selection of meats and cooked meals. I've never tried it myself but I've seen plenty of people in line for their fried chicken and potato wedges. read more

I really like shopping here, the lines are never too long and the full circle organics brand is really good, they have the organic version of pretty much everything and it's really cheap. I am pretty disappointed with their meat department though, they use to be known for the quality meats they offered but Everytime I go, the free range chicken selection is pretty much empty and all the "USDA choice beef" is far from that, it looks nice raw but once cooked it's full of tendons. Kind of a big deal when your dropping $25 on one piece of meat. The lunch meat selection is pretty sad too. Bummer read more

I like shopping here they have a great grocery selection here and it's not hectic like Walmart. Only thing is I bought the so delicious coconut milk yogurt and it expired August 2018 so check the dates on your food because they don't. read more

If you're handicapped in any way they've closed off one of their doorways you have to go all the way around to where the Deli is there is not ample parking for the handicap they knew this before they even started this project of closing off 1 of the doors because they had to get a permit so if you're handicapped please park on the Deli side if you can find a handicap parking spot on the area they added no extra spots so good luck as for me I need to find another store read more

I've been a customer for many years for both my food and my dog food... it has been a struggle to get this location to stock their brand of dry dog food, they often run out.
