You can have coffee and hot chocolate anytime, and they have food they can warm up for you. I had been in Spain for 5 days eating yummy tapas but having Hong-style noodles was what I wanted - perfect! I borrowed a hair dryer too. Everything was so well thought out for your comfort, and it sure beats sleeping on an uncomfortable airport chair or trying to figure out the train into London when you are tired and just want to have somewhere to shower and lay down in comfort for awhile.

The front concierge (Marta) was really helpful and was quick to offer me the free hot chocolate and coffee which was really necessary for me! Although I don't want to have another 15 hour layover, if I were to ever have one again, I would definitely stay at yotel again! It's reasonably priced and sure beats sleeping at the terminal!

It's a little on the pricey side as you are paying for convenience and a moderate to higher end hotel. the location is located within the outskirts of terminal 5, by the car port/bus station. There's a connected walkway and takes about 10 min (walking at a leisurely pace and waiting for the elevator) to get from hotel to the trains. The hotel is quiet large. The room is nice, spacious (especially for London) and serves it's purpose. The front desk was non stop busy with tourists, families, solo travelers and business people coming or going throughout the day. If you need a nice, safe, clean, convenient place while in London for a short stay and are flying out of LHR, this is a solid place. It's in terminal 5 so departures are right there. If you are flying out of another terminal (2, 3 or 4) it's a quick free train ride.

Well spaced tables mean you don't have to yell to be heard & it's still cosy. Nice view too. Our food selection was well catered because I had 3 vegetarians in the group as well as 1 who doesn't eat cucumbers. Seamless service & we didn't get rushed out either. We'll defo come back! Thanks to the entire staff at The Terrace for making us feel so welcome.

The hostess greeted me so warmly and said I can do the modified version and it would just be about 6 British Pounds. A whole tea service usually costs at least 30 pounds in most places. The waitress, Martinou, delivered me excellent service. I only wanted one scone but she gave me 4, plus the clotted cream and jam and a little cake. I was literally treated like a queen there. She boxed up the remaining scones and threw in some extra tea bags to take home. She gave a coupon to come back, but unfortunately it was my last day in London. I would love to go there again.

The lobby is small, but it does have a restaurant. It has an elevator. The room was a little small but comfortable. The shower and bathroom were great. It had a coffee machine and a mini fridge. The mini fridge had complementary drinks, soda, water, beer and wine. The staff were excellent. We were able to check in when we got there at 9 AM. They helped us with directions and answer any questions we had. I would definitely stay here again!

The large bowl-shaped sink takes up most of the counter so you are forced to squeeze in your stuff uber and around the bowl. Sadly, the faucet BARELY makes it over the edge of the bowl so when you wash your hands, water goes everywhere and ends up spreading around the counter and gets your toiletries wet! Ugh!! That one detail is definitely not up to the normal Hotel Indigo standard in my opinion. Whoever designed the bathroom should never be hired again! This should be a 3 star review based on that. But.... The saving grace was the front desk and the maintenance guy. We quickly discovered that our safe didn't work. The front desk got the maintenance guy to our room quickly and he reset it. When we were ready to leave, it failed again so they summoned the maintenance guy again. He reset it but it failed again. So he proceeded to replace the safe. Those things are HEAVY!!! The poor guy had to lug it up from downstairs, unbox it, take out the old one, install the new one and then lug the old one back downstairs!! This guy was sweating profusely but handled everything so professionally. So kudos to him and the front desk for making this happen so quickly, thus the 4 stars!!

From a Boutique Hotel perspective this place is pretty A-OK!…read more 1- Location: Good. Only a few blocks from Hyde Park, the central and district tube lines, and Paddington is about 10 min walking. 2- The place: is an old Victorian building on a very pleasant street. Doesn't have elevators so be sure you can walk up your luggage. 3- A few perks: 24h reception, breakfast (not included but very fair), bathroom amenities and a comfy bed. I had a few specific problems with my stay, due to a storm the whole fourth floor had damages and they had to transfer us to another hotel, but they took care of this extra reservation and a cab to transfers us from/to the temporary location. Also, someone smoked in the corridor and this made the fire alarm go on at 4:30 am. I would like to say this is a very sensitive smoke alarm, but by any means, is better to be safe than sorry. It's a fair place if you want to be in West London and not spend a lot.

The toilet struggled to flush and the shower pressure is definitely low by American standards, and frankly low by modern UK hotel standards, but just about adequate. Convenient to the hotel is a Tesco express supermarket located just across the street. Unfortunately, the rooms do not have fridges, which would've been very useful as I really needed a cold drink to compensate for the lack of air-conditioning! That said, I was able to stay for £91 including breakfast, which is definitely fair value for what I received. But if they are asking more premium rates, I would suggest looking at the more modern Hilton properties nearby.

In the US, Doubletrees are known to be very upscale and employees are very polished and bend over backwards to make you feel at home. Here, it felt like management is extremely stingy and frugal. Towels are reluctantly. Can we please have more than two? Amenities like shampoo and conditioner are not replaced. But they'll give me two body washes though! During our stay, they didn't stock bar soap for the body, only facial soap. I took it as the owners being cheap and just ordering one kind of soap for their guests. They'll give you ONE cookie upon check in. (Hello, there are two of us?) I guess I'm just used to Doubletrees in California where they'll give you two every time you ask! Okay, that's fine. We don't need to eat too many cookies anyways. :P Rooms are small but that's probably a European thing. Us Americans can be spoiled with big rooms in the US. My husband's Hilton Honors status got us free breakfast in the mornings. Breakfast was good but the dining area and the lack of bussing tables was appalling. Of the 2-3 days we had breakfast, there was always about 10 tables filled with dirty dishes. The three employees we saw working just didn't seem to care. I think part of the problem is they try to clear a table and carry as many dishes as they can with their two hands. Don't they have some kind of plastic container or cart to help them clear tables like we see in other establishments? The lack of bussing tables in this dining room was totally unprofessional. The location of the hotel is pretty good. Close to the Heathrow Airport. There's a bus stop a few steps outside that will take you to the Underground (subway) system to get on the Picadilly line. There's a Domino's and a Kebab restaurant nearby. Our favorite was the Tesco Express supermarket across the street. Such a cute grocery store to stock up. Great prices too. Meh. Maybe under different management this place would be better.

I pre booked ahead of time for a 5 hour window. Was money well spent. I fell asleep almost immediately after my long flight. Bed was comfy, there was enough storage space for what I had brought, and everything was clean. Thankfully, Yotel rents by the hour (minimum 4 hours). You can reserve ahead or pop up on the day of and see if they have any available rooms. Max capacity of the rooms is only 2 people. Kids over 5 count as a guest, so if you are traveling with a kid or more, you'll probably need 2 rooms. To my knowledge, they do not have connecting rooms. We got two queen rooms. The beds are comfortable, and there's a decent rain shower in the bathroom. The rooms are not completely noise proof, but we were certainly more comfortable there than in the lounges or restaurants for so many hours. That was a good use of money, in my opinion. I'll happily use their services again if I find myself in a similar situation.
