Turkey bacon melt & turkey Ruben
    Ashley C.

Great food, great service, and great atmosphere. This would have been a 5 star it was just way over priced for what you get. Turkey bacon melt on sour dough was really good and light, same with the Ruben. The Paloma's were strong and really good. Lots of different cocktails options and weekend drink specials. There needs to be more inside seating but they had good amount of outdoor seating. All the employees were super nice and seemed like they really liked their job.

We stopped in for breakfast when visiting this morning. It was very busy as this is clearly a popular place. One person was taking orders for a line of people that went out the door but it seemed like an efficient system. We ordered a small iced coffee, a vegan muffin, a vegan breakfast burrito and a full order of biscuits and gravy and it came to over 50 with tip. My iced coffee was good but I couldn't really taste the orange cardamom flavoring. It didn't take too long for our food to come out and the staff was really attentive to make sure everything was ok. I really loved the vegan burrito even though there was no salsa on the side. The vegan meat and tofu scramble it in were really good I would definitely recommend it. My husband said the biscuits and egg were good with his order but he wasn't a big fan of the gravy which he said had a slightly sweet taste. The vegan gluten free strawberry chocolate muffin was good but not great. We would definitely come back to this place next time we are in town.

Food and drinks were delicious! Staff and service were top notch, super friendly. Vibes good too! Open seating though but it will always work itself out, we walked in with a party of 4 and got a table right away during busy time :)

Stopped in Buena Vista for lunch on a roadtrip. The downtown strip had restaurants and coffee shops with other shopping available. Cool River has a small outdoor patio and seating inside. You place your order, then the staff brings out your order. I ordered the Power Salad, which was delicious!! Spinach, arugula, blueberries, quinoa, chickpeas, avocado, cukes. So tasty! They had plenty of other salads that looked super tasty. I would definitely return.

Very cute coffee and bakery with a lovely playlist and tables everywhere to sit and enjoy. We tried the chocolate croissant, probably the best thing ever, veggie burrito, and veggie bowl. The chai latte was also good. It was all very delicious. The staff is very nice and comes around to check on you and make sure the experience is going well. We would definitely come back. Went back for the second day in a row. Ally was so kind and welcoming just as the day before!

A mixed bag. I had a quinoa bowl that was delicious and a breakfast burrito that was pretty bad (filled with rice and bland red salsa).

The Chile rellenos were like some terrible version you find in terrible food places like eastern Oklahoma. The star of the relleno should be the chile, not the breading. It was almost all this way overdone breading. Not good at all. The "green chili" was as spicy as milk and equally as flavorful. My brother said the breakfast burrito was terrible. I saw it, and it did not look appetizing. Some of the "green chili" drizzled on top like an afterthought. Dry and uninspired. My son enjoyed his simple plate of bacon, eggs, hash browns, and toast, but those who ordered the Mexican food inspired dishes were majorly disappointed. As far as service, we waited forever to order. Our drinks were constantly empty. The server was very polite but things like missing items, missing silverware, empty coffees and waters starts to add up to a negative experience. Nice views outside and the place is clean so atmosphere is fine, but the rest was severely lacking.

I tried the "Mr. Ed" for the first time -- WOW -- two eggs on a gigantic biscuit with sausage gravy, hash browns, cheese AND pork green chile. Sharon had a stupendous "Golden Malted Waffle" with two toppings -- the blueberry was good, but the apple was exquisite. Sunday. Sharon ordered the "Farmer's Omelet" with ham, onions (lots of these), cheese, smothered in sausage gravy -- but she smothered it further with a cup of green chile. I went with the "Simple Breakfast" of two eggs, hash browns, sausage links (which were to die for) and subbed the toast out for a waffle. Boy howdy. The staff are all friendly, attentive and professional. The atmosphere is laid back and rustic, and it's fun to listen to bits of conversation from the locals. The eatery is inside a little shop so the vibe is very granola in the best way. It smells incredible inside. The staff is also so incredibly nice and gave me several recommendations and made it all seem like incredible options. The price point is high, but i'm learning that's just Colorado in general.
