Three cheers for great hot coco
    Dawn K.

Second time five years apart .. the hot coco is still the best. The pancakes are still huge. Everything seemed good. But the place felt tired. So just know it's a small business cafe that is doing their best to stay open - be kind.

The food is less than impressive to the other breakfast spots in town. HOWEVER this is one of the only breakfast spots in town where you will actually sit down and have a server and these people bused their A**!!!! Turkey bacon avocado - the turkey looked like it was pulled out of a grocery store pack. Donut was OLD and tasted as such. Hamburger was good but nothing to write home about. French fries is what we came for and they were delicious!! The cafe is cute and small. Roosters everywhere representing their name. The front door doesn't close on its own so a customer had to keep getting up to close it when exiting customers didn't do it.

The vibes are casual and welcoming, with friendly and efficient service that makes you feel right at home. The food? Absolutely delicious. Everything was cooked to perfection, from the crispy bacon to the fluffy eggs. Warning: the pancakes are HUGE! If you're a pancake lover, you're in for a treat or maybe a challenge.

Great place for some grub! I often chase green chili for breakfast and Roosters Crow didn't disappoint. My breakfast burrito portion was large, service was acceptable and kind, prices reasonable, and we were able to sit outside to stare at the wonderful mountains. (Winter you won't be sitting outside of course.) Ample parking when we arrived and we only had to wait for a little bit. I would always expect to wait a bit, breakfast time on the weekend picks up fast. Worth a stop if you are looking for some food and you are on the main drag. Convenient location as you drive through town.

    Biscuits and gravy to go.

Was famished and got a breakfast order to go due to the COVID. Coffee was good and hot. Rye toast was good even without jams or jellies provided. As a biscuits and gravy connisour, it was naturally an opportunity to partake. It was a mistake. While the biscuits were goodly, the gravy lacked everything that makes a white country sausage gravy palatable. Honestly, it tasted like cream of mushroom soup sparsely laced with canned sausage bits. Perhaps the gravy was from a can. It was not good. I couldn't finish it. Each bite made me cringe a little bit more. Each bite made my pallet awash with thick lukewarm condensed soup-esque mush with porkish flavor. Companion got a vegetarian omelet and enjoyed it. Support local businesses and give it a try. I am sure other things on the menu are good. You'll be glad you did.

Sorry, was hungry. Yummy breakfast of fluffy biscuit, crispy hash browns with a 2 egg omelet topped by unique hollandaise--loved it all!

This place was as sweet as the pie. An excellent example of what America is--we sat outside and enjoyed a beautiful morning brunch with service that went above and beyond. Our food was out quickly but still was fresh, flavorful, and you can tell, though it was served quickly, it was made with time. I love hollandaise (bit of a snob) and even though the pic makes it look a bit broken, it was so good and had its own spin of flavors. Hard to explain how it was both savory and sweet, but I loved it and soaked up every bit with my fluffy biscuit! My wife loved her dish as well--spciy green sauce and simple over easy eggs and bacon. Stop in for a little slice of cinematic diner greatness.

Sausage, egg and potatoes wrapped in tasty tortilla. Yum!

There is almost always a line snaking through the shop to place your order, but the staff is genuinely hustling hard to move people along. Once you get through the queue, you grab your drink and wait for them to call your name from the kitchen. It is a familiar routine for a reliable morning fuel up. Truth be told, this particular visit turned into a bit of a comedy of errors. I ordered a Cool River Burrito with chorizo, but the kitchen lost the ticket entirely. When they finally sorted that out, they failed to pack it to go as requested, so it ended up being a bit of a messy situation overall. To add to the frustration, the outdoor tables were pretty neglected. None of them had been wiped down or cleared, and unfortunately they were the only spots available to sit. Honestly, the food itself usually redeems the bumps in the road. When the burrito did show up, it was tasty and plenty big enough to satisfy a massive appetite, packed full of hearty ingredients and that chorizo punch. The interior space is definitely on the cramped side, but it manages to feel cute and features a nice modern vibe. Despite the logistical hiccups, the crew working the counter is incredibly kind and busting their humps to keep up with the rush. It remains a great, dependable spot to grab breakfast and a solid coffee drink when you are in town.
