Stayed at a Airbnb down the street and kept seeing this place pop up as a fast breakfast spot. We were looking for some thing that we could have a quick breakfast on our way out of town back to Denver with our dog in tow. It was still pretty chilly when we went in February 2024 so we definitely didn't wanna leave the dog in the car too long nor could we eat on the patio with him. So I dropped in to this absolutely adorable, former gas station turned Café space. Grabbed a couple of burritos and coffee beverages and went on our way. The burritos were absolutely delicious, we both don't do spicy and it was pretty spicy, but the flavor was so amazing we kept pushing through it. Lol. Will definitely hurt return to this gem!! read more

Stepped in here for a coffee before heading to CO Springs. It's a cute place that would be fun to have some mimosas at. We stayed at A Riverhouse Lodge where we got two complimentary blueberry muffins that were pretty good. I got an iced latte with oat milk and Carmel - which I thought was delicious. Also contrary to previous comments, I really enjoy the smaller ice cubes. Would recommend, even if just for a quick coffee. read more

A basic roadside cafe with good breakfast burritos and other food and beverage options. I had tea, but there are a suite of coffee options. I saw they offered alcoholic breakfast drinks such as mimosas and bloody Mary's, though I didn't partake. It is a convert gasoline station in what locals call Johnson City. This is a working class neighborhood with a spectacular Mountain View from the patio out front. When the chi chi joints in Buena Vista get packed with tourists, this is my go-to breakfast place. I enjoyed the courteous and competent service as well as my breakfast taco! read more

A really nice place to stop and get a snack or even a full meal. Large outdoor space to enjoy with great seating and some shade. I love the Amish apple pie and the iced latte. I ordered an iced latte, no flavor, and I have nothing good to say about it except I did get an iced latte with no flavor. The ice is "sonic ice," so tiny little cubes that melt right away. The espresso tastes terrible. The cups they use don't even keep the lid on, which is very critical but it's a coffee shop - let's get some decent cups people! Good luck if you decide to try it, maybe I went on an off day. read more

I pass through this part of Buena Vista all the time and the only food options are really this and Dominos. I was so excited to finally try this place and am so glad I did. I got a sausage breakfast burrito and a cold brew coffee. The burrito was really good! Super hot and the cheese was melty and delicious! The cold brew coffee was also really nice and strong. Both items were also super affordable. The service was spectacular and my order was ready right away. The ambiance was interesting but had a cool sort of truck stop in a mountain town vibe. They were playing some pretty hype music too which was fun. I'm going to start going here every time I do my long commute to Denver. read more

What a creative use of an old gas station! Right off of highway 24 in Johnsons corner . It looks like a dive . The sign says burritos, coffee and tea ? - anyway they have more than burritos . I can't believe this place only has 3.5 stars! Just made a yelp account to support this business. First of all, the atmosphere is so cute and cozy. We got a sausage breakfast burrito and a veggie and they were both so tasty! They were perfect size (I feel that breakfast burritos can sometimes get out of hand, the American way I guess) and they were premade! So it was so quick to just grab these burritos and head out back on the road. We didn't get drinks but they have full barista service and MIMOSAS! What else more could you want?! Definitely would recommend to stop here if you are starting an early drive and you want a quick bite to eat! read more

Just walked in and a customer was ahead of me. Lady working said she couldn't help me as the one ahead of me was the last customer before they closed. the customer then said "don't worry I'm good" and she left. I kindly asked could I take her place (as I'm on 7 hour drive and need coffee and any tired customer would ask if they could at least get a coffee) she said in an extremely rude tone "I'm closing the door, sir!" So rude. You'd think during a pandemic you'd want the business. Try to be nice, lady! read more
