I came in with shoulder pain looking for answers, and after seeing Dr. Karim I feel like winning the lottery would be a distant second in terms of such luck. With a hospitable tone that could put a screaming baby down and equipment that is literally used by the Los Angeles Dodgers - I can only recommend this to anyone with a brain. Dr. Shaw made me feel confident about the procedure and prepped me both mentally and physically for it. On surgery day he checked in and again I felt he was the best doctor for this procedure. Everything went exceptionally well. I followed his instructions and had no issues. No infection, or ugly scarring. Of course there was pain during recovery but I just kept working with the in house physical therapy team which I also highly recommend and kept my follow up appointments. Matthew Frydendall is awesome he took the time to really listen to my concerns and always made me feel like my care and recovery were of utmost importance. Both Esther and Melissa at the from desk were extremely helpful and always brought a smile to my face when I interacted with them. This was a difficult journey but I'm to a point in my recovery where I can see how this entire process has dramatically improved my quality of life now and for many years to come. I can't imagine having to go through knee replacement without this phenomenal doctor and his entire team!! I highly recommend Dr. Shaw, Matthew, and the entire team at AO in Chino Hills. PS. It was nice to have some conversation while trying to work through the pain I was going through. Neil was another trainer I worked with that ensured I was getting the treatment needed but not overdoing it. I'm very grateful to have both these trainers during my therapy sessions. I also want to say that Eric's manner with patients is very personable which is hard to come by. He will check in with you during and after your sessions to make sure the therapy is right for you and will give you tips of what you do at home to help with your progress. After going to another Physical Therapy office through Pomona Valley Medical, I wasn't really happy with the treatments/sessions I was getting so decided to try this place out. It is close to my home and accepted my insurance. My PT is Dr. Leanne and she is great! Not only is she a super nice person, but she's an awesome PT. The treatments she provided and stretching exercises she gave me have really helped! I am happy to report that I haven't felt numbness in my arm for a while now and I didn't get numb the last time I used the elliptical machine or ran! Yay! I still have a few more sessions scheduled, but she has already really made a difference in my comfort with my daily activities. Highly recommend!

I was referred here by Kaiser, I believe it would have been cheaper to pay their hourly rate and not go through my insurance, somehow I was billed more than there advertised rates. Also, I've paid all my bills but randomly they will send me bills saying I still owe money. I just received another bill in September for something I paid in June. They always say it's a mistake but will continue to send me random bills. I'm sure lots of people just pay without doing the research. So if you do go here watch the bills because they will try to rip you off.

Let me go through each of the following: +Dr. Shah: Dr. Shah is really cool; he introduced himself to me as Dr. Jay, and we are from the same home town, age, and have a similar life background in terms of moving around from the Bay to LA! It was great having that rapport since it was my first time meeting him. But most of all, the best thing was that he ordered multiple tests to help me get to the bottom of my abdominal issues that I have been struggling with for more than half my life! After going to the ER a few times and finding nothing major in my CT scan, I was worried he would dismiss my stomach issues, BUT he did the opposite thing and helped me with diagnosing multiple potential problems. I REALLY APPRECIATE IT!! I feel like I can breathe a sigh of relief and finally get to the root cause of all my abdominal issues! This has not been the case with previous providers...(hence why I switched). THANKS, DR. SHAH! Oh also, Dr. Shah is funny; he made a funny joke on his business card lol. I experienced no wait (I was even seen EARLY). WOW. Everything was prompt, efficient, and thoroughly explained! I also appreciated how I received discharge papers with such details documented and on my labwork, there were even specific instructions on what I should avoid taking before the bloodwork. I was also told in detail about fasting. My previous provider did not do that! Overall, it has been a wonderful experience so far with this provider and clinic! I am so happy because it is very close to where I live too. Feels like a dream come true to finally have a great doctor and experience with a physician's office! Ryan immediately started diagnosing my issue, traced pain points, and could tell i was frustrated w my lack of progress at other places . he got right to work and started a holistic and hands-on approach that i had been looking for . what was most impressive is how the team moves like a well-oiled machine . ur never really inactive for more than a couple of minutes . they use a timer system for different treatment cycles, and they vary for ur specific needs . what is great is that one timer goes off, and a new team never shows up to transition u from ur previous treatment to the next pretty seamlessly . i can tell they put a lot of effort and passion into their program, and i'm a convert . no bad things to say ! don't wait, tbh
