I was annoyed about the extra time this took out of my schedule but shook it off as a one time inconvenience. Now my family of 5 are established patients. I try to get all 3 kids and myself in at the same time. Again, trying to minimize my time off work. Issue A: They are either way overbooked or closed far too often for the amount of patients they see. We've never been able to get on a 6 month cycle of cleanings. Need to be seen ASAP... not a chance. Issue B: We've been rescheduled multiple times. Its never we'd love to get you in sooner, if it works for us. Its always "We have to cancel your appointment and would like to reschedule in an additional month. I think Dr. Ganong spent less than a minute in the room during my first 2 check-ins and the concerns I raised were ignored or treated dismissively. I was not given important information when I started, even as basic as how to clean the aligners!!! Months were added to my plan because I had to do "refinements" to try to undo the terrible looking changes he made to my teeth against my wishes and in opposition to what he told me he was doing. He literally lied to my face about how much my upper teeth would be moved forward and down. In appointments, I felt pressured to agree to plans I did not like or understand. He only offered the "refinements" after I wrote an email with my concerns. I guess having something in writing made him pay attention. He didn't respond well, calling me rude and "combative against treatment." Sorry if it's hard to be cheerful when I've not been heard for months and my treatment is taking longer and longer and looked terrible, and the information I'm given is very brief and uninformative. He even complained about me refusing processes that were never presented and weren't mentioned AT ALL during my initial set of aligners. That caught me off guard and seemed unprofessional. Medical professionals should treat patients with respect, not ignore them, or undermine them, and actually spend time at scheduled appointments to answer questions, instead of making it seem like questions are not allowed. Important information should be provided. It seems like he pushes Invisalign to maintain a status as a provider but once you sign the paperwork and the payment, you're just an inconvenience.

I called their emergency line and Dr. Tom called me back immediately and told me to come in first thing in the morning and he would take care of me. I was in so much pain that night I took a sleeping pill and overslept - Dr. Tom was very understanding and worked me into his very busy schedule - his office was slammed, and I was the moron that missed getting there early yet he was kind, gracious and understanding as was his entire staff. I am TERRIFIED of dentists but Dr. Tom put me at ease. He made sure to numb me up as much as possible and HE thanked ME for getting through the procedure. No, thank YOU Dr. Tom! I didn't have any of my insurance cards with me but Preston at the front desk went out of his way to track down the information and put it all through the system. Everyone who works there is wonderful. I was nearly in tears and everyone went out if their way to be gentle, patient and helpful. I'm having a very hard time believing the negative reviews previously written. First of all, both reviewers have like 1 or 2 reviews total...seems fake to me. Probably a competitor trying to bring their star average down. Take my word for it...this is a fabulous practice. My future mother and father in law are happy patients of this office and they were the ones who referred me. My concerns are with the office's insurance and administrative department, namely, Carolina, which was exceptionally rude and abrasive towards me and did not perform her job professionally, which caused me extreme stress and discomfort from lack of the proper dental care because she would not submit my claims properly. Because of her incompetency, she took this out against me and initially blamed the software they were using stating that it would not submit my claims. After waiting months for this to be done properly and calling her to ask what was going on, she became excessively rude and nasty with me for asking that she process thiscorrectly. She always wanted to blame somebody else for what she could not do as required by her job. I have never met somebody so unprofessional and acrimonious as this individual. Then she tried to shift the blame on me for my attitude due to her totally incompetency. Over several months, I was repeatedly told that my primary insurance was inactive when it was actually active. I also experienced delays in having insurance claims submitted and received inconsistent information regarding the status of my claims. On multiple occasions, I was told someone would return my phone call, but weeks passed without any response. These ongoing administrative problems delayed my dental treatment, prolonged my dental pain, and caused significant stress and frustration. At one point, I had to seek treatment from another dental office because I could not get the insurance issues resolved. When I attempted to ask questions about my insurance or request copies of my dental records, I felt that my concerns were not addressed. Instead, I was repeatedly interrupted during phone conversations and found the interactions to be unprofessional and discouraging. When I asked for a copy of my dental records, she stated if I came in the office, they would call the police. I understand that mistakes can happen, but this was a recurring pattern over an extended period despite my repeated attempts to resolve the issues. I sincerely hope the office improves its insurance and patient communication processes so that future patients do not experience the same delays and frustration that I did. Repeated unprofessionalism in route treatment of this dental office by the staff is totally unacceptable. I would avoid this office completely because they do not process your information correctly, and the staff is very abrasive and acrimonious.
