I found Station Dental Arvada through the Zodoc App because I was trying to find a highly rated dentist that took my insurance. They were very quick to respond and I was able to get an appointment quickly. Prior to my appointment, they sent me all the forms I needed to complete to speed up the process. I also appreciated that they sent me reminder text messages to ensure that I wouldn't forget my appointment. When I arrived the check-in process was painless and quick. After about 2 minutes in the waiting room I was called in and taken to my designated room. The gentleman who brought me to the room was extremely personable and professional while he explained everything that they would be doing during the visit. He informed me of everything that was covered with the visit and confirmed that I was okay with the pricing as well prior to anything being performed. I was then passed to the hygienist (Katherine I believe) who was so incredibly nice. She made sure that I was comfortable throughout the whole cleaning and was very thorough which I was grateful for. She was very helpful and told me about getting a Sonicare Toothbrush and how it would help with keeping my teeth healthier. She also mentioned that Costco had a deal with them (thank you for that)! Lastly, I met with Dr. Tran who has such a great demeanor. She was very relaxed and calm as she talked to be about my dental health. She went over my x-rays and explained the current status of my teeth and how I can keep them healthy. She was very transparent with what I needed (and didn't) and was sure that I was comfortable with what to expect in future visits. Overall my experience here was top notch. The whole team was extremely thorough with my exam and they made a normally tense environment feel like a day spa. I couldn't have asked for a better experience at a dental office. read more

this is the absolute most unprofessional business i have ever seen... First of all the front staff is an absolute joke! i have tried contacting the front desk on multiple occasions and every time i get a response, is as if im reading what a snobby 17 year old menstruating teenager would text. The lack of professionalism and just courtesy says so much about their business. i tried to make an appointment through the phone and was ignored the whole day, i received a text back later that day about 10 minutes before the were to close, and the text was confirming that I (ME) had put in for a 7 a.m. two weeks in advance. I was LIVID, you see they have done that to me before and said i could not cancel the appointment without a fee being attached. Knowing i already had a fee 0f $85 for missing an appointment time they set for me that would never work with my schedule either considering i work from the hours of ^p.m. to 2a.m or later. once i showed my frustration for this happening to me yet again. i then received another super inappropriate text pretty much stating its my fault and i need to be better about communicating better with them when they ignore me :) bit of a mouthful but all i have to say is DO NOT visit this location. they are always off on time and have long waits even though it is appointment based, so my answer is if you are "late" for an appointment you didn't make and you walk in 20 minutes after and they say they needed to cancel your appointment they made for you that you didn't agree with is now costing you money, when reality is, had i gotten there 5 minutes earlier i still would have to wait for a dentist. also 3.5 stars says something when you have less than 100 reviews, but like i said they care about money and quotas, definitely not their patients!!!! read more

Front office staff is apathetic. Booked on zoc doc last week and got a text to contact them 2 hours before my appointment because apparently they don't accept zoc doc appointments. They have taken a routinely simple task and turned it into a confusing web of no one taking responsibility, offering no clarity, and just overall frustrating experience. They seem to take the business approach of being owned by Private Equity, due to their nonchalant attitude. I have been a customer here for years, but this morning was different from any other visit here. This morning I was sat down by Heather. Her tone was brash and impatient. She shined the overhead light in my eyes BEFORE offering me protective glasses, which has never happened before. Furthermore, she splashed water on my face carelessly and blamed it on the equipment. Dr. Abby Rudnick is seriously the best dentist! She explained my treatment so well, was so gentle and thorough. My husband has seen her for years and highly recommended her. He only trusts her to do his work because she is reasonable about what actually needs to be done. My son is having an extreme dental emergency, screaming and crying in pain. He's not a child, he's 23 years old. He has three cracked teeth. And I'm trying to find a dentist who will use IV anesthesia and also take my insurance. I made one call to Arvada dental center. The lady there was SO gracious, helpful, and amazing. And I made one call to Station dental Arvada. What a joke! I called at 8:45 AM 11/10/24 and could tell immediately that this young lady answering the phone did not want to help me. I was a complete annoyance to her. All I wanted to know is if she takes my insurance. She said if it's a PPO then yes. I told her I don't know that it's a PPO. Could she please check? She told me to "give her a minute", put me on hold for over 15 minutes just to tell me that she can't check and I have to call myself. How interesting. The lady at Arvada dental center was so gracious and checked for me on my behalf so that I don't have to be on hold with an insurance company during our emotional stress with our son in so much pain. I've seen the other reviews about how horrible the front desk is here. BUYER BEWARE! This location is so unprofessional. Let's all hope you have a great experience because heaven forbid, you bring them any negative feedback. This could have been an easy handling but the lack of understanding and compassion from this office speaks volumes. I called just now to let them know my fiancé's visit today was subpar. Instead of showing any concern, I was asked, "OK, but why are you calling?" Desiree should really never work in customer service again. She was rude, dismissive, and interrupted me every chance she got. I'm shocked they have her in a managerial role. Today's visit left my fiance with cuts and scratches all over his mouth. The dentist tools were perched on the edge of his mouth the entire appointment and the suction placed on his gag reflexes. The reason for his visit today was because his real crown was secured with temporary glue and fell out over the weekend. The doctor literally told us, "if you loose it, it's on you to purchase another" This is after this office has charged upwards of $4k on dental work. This place is literally a joke of professionalism. We will be reaching out directly to the regional manager with a full scope of feedback of the past 3 appointments at this location. Pretty tough experience. The dentist told me they pre-ran my insurance, got everything approved, would pay close to the estimated amount. Called me a couple times and hung up as soon I said hello afterwards post-service, then 7 months later sent me a nasty email stating I owed them almost $1000 with no prior communication. They then stated that they didn't communicate with our insurance until afterwards (meaning they lied), "fought" with them for 7 months with no communication to me outside of the "phone calls" they allegedly made. Would not recommend to my least favorite person. Edit: the owners comments on other reviews like mine are even more worrisome. They clearly do not do their due diligence on their end. Stating "estimates." I know what I was told by their office. Their incompetence is now in legendary status in my eyes. Don't bother responding Miranda. Just a terrible, thoughtless, factory of a place. Dr. Abby Rudnick and her wobbly assistant left me with an exposed jaw bone following a botched crown surgery that got infected and resulted in hospitalization and emergency surgery to drain fluids from my head because of their failure to follow up on my concerns that my jaw was exposed. When I first came back to report my concerns about the exposed jaw, Dr. Abby told me I had an "owie" that was a canker sore which should be treated with warm water and salt. I believed her for some reason and a week later I was in the emergency room prepping for surgery as my neck began to swell and swell. The surgeon was able to treat me and keep this from escalating and I spent four days in the hospital screaming in pain. Dr. Abby never called to check in on me and my "owie" though their management team was kind enough to acknowledge that I had a "less than stellar" experience. Obviously this is a matter for my lawyers now but for your own sake, don't go to this horrible place and this clumsy staff and please don't ever trust Dr. Abby Rudnick. If you do see her, know that that the surgeons at Boulder Foothills Community Hospital are incredible and skilled enough save your life from Dr. Abby and her malpracticey ways. read more

I went in to get my teeth cleaned today and left crying. It took 1.5 hours instead of my typical 30 min to 1 hour I was expecting which wasn't great from the start. They had some technical difficulties which is fine, but I felt like I was alone about half of the appointment while they did other things for the practice. This was the most painful cleaning I have ever had. My mom being a dental and orthodontist assistant while I was a kid, she did most of my cleanings but I was still shocked that I was in this much pain. The electric tool they used squirted water everywhere and left my hair wet when I left. This is not an experience I will likely do again. I am giving this dentist a 3/5 because I felt like they were just ok. The staff is super friendly and the office is clean but I just didn't love my dental appointment. We definitely have a difference of opinions on what should have been done on my teeth. A friend who is a dentist in NYC talked my appointment through with me after I left and made me understand why they wanted to give me 4 fillings today- likely due to gum recession and not cavities. This was not explained to me. I go to the dentist every 6 months and no one at my last practice said anything about this, even though I had 2 fillings at my last appointment in the spring with them. The dentist today wanted to rush and do them today which I think is odd- if it had been one due to a cavity I would have obliged but 4 was going to cost me over $500. I don't think they make a bunch of money on fillings so I don't know why they wanted to rush this. All in all this was just an ok experience. Not the best but not the worst. I think I will just go back to seeing my regular dentist going forward though. read more

My wife and I had switched dentists a few years ago after the Dentist that we loved stopped accepting our Delta Dental insurance. We have been going to a dentist in Arvada that I only liked for the sole reason that I was in and out in under 30 minutes. I never left that office feeling like my teeth were clean, however, I always left the office wondering what they were going to charge me. We found Station Dental and I just had my first visit today. It took over an hour, (which I knew it would take based on prior reviews and I was a new patient), and holy cow were my teeth clean. They offer a couple of upgrades, such as the bacteria laser thing and fluoride, but they told me about that when I first walked in and they didn't push it. I got a lecture about my flossing habits (I don't floss :-) ) but they really did a great job. Dr. Abby came in and did her examination and even remembered seeing my wife the prior week. Everything about this place is amazing. Everyone there was incredibly nice, even when telling me about my bad habits. I'm so glad we found this place. read more

No stars this is a terrible place of business. having just done a complete set of Xrays in December 2023 to have my teeth cleaned. I went on 04/24/24 to have my bridge re cemented in as it is getting loose. They said I need another set of Xrays. I have no pain or issues just a loose bridge . I BELIEVE they were trying to pad the bill. Of course my insurance probably wouldn't cover these Xrays since they just had a claim in December. unnecessary. Make sure that you understand your insurance fully. Otherwise, you will be left with additional charges 1 year after the procedure was performed. My bad for thinking that agreeing to a certain copay ($500 per crown) ahead of getting it, will be the only payment. Both my husband got additionally billed after every procedure and cleaning. They must be really bad at estimating their costs... Also, the customer service person was very rude when I brought up these issues. Not going back there. read more

I had been going to Station Dental for 2 years. I made an appointment 6 months in advance (at my last cleaning). During that cleaning, I also referred them 2 new patients. Somehow during that process, my email and phone number were updated in their system to my referrals email and phone number without my knowledge. Fast forward six months, I arrange for early morning child care and arrive at 6:55 am for my 7:00 am appointment - only to find they have given my appointment to someone else because I didn't confirm, AND they want to charge me $50 for canceling! I DIDN'T CANCEL. I SHOWED UP ON TIME FOR MY APPOINTMENT. If I make an appointment, I keep it. And if they hadn't mixed up my contact information on their end, I would have confirmed like always. Now I am missing out on my second dental appointment of the year (when insurance only allows them every 6 months), arranged child care for nothing, and have to find a new dentist. Unprofessional, I made an appointment with them and kept it. They were too unprofessional to hold up their end of the bargain. I was telling everyone who would listen how great you were. I was booked for 80 minutes according to front desk for my wisdom teeth removal.(All 4) The surgeon was done within 30 minutes, and I just remember the dental assistant dragging me out as if they were in a hurry. Why be in a hurry if I'm booked for 80 minutes? Currently on day 4 since removal, and something was really bugging my gum. I asked my husband to check, and guess what it was? A CHUNK OF TOOTH!! TAKE YOUR TIME! How disrespectful and rude to charge $1,800+ for this procedure just so you can be rushed and still have to find a chunk of wisdom tooth! I am disgusted by the service and quality. I should have gotten paid for removing the remaining piece of tooth. I will be calling to cancel my next appointment. read more

Very annoyed! I was supposed to be seen Monday 6/1/2020 and that appointment was rescheduled for the following Monday at 11:30 but got emails and texts that it was at 2. I noticed a complete change in dental staff and they don't do a great job. The gentleman who did my temporary crown was asking the assistant questions the whole time and talking about how he still had to shadow other dentists! It did not exactly fill me with confidence. I absolutely have dentist anxiety and this place is amazing. They are informative and gentle with their words and actions. I have gone twice now and have seen 4 different people. I think all of them have been wonderful! I plan on sticking with them as my main dental provider, even though they are about a 20 minute drive from where I live. It's worth it!
