If you're looking for a clean, modern apartment with kind, responsive staff + maintenance crew, look no further! This was my first move after college, and I was super nervous about finding the right apartment, especially being a black woman in the Pacific Northwest. Station House was one of my first finds, but little did I know it'd be my last! I'm SO glad I moved here, and it's honestly starting to feel like a second home. The apartments, hallways, and lounge areas are all very clean, sleek, and modern. I'm really picky about my space, and I personally love it here. There's a cute movie room, a kitchen for lounge parties, an upstairs pool table area, and a few work spaces. I live in a large open one bedroom, and it's the perfect size for one person that wants a cozy but sizable apartment. There are smaller options of course, larger options, and then there are the lofts on the first floor which are gorgeous! Everyone on staff here is incredibly kind and very quick to address any needs or concerns. Maintenance requests are easy to put in and they also respond pretty quickly, especially in emergencies. The resident portal as a whole (for payments + any requests) is easy to use overall. The mail system is very easy to use and my packages never get lost. The neighborhood overall is smooth, no real disturbances in the area and feels very safe. And finally, everyone I've met here (the community, my neighbors) are super kind! It's a very warm and friendly environment, and very quiet once you're in the apartment. I don't think I've ever experienced a noise disturbance. The *only* downside for my more active folks is that the gym is pretty small, but otherwise, I love it here!!!!! I'd recommend it to anyone. read more

The management in this place is scam. They keep you sending false bills after moving out every year. Forget about getting back your deposit; they will never return back to you not even 0.1 percent what you paid and they will keep sending you the bill that claiming for extra money they spent to clean the apartment. This is a scam that I have never seen anywhere. They charge you extra in your parking, water, et. They are rude. The place is dirty, extremely noisy, horrible maintenance. expect for your car breakdown inside the garage. Safety is a big issue. Multiple times I found homeless sleeping at night in the lobby. read more

She patiently answered all my questions, gave me a thorough walk-through of the entire building, and was so easy to talk to, making the process smooth and stress-free. During the tour, Angie noticed some water near the in-unit laundry. Without skipping a beat, she promptly had Erwin, the amazing maintenance professional, come out to check and ensure everything was in perfect working order. The building itself is nice but the management team is completely ineffective. My neighbor will blast music into our shared wall and vibrate my entire living room nearly every day from the hours of 9am-midnight. Despite my notices and complaints, the management team has done nothing to fix this despite it being a direct violation of their lease. I have lived in quieter apartment buildings in Capitol Hill. I would give my experience here 1 star but the cleaning lady is the nicest person I have ever met. read more

My wife and I were residents of Station House for 9 months and the experience made us never want to rent again. We ended up breaking our lease, which costed us dearly but it wasn't worth it for us to stay. When we originally signed our lease with former Leasing Managers, James & Hart, we couldn't have asked for a better customer service experience. They were prompt, polite and always followed up on any questions or concerns accordingly. However, our new "Managers" who now oversee the property are quite literally the opposite and leave a lot to be desired. The primary Manager, Ciara who rarely makes herself available won't even take her eyes off of her computer screen while speaking with you. There is absolutely zero accountability from the leasing office or acknowledgment of concerns from residents. You would be lucky to receive a response. While living at Station House, we were billed incorrectly and overcharged for rent about every other month, which we had to request be corrected each time. The resident portal was never updated on time with actual billing amounts and often had issues preventing you from being able to pay all together. Reservations for the lounge and shared spaces which were supposed to be managed online were never reflected accurately. On one occasion, we invited a number of guest over and the shared space ended up being "double booked". Although there were no official reservations on file, we were asked to leave even though we rightfully occupied the space prior to the other group arriving. When we communicated this to management, the response we received was along the lines of "tough luck". Other things like amenities for dog areas and the gym were just about always out as well. The feeling you get from Management is that they don't care about you or anything else for that matter. They just want your money and will bill you at any chance possible. Parking is not included with any unit and will cost you $170 for a compact spot which will barely fit a regular-size sedan. Dog rent is an additional $50/month (on top of a pet deposit and fees amounting ~$600). When we moved out, we were charged an additional cleaning fee of $150 (taken from our deposit) which was never disclosed on the lease agreement. If that wasn't enough, we were also charged an ADDITIONAL $465 for "damaging the floor", even after we provided photo & video evidence (including date/time) of it not being there when we returned our keys to the leasing office. We were also not prorated for moving out early, go figure. If you're looking for a new apartment, Station House offers a nice space (although expensive) but save yourself the headache. There are many better options in the area with adults who manage and know how to work with people. read more

When we moved from Veloce apartments we checked almost all of the apartments in Redmond and no any other apartment gave me a strong reason to move out from Veloce until I came to the Station House. Station House is definitely one of the best apartments in Redmond. Everything is new and shiny plus open floor plans with huge windows and amazing views. We are going to live there until we will buy our own house. Yes, it is a bit pricey, but you pay for the feeling of a modern and luxury home place that is important for me. The office team is cool and help to solve any problems in minutes. Huge two levels party room with a backyard for dogs and grill stations. Cmon no any other apartment in Redmond can offer you something like that. Definitely, recommend to come and ask for a tour if you want to live in downtown Redmond. Alright, I'm ready to give it 5 stars, but one thing stop me from that. The price for the electric car parking spot is $200 when a regular car parking spot price is $125. It is ridiculous because that price makes no sense to buy an electric car because that amount of money that I want to save on gas I will have to spend just for a parking spot. I don't understand why, because if I will charge an electric car every day during the month that will cost me just $25 for electricity. Why electric car owner has to pay $75 more than a regular car owner? Because he can afford Nissan Leaf that cost 2 times cheaper than most cars in the building's garage or because he wants to go green and save the planet? From other sides this place is perfect. read more

My wife and I moved to Seattle in February from out of country and had a lot to adjust to. Our temporary housing was with Station House and our first impressions were great. We didn't want to stall in our search for a permanent residence, but we didn't end up going far. Tatyana and Pierre were each very welcoming and showed us around the building to make sure we knew all the amenities- since we'd just moved in a few days prior- and to show off a few different apartment types. We honestly tried really hard to make sure we saw everything around town, but ultimately our best fit was an apartment just a few doors away on the same floor. I think everyone's aesthetic is their own personal flair, but what honestly kept us in Station House was all the people. I've been able to get to know every single on-site employee and they are all amazing. I've felt very comfortable approaching them any time I've needed assistance or just to talk. Olivia has been instrumental in helping my family get-to-know the area. She has been the source for a lot of my favorite favorite restaurants and sources for places to be outdoorsy around the area. I moved into the building when it was fairly new and employees were helpful in letting me know. New buildings tend to have minor things needing touched up fairly early on. I've encountered a bit of this but Jake, Jacob, and Dante have all be very responsive and forthcoming on anything I've reported. The only issue of any significance I've had was I used to hear some noise from the neighboring apartment, but the neighbors were friendly about it and Laina ultimately worked out a solution. Overall, the sound proofing is actually impeccable and apparently the apartment on the other side of me is not vacant as I'd previously thought. With all the good, there must be some that can be improved. The media room can get warm in the summer because of the full wall windows. The same can be said for the gym which is a bit on the small side. Overall, I'd definitely recommend Station House. read more

I've lived in four different states and Station House has been the worst place I've lived so far in the US. Most reviews you see on StationHouse are from folks who stay here for just a year or so. Though I wanted to move after my first year was up, COVID and my family situation forced us to continue here. As a result, I've been a Station House resident for a little bit over 2 years now, so I've seen and experienced what the "real" Station House is like. Let me start with what's good about it: location, and the maintenance staff. James and Shane are absolutely fantastic. Unfortunately, the good things end there, and now begins a long list of negatives. Here they are in no particular order: - The management only cares about money. After the first year, the management squeezes you with ridiculous rent hikes; they just don't value residents, we are simply their cash cows. We were saved only by Gov. Inslee's moratorium prohibiting rent increases. Month-to-month is an additional 40% premium. The reason why most of the reviews on Station House are glowing is because of the move-in specials. We were provided a 10 week free move-in special, otherwise we would have never moved in here. - Parking is day light robbery. A "compact" spot, which won't even fit a compact without dinging the car next to it, is $150 per month. It used to be $110 in 2020. More recently built places charge less than that for a bigger parking spot. It's as if they were waiting so badly for Gov. Inslee's moratorium to end so that they could jack up the pricing on everything. Their parking pass is a "decal" for which you get charged $40 per vehicle. They want you to stick it on your vehicle, and return it upon moving out or pay an additional $40! - The office staff changes every couple of months. Since I moved in, I've seen about 4 or 5 entirely different staff (including the building manager and front office staff). This makes it very difficult to build any rapport with the staff. Some of the staff have been pretty rude (e.g., I've seen one rebuke kids for playing in the hallway). - Their pandemic response has been the worst in the area. Even after repeated requests, they didn't have hand sanitizers in common areas until quite late in 2020. During the first wave just before everything shut down, they didn't even replace the cleaning wipes in the gym citing shortages. It got so worse that I had to stop using the gym. - As soon as the pandemic shutdown happened in early 2020, they locked down all the amenities in the apartment: the gym, the coffee machines, etc. Well and good. However, even when the restrictions were relaxed in 2021, they were the last to restore them. Some of these amenities still have not been restored. The coffee machines are gone. - The fire alarm in every apartment and common areas used to go off every few months during 2019, 2020 and early 2021. The fire department had to come every time to fix it. It was pretty bad, and residents were expected to go out till the fire department fixed them (the sound was unbearable). Hopefully it is fixed now, it has not repeated in the last few months. - Any common amenities, outside the control of the apartment maintenance staff, take a long time to fix if they become faulty. We've had incidents where the hot water went out, and it took them multiple weeks to fix it. They would shut down the water supply for the entire day (happened more than once) without an alternative and didn't even bother to update the residents. Same situation with the package room. - When we moved in, we were told that the utilities are never more than $100, but I don't remember paying less than $150 during my stay here. Note that this is *excluding* electricity, which easily is another $100 during winter. To add to the insult, they signed up with Conservice, a utility management company that charges you $5 every month to "send" you an email. read more

Team Station House is incredible and they provide stellar service which allows your living experience to be spectacular! The leasing team are so sweet and nice and work hard to ensure that all your needs are met. I loved my one bedroom apartment with peaceful views of trees and it felt like a sanctuary. From my day of move-in and for all the plans leading up towards my end of stay, they have been great! I went to look to rent this place at the beginning of the Covid-19. I asked the property person if there was a parking spot and she said yes, I asked how much and she told me. I then went to look at the unit. It was not a bad place, no parking area except in the garage unit. Mind you, this downtown Redmond. I then went home and applied and paid the application fee and processing fee of over $350. You have to pay first to even see if you are qualified. I have never heard of this and I have lived in several large cities and I guess I have never rented in a huge complex. After I applied and paid my fee they tell me oh sorry we don't have a parking spot at this time you can be on a waitlist. You can park on the street. I am like ok..... I have already paid the NON REFUNDABLE FEE. so I said let me think about this a minute. I have a brand new Mercedes and opted not to go further. I also saw that they had a big courtyard on the website and touted they were big on being pet friendly. I was not allowed to walk around the building amenities because if the Covid and was unaware that the pets are not be allowed in the courtyard. I have an ESA pet and the said oh he can go out there but can't go to the bathroom out there or off leash as it is not meant for dogs. I then said I am sorry I am not going forward with this as it was not explained to me before I paid them. They refused to give me my money back. They said sorry we don't give application fees back ever! I could not believe this as for one I was not told the truth and they would say anything at the time to fill the apartments. Especially during the Covid knowing it was all virtual to look at the space! I would never recommend this company to anyone. read more
