Ro took me into her brow room and introduced herself. She was conversive in a comfortable, friendly way and discussed what she would like to do, she asked if I had any preferences or anything, in particular, I wanted to get done. I told her I would go with what she was comfortable doing. She gently applied wax to clean my brow areas and filled them in then topped them with a brow gel to keep them in place. My brows look amazing and her fill-in technique is superb. They look super natural and perfectly contoured. I would recommend and return to Ro without a doubt. The Spa is really nice as well, smells wonderful, looks clean and the ambiance is very relaxing. I might schedule a facial here soon.

I booked a 50 minute facial online because I received a promotion they were holding for the month of April where the facials would be $50. I arrived a couple of minutes early and was given a short questionnaire to fill out as I waited for my "licensed aesthetician" to finish up with her previous client. About 5-10 minutes later, Zlata came out and introduced herself and brought me into the back where the spa/treatment rooms are located. She left me alone to put on the robe and get myself comfortable on the table. Zlata was very warm and knowledgeable about skin care and skin types. The room was small but very relaxing. Calming aromas filled the air and made me so at ease. I've had facials before but none like this one- and she prided herself in telling me that her facial is non comparable to others. She believe in using aroma oils to relax the body because that's when your skin respond best to treatment. She massaged me and rubbed lavender and chamomile oils and I slipped into my own little oasis as she massaged, rubbed, exfoliated, and moisturized my face. I was so relaxed I fell asleep and occasionally woke myself up with my own snores lmao. I mean this is the most relaxing facial I have ever gotten. I didn't want it to end! My face is glowing !! Such a huge difference. I went in there not planning on spending more money than I had to and walked out with a bag full of goodies. Clarins' products are expensive but they're worth it. I ended up purchasing the "Mission perfection serum" for dark spots ($73) and the "multi-active skin starter kit" ($55) which includes a full size day moisturizer, travel size night cream, and travel size eye contour gel. I was also gifted a cosmetic bag with the choice of 4 travel/sample sized products because I purchased 2 products. All in all, I loved the facial. Zlata was a doll - I would recommend her to anyone. The products are pricey but worth it. And I'm a glowing gal :)

Now, I may need to keep Apeiro as apart of a new routine. For an entire week I've been using the Apeiro Advanced Deep Moisturizer, Facial Skin Peeler and Shaving Cream. Surprisingly, these products are near odorless. The shaving cream has a slight floral or cologne like fragrance that's very slight but it's great. Neither item feels like a ton of chemicals that are going onto your skin. The deep moisturizer and facial peeler comes in these white boxes with gold dusted lightly into the tone. The moisturizer has two thin blue stripes on the front left side of the box while the peeler has two silver stripes on it. Upon opening the deep moisturizer box you'll find this little spoon which I used to spread the cream like smooth warm butter over toast. Odorless, white, velvety feel once you open the sleek plastic clear encase that covers the gold top. The spoon kept me from using too much cream and allowed me to evenly space out the product to create a thin layer over my skin. Let sit for about 3-5 minutes and then I washed it off with warm water to flush the pours. My skin felt instantly smoother than before in under 10 minutes. The moisturizer I used daily twice a day especially in this heat with my constant sweating and challenges my pores are facing under the sun. Next, I used the shaving cream about twice a week. The shaving cream Premier by Deep Sea Premier has minerals that you cant feel but nearly smell that reminds me of an ocean breeze. With my sensitivity to razors it was a great relief to feel that after applying the product, there's a slight tingle that feels really good as if my facial hair was standing at attention as if a lightning storm was close by. It made shaving a breeze. Especially since I use a single blade razor for the optimal close shave. The product comes in this sleek dark olive green plastic squeeze bottle unlike the facial peeler and the moisturizer. After shaving and rinsing off the remainder, my skin was as smooth as a new born baby. Even my lady noticed the difference after using the product. Lastly, the facial peel. This is the once a week gem that seems to be the real glue that makes all the other products come together. Coming in a similar clear plastic jar with gold top as the moisturizer, the peel cream however is more of a gel. Its interesting to look at at first. Its transparent with what appears like gold dust (minerals) spread throughout. Inside the box comes a spoon that is used to spread the product throughout my face evenly and let dry. Using my hands these products in the application phase would destroy the product so the spoon helps with perfecting the smooth layout. After allowing to sit on my skin, I begin to notice as it dries, it flakes up as if my actual dead skin cells a departing from me with no scrubbing necessary. It's amazing to watch When ready I just rinse with cool water to close my pours. Overall, for someone who does not necessarily make the time to truly treat their skin the way it should be done, I appreciate how easy and smooth this process is. My skin has never felt smoother or clearer than the last week I've been using the products. I'd definitely recommend this for men who are also traveling too because the facial peeler does not take long to do as other products and I believe Apeiro to be a great natural product for any man to enjoy the results of.

She also mentioned she would "leave some Hydro jelly face masks for you upfront" to help with hydration it was made to sound like a little bonus because I had the gift card. Based on what she said, I understood that I'd only be paying for the $20 add-on plus a tip. However, when I went to check out, I was charged for the masks, bringing my total to about $70 -- essentially paying the full $140 value of the facial on top of the original cost of my gift card. I felt blindsided. If the masks were going to cost extra, that should have been clearly stated beforehand. It's not about the money so much as the principle the whole interaction felt disingenuous. I was actually planning on booking my next appointment before I left because I initially liked the aesthetician, but after this experience, I won't be returning. Transparency matters, and this just left a bad taste in my mouth.

The person helping me at the counter said she would ask her manager if there was a birthday discount. In the meantime, she applied a $10 member coupon to my purchase of two products recommended by the aesthetician. The manager could use some training on responding to customers in a pleasant manner, even if informing the customers that requested perks are not offered. When asked by the employee helping me whether they offered birthday discounts, the manager gruffly said "NO" and walked away. Something like "unfortunately, we do not, but happy birthday" would have been nicer.
