We stayed at this hotel while attending a Bruno Mars concert. Check-in was frustrating because we were told our room wasn't ready and that we would receive a call when it was available, but no one ever contacted us. When we returned later, the room was still not ready. The manager seemed stressed and the check-in process felt unorganized. On the positive side, the buffet was amazing, the breakfast was great, and the room was pretty clean once we finally got in. I usually stay at Marriott properties but wanted to venture out and booked a room at this Staybridge. If you have pets or travel with pets, this place might be ideal for you! I'm highly allergic to dogs and cats, and I didn't realize this hotel was so pet-friendly. I had an allergic reaction the first night, coughed heavily, took my inhalers and Benadryl and thought I could get through the night. Jessica at the front desk was helpful when I asked to be moved to a room that didn't have pet visitors, but she said there are no rooms like that. Pets are allowed in all rooms. She had housekeeping clean my room, vacuum, and change the air filters. Unfortunately, I continued to cough and needed meds all week, and just limited my time in the room as much as possible, which was only to sleep as I'm at work all day. In retrospect, I should have changed hotels. I'm grateful to Jessica for her help though. On the plus side, loved the pool and hot tub, although guests smoke outside so that's rough if you are sensitive to smoke. Breakfast was very nice. Free, plentiful, nutritious. And there's a soda fountain at the breakfast bar with Diet Coke, which I can't get at Marriott properties. Jason at check-in was especially friendly and welcoming. A good stay, except for the allergic reaction. I won't stay here again for that reason, but if you aren't allergic to pets this is a fun option with a great pool and free hot breakfast! read more

Lady S does not appreciate raucous, rowdy pool play and impolite water sports. If she wanted to witness pubescent boys frolicking in a pseudo-public pool, a trip to the Y would be planned. Horseplay belongs on the polo fields and other equestrian activities. What did I expect, one asks, staying in such mediocre quarters? NOT THIS. Like Kimpton Hotels, one of the Lady's favorite boutique, pet-friendly and encouraged stays, this mediocre chain belongs to the Intercontinental Hotel Group (IHG), a British multinational overseeing properties and resorts everywhere. The IHG brand and experience (plus dog friendly quarters) lured her here. The hotel experience is only really as good as the guests, ongoing human reminders of everything cool, chic, hip, happening (or not). In this case, NOT. Sure, the "suites" try ... but scream poseur! Likewise, the "dining room" is really an all you can eat cafeteria buffet stuffed with unhealthy, processed food and hefty hotel guests acting as if they haven't eaten in weeks, when clearly, these gargantuan guests have never, ever missed a meal-- especially here! I mean, how many waffles can one woman eat? Lady counted 12. Fried eggs and hashbrowns notwithstanding. read more

Where to begin, we arrived for a late checkin and front desk had everything ready for us including a beautifully hand written welcome card! That was a first for me! The small details is what put this place over the top for us. We booked a 2 bd suite and was beyond surprised to see that each room had its own bathroom, needless to say our daughter was beyond ecstatic about this! the room was super clean and the beds were comfy!! We stayed a full weekend so we got to enjoy the amazing complimentary breakfast spread they offered! It was top notch!!! With a waffle station, fresh fruit, bagels, toast, cereals, hot breakfast foods....they had it all! The room also offered a full kitchenette so you can also cook your own meals if you choose to. The staff was all extremely kind and amazing! So thankful! The pool was fabulous and we noticed they also had fire pits to enjoy sitting outside. The hotel is located in the middle of everything so we had a ton of things to do! This will definitely be our go to place every time we visit AZ! Thank you so much Staybridge!! read more

My husband is a platinum member and we enjoy staying at this chain of hotels. This place is amazing. The staff is so professional, helpful and friendly. The complementary shuttle from the hotel to the stadium is wonderful. The shuttle driver was very pleasant and easy going. Continental breakfast was very good. Our room had a kitchen, island sitting area, sofa, two tables with lots of chairs. We loved all the space available in our room. We highly recommend this hotel. Our only concern was the elevator away from the main entrance. A family who was also staying there warned us not to take that elevator that at one point the elevator dropped abruptly and scared their children. Well, we honestly thought they were exaggerating, until we used the elevator previously mentioned and OMG it scared the heck out of us. It traveled to the 4th floor then it abruptly/forcefully stopped with a loud screeching thump! Pretty scary. Needless to say, we only used the front entrance elevator thereafter. My mother in law volunteered to come out for a weekend so that the wife and I could have a weekend to ourselves. We had some rewards points and decided to book this hotel for a night. Meh.....wish we had saved the points! The Good - Check In. Front desk lady was very nice. - Free parking. Tons of spaces, right near the entrance/elevator. - Free wifi. Good connection the whole time here. - Bathroom. Nice bathroom with Paul Mitchell toiletries. - Pillows. Comfy and plush pillows. - Popcorn. They provide a bag of microwave popcorn in the room, for free. We popped it and watched a movie on HBO. Small thing, but a nice gesture and we appreciated it. - Location. Right off the 101, across the street from Westgate, behind Cabelas. The Bad - Broken closet door upon check in. Didn't make any difference really, but if something is broke, fix the damn thing. It was off its hinges, laying against the wall of the closet. Could be a hazard if little kids were in the room and pulled on it. - Value. We used 25,000 points on this room, and it was maybe worth 10,000 points. There wasn't anything special about the room, it was not in a "hot, hip location" or anything like that. I wish we would have spent our points on a different hotel. The Ugly - The bed. Holy mother of GOD! We got a room, and it had a Queen bed in it. Usually, if you get a room with 2 beds, they are queens, 1 bed, and its a King. Not here! I swear that it was smaller than a queen too. Closer to a full, than a queen from what it seemed. And it was uncomfortable as FUCK! Both me and the wife thought it was the worst bed we have EVER slept on. I might have got a total of 2 hours of sleep all combined. Every 30 minutes or so, I would have to adjust myself or roll over to try to get comfy. Never happened. Lame. Would I stay here again? If it was like $50.00 a night, maybe. The value just wasn't there, and that bed was flat out horrible! Meh! read more

Stayed last night, and I'm torn about what to write. The room was $175 on a Thursday night, so let's just get that out of the way. The door to my room wouldn't close and latch all the way. This would be a deal breaker for anyone else, particularly guests with children or valuables. But seeing how I had neither of those, this was a quick one-night stay and the area isn't exactly sketchy, I obliged to just eat it and avoid the fuss. There's a dead-bolt just in case and the night passed without incident. Something inside the building/property sounds like a muffled jet engine and I'm assuming it's whatever generates power for the entirety of the AC units. But yeah, it's a near-constant vibration. I get it, it's Arizona and 100 degrees even at night, do what you gotta do... but I literally had to keep my AC on just to dullen the sound, and I usually keep my room (and home) at 80°. Property was fairly clean, possibly recently renovated, but you can tell wear and tear is still fighting it. Looks nice from the street, but gets more flawed the more time you spend inside it. Bed was comfy, pillows were plush and linen was clean. That might've been what kept me from hitting the local strip club and blowing $300, or maybe it was the fact that my door wouldn't latch shut while I was gonna be gone from it. Either way, kind of a money-saving win, if not by total accident. Final verdict: for $175/night I expected much better. I assume location and having a property near the stadium, arena, Westgate, etc only embolden them in charging this price. Room, however slick and even with a fully functioning door, is worth maybe $125/night tops. read more

Everyone watch out for Jason. A front desk employee. He has been extremely rude since the moment I walked in. He has complained about my own mother to me on multiple occasions which is strange and very unprofessional. He repeatedly told me my room was ready and then told me it was not ready and couldn't figure out why. He moved my room all around, couldn't get me check in until 4 and then make me feel VERY uncomfortable even walking through the lobby. He is probably better suited for a job that is not customer service related. Interacting with humans is not his speciality. read more

Customer service here is definitely top notch. They go our of their way to make your stay a positive experience. We had just drove about 11 hrs straight from California, overnight and really needed a nap, so we called the hotel to see if we could check in early (7:15 am'ish) -- they checked to see if rooms were available, and they were so we were able to get in early. Free breakfast buffet was on, so we quickly grabbed a bite to eat first, and then headed to our room. The rooms are very spacious, and beautiful. Our room was a One Queen Bed, Jr. Suite. Nice kitchen area with utensils, pots, plates, glasses, fridge, stove, and even a dishwasher!! Couch in the sitting area near the tv. Full bath/shower combo, with sink just outside of bathroom, and a large closet. High ceilings also, which adds to the spacious feel. On day #2 we slept in, and missed the free breakfast by about 20 mins... So, my husband called down to confirm what time breakfast ended. He was told that breakfast had ended, and they hung up. Within a few minutes the guy at front desk called our room to ask if we would like him to put together some items for us to eat from the kitchen. OMG, how nice is that!?! So we still scored some free breakfast AND got to sleep in! We were VERY impressed that Oscar went out of his way for us. The pool area was beautiful, with a nice rock waterfall, and fountains that spray into the pool. Also nice hot tub. Slight con, was that the pool was colder than most Arizona pools we have been to, but not so cold that you can't get used to it. And in the Arizona heat, it was quite refreshing. Temperature was about 110 - 115 degrees while we were visiting. They even have a BBQ down by the pool area that you can use. On the day of check out we were running a bit late (as you can see, we REALLY maximized our stay ;) -- at about 12:15 pm we got a call from front desk asking us if we would like late check-out. Wow, impressed yet again! Normally, we are used to less friendly calls rudely "reminding" us of check out time, as if we don't know. Nearby there are tons of great restaurants in a plaza area called "Westgate" - even a fountain show, to music, in the center area of all the restaurants/bars. We researched hotels quite a bit before chosing this one, and the research paid off... We would definitely stay here again, if in the area! read more

Awesome place to stay! The room has been prepaid so the check in process was very quick. We had a 2 bedroom suite with a separate living room and kitchen. The room was very clean and had 3 televisions so we could all watch whatever we wanted. They had a great selection of pay per view flicks. We watched a couple of movies that were still in theaters. The beds were very comfy and the hotel was very quiet. The kitchen was stocked with plates and glasses along with pots, pans and a coffee machine so we could cook whatever we wanted. The WiFi was super fast too! The only thing that was a little off was the elevator. It was very slow and very hot inside it. Other than that we really couldn't find anything lacking. Four of us spent a couple of nights here over a weekend and we were pretty pleased with everything. Their rates were very reasonable but there weren't any events occuring at the nearby Jobing Arena or University of Phoenix Stadium. Overall the room was quite nice albeit a tad on the small size for 4 campers but we made it work. It was clean and close to parking even though we were on the 4th floor. They include a pretty nice buffet breakfast that features real hot and fairly delicious items like omelets, bacon and sausage. You can also make your own waffle while enjoying a fresh bagel or danish with your coffee while you wait. Plenty of fresh fruit, yogurt, cereal, etc. as well. This is not a 5 star property but it probably rates as high as you can go for a hotel at this price point. Friendly and helpful staff, nice pool area and close to the 101 freeway as well as lots of restaurants and shopping. Oh, and they provide FREE wifi which is great. read more

Hands down worst hotel experience EVER!! We traveled here for our sons baseball tournament and after a 6 hr drive we wanted to come straight to our hotel to check in and relax for a bit before meeting up with the team. We had reserved a 2 bedroom suite ( via a travel agency with our team) about 2 1/2 months before our arrival. We were given a room on the 4th floor. We get to the room and it's a 1 bedroom suite. We go back downstairs and were told they didn't have a 2 bedroom suite under our name. After I went back and fourth with the GM I was told they would give us two separate rooms--which I refused. They clearly overbooked and gave our room to another family. They realized it was their mistake and gave us our 2 bedroom suite after discussing it for 15 min. We get new keys and we were directed to the 1st floor----AGAIN, wrong room!! Back to the 4th floor we go.....Thank God we didn't take our luggage out of our car!! At this point we were just about ready to leave the hotel and the only reason we stayed is because my sons entire team was staying there as well. To compensate for the run around all they did for us was give us $20 to the hotel pantry/market. Never again!! read more

Very nice hotel, the suite had a homey, comfortable look to it upon walking in. There was ample parking and a friendly female host upon check-in. We thought the room was very nice and clean, with the hardwood flooring and no carpet. The kitchen has a refrigerator, microwave, dishwasher, and a stove top with cabinets full of silverware. However the stove top was a little tricky to turn on and would only stay on for 15-20 minutes while cooking before shutting off. The kitchen also had a little island with seating so that was nice. The garbage cans provided in the room were very tiny so they filled up quickly in a one night stay. One downside of this room was that around 8 am the gardeners were very noisy outside the windows (we were on the first floor) for a prolonged period of time. This wasn't very pleasant to hear when trying to sleep. The toilets did not flush very easily and the handicap accessible bathroom had excessive water overflow. Other than that, the front lobby and fitness center were very nice and the floor was convenient for the parking situation. We would definitely stay here again, hopefully some minor improvements can be made to improve the quality of your future guests' stay. read more

We got a 2 bedroom suite at $132/night. My parents had one bedroom, and my husband, daughter and I had the second bedroom. The room: The kitchen was tiny, and ill-stocked. We didn't even have enough silverware for each person to have a set. We had to ask for enough silverware to get through our meal. We also had to keep requesting enough towels for everyone. Occupancy of this suite is 6. There were 5 of us, and only enough of everything for 4. The light fixture in the kitchen had so many bug carcasses in it, that we're pretty sure it hadn't been cleaned in a good long while. The pool...looks great in the pictures. Both my husband and I were lifeguards in our earlier days, and the shenanigans going on in this pool endangered everyone. Unsupervised kids. Diving, head-first, without looking to see if other people were in their path, into 5' deep water, which will break a neck. In the other end, more kids were using the emergency life rings as pool toys. Unsafe is just the beginning. The staff didn't care. The amenities: The Sundowners - great for food, but not so much for the complimentary wine. You could have used it to clean a diesel engine. We tried both the white and the red (both in unlabeled plastic carafes) just to be sure. Seriously, if you want to know what Franzia tastes like when it goes bad, try it. We chose to stay here over the Marriott Suites nearby because of a $7/night price difference. Next time we'll stay at Marriott. read more

This hotel is an OK hotel. When we first entered into our room we noticed that the carpet was dirty the bedskirt on the bed was dirty and that the bathroom had a smell to it. The WiFi is not good I ended up just using my data for most things that need WiFi.Some of the dishes that we found in the kitchen that are part of the hotel room were dirty. The pool is always dirty has leaves and flowers in it. The food was OK some of it look like slop and sometimes they run out of food to they didn't have any vegan options for those who don't eat meat or dairy except for maybe salad and fruit. The pluses of this hotel is they do serve breakfast every day and evening dinner Monday Tuesday and Wednesday they do have a free laundry service where you can go and wash your clothes and dry them as well as they provide baskets for you as well in the laundry room. They also have a pretty nice gym and the pool is average sized they provide towels in both the pool and the gym so you don't have to use your own towels in your room. Depending on how long you are staying housekeeping does come every day or it comesOnce a week for a deep cleaning. Overall I wouldn't stay again here at this location of Staybridge I would rather stay at any other hotel. read more

Pretty great hotel if you are going to a game at nearby University of Phoenix Stadium (or to a hockey game - the Coyotes play across the street as well). Rates were reasonable. We booked a 2 bedroom suite for Sunday and Monday night. The room was perfect - it had a full size kitchen with a large refrigerator, microwave, toaster oven (and toaster) and even a 2 burner stovetop. Parking is free, they gave me a parking pass when I checked in. WiFi was also free, which I feel is just unheard of these days. The staff was all very friendly. Unfortunately, not everyone was knowledgable about certain things. There was a sign in the lobby saying that they were offering a shuttle to Westgate for $5 per person. The agent told us that it technically started running at 4:30pm, but if we wanted to go earlier, they would call the driver. When we called and asked another agent to do this, she told us that they were not offering a shuttle and could call us a taxi. When I mentioned that there was sign and one of her coworkers said otherwise, she placed us on hold to "look in to it." Of course, when she came back on the line, she had the correct information. We didn't eat breakfast or check out the pool, so I can't really comment on either of those things. But our room was great, and overall the service was good. If I return to the area for a game, I would definitely stay here again. Although Glendale is far from everything else (Old Scottsdale, Downtown, etc), it's convenient for football and hockey games and there are plenty of bars and restaurants in Westgate Center. read more

The other 1 star reviews are spot on! Staying here clearly reminded me why I make it a rule to *never* stay at Holiday Inn property. But, the Marriott Residence inn (WAY better!) was sold out, as were other, better hotels, so this was my only remaining choice. No Staff on the desk when I check ing early evening Sunday night. Had to call to have him come to the desk to check me in. Arrived with shirt out, looked rushed, and slovenly. Room was small, and with a second bedroom which did me no good at all being a single occupant. Main room was small and cramped. Furniture and carpets are worn, heavily. Kitchen is small with a microwave and stovetop but no oven. Bathroom, the counter is lower than normal hotels, forcing me to bend over to shave and such. Towels were thin, scratchy and not very absorbent. "Green" sign to put towels on racks to be reused - which I did every day - was ignored every day. Maid did not vacuum at all during the week, nor did she wash used dishes or silverware. I had to go to the front desk and ask them to have the maid vacuum the room "No I didn't have the do not disturb sign on my door."). Used the laundry service but bag and slip were not replaced by maid and I had to ask to have it replaced. AC was noisy in the room madd it hard to sleep. Hotel has the slowwwwwwest elevators. Noticed and commented on my other guests as well. When I left my laundry at the front desk the first day, the front desk clerk was unable to tel me if the laundry is delivered to my room or I have to come pick it up (it;s the latter). Laundry was not back when it was promised. Clerk at desk ("Rayna"?") was clueless and had no idea how to resolve the issue. Finally I had to tell her to call the mgr. He called me back and he didn't seem to care that my laundry was late or why it was late. There was no effort made to make up for this. No offer of points, etc. So, for me the place is sub-par, mgt clearly does not care and has not trained the staff well. BEWARE - the most unprofessional motel management. My husband and I, and our 3 children, booked reservations 3 months in advance for New Year's Eve/Fiesta Bowl. The motel cancelled our reservation the night before (December 30th) WITHOUT any notice to us and then took an indignant stance. Ontop of all this, the general manager refused to speak to us directly to address this shameful act. So, apparently this hotel will unabashedly cancel confirmed reservations on whatever whim. IHG should cancel their franchise agreement with this poorly run motel. read more

This franchise, has had a management change and has made this stay a bad experience, when asked one day to talk to GM, I was asked if I made an appointment , are you kidding me . They use paper plates when corp people are not around and change to real plates when they are. Drinking wine from a paper cup, is not what I call and experience. Eating from paper plates , that I can do at super 8 motel. The brand always shows real glasses and real plates, but this new mgt, changes to paper plates when no one is around to save a nickel. Bad choice. While the stay of 10 plus weeks, has seen a drastic change in this hotel. Good people who served us with grace are gone. poor mgt. You walk around and the good feeling is gone. (DISABLED? PLEASE READ) I am writing this review after a very long cool down period and after several obstacles life decided to throw our way. I also didn't want to share personal medical issues on here but this story needs to be told. These last 10 months have been hell and the management and staff at the Staybridge Suits did not make things any better. In August I was forced out of my home due to smoke and soot damage. I had heard from one of the employees aka an acquaintance of mine that this was a great place to stay. This person had given me a voucher to stay at the hotel so I thought this was a perfect time to use that voucher. When I arrived at the hotel I was disappointed to find out this acquaintance had already been dismissed from her duties at the hotel (ALSO MEDICALLY SHAMED). I was a little surprised because this person is one of the most delightful people and her customer service skills from her previous job were the reason we became acquainted. Despite my disappointment and being told I couldn't use my voucher I decided to give them my business. Before checking into the hotel I asked about a handicap accessible room and if my medical condition was an issue. I was enthusiastically assured that it was not an issue and that house keeping was available if I needed any help (not true ). The room was a regular room but because it had the amenities I needed and was close to home if I needed I decided to check in. I should have ran at the first sign of trouble but you live and learn. So I get the keys and I walk into a room that was so sad looking. The curtains were falling off of the rod, the carpet was torn up so bad I almost killed myself walking into the bedroom and the couch had a slit in it the stuffing was coming out. We were so tired we decided not to deal with it and got settled in. The first thing I did was take a bath while my mom and brother got started on dinner but they quickly found out that only one of the burners on the stove was working. No biggie right? We can use the grill to cook the meat since the grill was right outside our room. NOPE! The grill was broken too. My mom ended up having to walk to the hotel next door to use their grill so our fish wouldn't go to waste or go bad. I was pretty upset by this point because as I was taking a bath I noticed feces splattered under the toilet. I was the first one in there so it was already there when we arrived. I called the front desk and finally complained. Yes I was a bit peeved so I probably was not the nicest person but the attitude that came with Joe from Maitnance was really unprofessional. The next day the long list of repairs that were needed were done while we were out and I thanked them as they were done well and I was happy. However I was not happy about the snide remarks I received from Joe in passing each other in the hall. I'll make this short because a lot happened. However I had no idea how mean and cruel the staff would end up being after my complaints were brought to light. After reporting the hotel to customer service and requesting my sheets to be changed due to medical stuff, my family and I were kicked out of the hotel and lies about my medical condition were told so that could be done. I was told I was a liability and due to the fact that I had started my period and stained a sheet. Then I was told I couldn't stay there. Julie and a person from my management company placed the call to let me know and when they thought I had hung up they continued to talk about me. I recorded this conversation of Julie bashing me and telling lies. The next day as I prepared to check out I over heard someone call and request a handicap room. Julie told her staff member to tell the person they didn't have an accessible room available because she wasn't going to deal with "ANOTHER ONE" like that. I could go on about this horrible place but bottom line is they missed the mark in customer service. In my opinion stay far away from this place if you are handicap. Oh and they also allow non handicap people to park in a handicap spaces even if it inconveniences the disabled guest. I have pictures of this I'll add later. Close to west gate bars etc. good location....the real complaint is the overall hotel management. Things don't seem to be very coordinated in terms of checkout/check in procedures. What really messed this up for me was having to wait an hour to check in then after getting the keys to the room finding that it hadn't been turned over (I actually think the previous guest was still there) in a great location....good place to lay your head for one or two nights, but when you can't actually check in till late it's not really worth it. read more

Where do I start... 1. When we arrived the front desk only had one person working. Waited 10 min to be helped. Plus, she kept messing up and starting over. 2. Get into the room, room was so small, smelled bad and was dimly lit. 3. Went to the pool, there were no towels. Asked the front desk 3 times to deliver towels and never did. 4. We needed more towels in our room, it took an hour to get new towels. It was the front desk lady that delivered them. She seemed to be the only one working? 5. Went up to the front desk, front desk lady who was really nice by the way, was talking in front of customers of hotel disputes. 6. Phone rings, front desk lady goes over the radio, "blanks baby daddy keeps calling"... 7. Our room had a couch that turned into a bed, there was only one pillow, and no blankets for warmth. 8. Asked front desk lady if she could bring more pillows. They were out. 9. Couch bed is horribly uncomfortable with springs that punched your back. 10. Breakfast that they serve, was disgusting. Eggs had fatty grizzle and didn't even taste like eggs. The only good thing about the hotel is the gym, and pool. Other than that don't stay here. You will be very disappointed. Plus it costed us $300 a night for this crappy place!! Highway robbery at its best. read more

I was extremely upset to have asked ahead of time about pet fee as this hotel said pets welcome. I was not informed it was $75 extra but the $189 included the pet fee. $75 is high first of all for a pet fee. I normally pay 35-50. That was shocking to be told I now owed $250 total for my room. I also had requested 2 queens. Once this hotel learned we had a dog (mini schnauzer btw-no shed, no bark), we were told we couldn't have our room and there were only a few available for pets. We were placed down the hall where the conference rooms were and next to the exit. Traffic in and out with loud talking and slamming doors is not my idea of a great hotel stay at $250 a night. This hotel should have insulated these rooms better. I could hear every word anyone said. The guy next to us smoked every so often and left his barking dog inside. The dog area was far away from where we were given a room plus the lawn area had 2 breaks in water lines and were mud pits. Kind of difficult to take your dig to a designated area when it's not available. I'm extremely annoyed and mad and feel abused by ihg. If I could rate this hotel a zero I would. read more

Seems like people either loved the place or hated it. I had a good experience. Check in went smooth, the a nice gentleman named Jason. Room was great for our needs. 2 queen beds and a pull out couch, plus a full kitchen, with large fridge. The bathroom was nice with tub and toilet behind one door and vanity separate. Vanity was a little small, but nothing you can't work with. Free breakfast in the morning. Typical breakfast with eggs, waffles, bread/ bagels, cereal, nothing fancy, but what more do you need. One day they were a little late setting up, made it a little busy for all the kids trying to get off to their baseball games. Free washing machines were nice too. Pool was clean and busy. Hotel can't control the caliber of people that stay there, so people that complain about that are just crazy. Overall, would stay here again! read more

A big THANK YOU to the staff at Staybridge. My mom was there on vacation for her birthday. I ordered an edible arrangement and had it sent to the hotel as a surprise. When my mom left her room Malarie (sp) hid the edible arrangement in my moms refrigerator. My mom later went to grab some water and was so shocked when she saw the arrangement I had ordered. While I cannot speak for the quality of the rooms or the location, what I can speak for is the staff that are willing to go above and beyond their call of duty for something as simple as a birthday surprise. I was able to coordinate a surprise with the staff of Staybridge from thousands of miles away. Thank you from the very bottom of my heart for making my moms day one to remember! Great place to stay- little kitchette, and FoxNews... friendly front desk staff... free breakfast (and it was GOOD) and dinner (we went out with friends)... they could use more housekeeping staff, but all in all... excellent!!!!!!!!!!!! read more

Beautiful hotel located in a nice convenient area. Friendly helpful staff and decent breakfast. My complaint is the cleanliness of our room, or lack of!! Housekeeping left the previous guests towels hanging in the bathroom, that was really disgusting!!!!! The headboard was so dirty, it looked like someone has spilled a soda or beer on it because you could see it streaked on the headboard and part of the wall. My 3 year old found an old hardened muffin behind the nightstand, none of us had eaten any muffins so who knows how long that muffin had been there rotting away, The walls in the kitchen area were dirty and looked like they hadn't been wiped down in a long time because you could see food stuck to the walls. We travel to that part of Arizona several times a year and unless the hotel makes a greater effort in assuring that housekeeping does a way better job of cleaning the rooms, We will not stay there again and will make sure our company never puts any of our employees in that hotel ever again read more

Wonderful location for our daughters wedding at the ASU Stadium. Wonderful, helpful staff, immaculate room, great kitchen and the balcony was a treat in the evenings. We will certainly stay here again and would recommend this location. read more
