I would have loved to try eating here. We walked in. Cute place! Had to wait for staff to be available to ask for assistance as we are not familiar. It was explained to us that we can only order from the kiosk. I asked for paper menu and assistance to order. The staff was willing to help me manage the kiosk and I said I would attempt after I clearly had no other option and wasn't given any other way to order. We scrolled through the options for sandwiches and I was not able to order without a bun or personalize the order. My husband and I were very frustrated to say the least. the person who was going to help us was gone again and we weren't going to wait again. We wanted to try this place because of the healthy changes they were making. I'm not a machine and I don't want to interact with one. I guess ordering from a human is high end dining now. Place is straight Boo Boo. The goofy Angela who works during the day time is always yelling at the drive thru mic and her coworkers and rushes your order. She got an Attitude too when her only job is to talk and listen, like if this job is so hard be a bagger at Publix goofy. After dealing with her the food is also Straight Boo Boo, don't matter if it's out in 5 minute or 10, always BOO BOO. now onto night shift, the girl who works the drive thru mic and has been here for over half a decade be having an attitude. This particular Steak 'n Shake has had its ups & downs. It is definitely on the UP! Being under local ownership, in my opinion, has made all the difference. Very friendly staff. I almost exclusively use drive-thru and NOW they never get my weird order wrong. The steakburgers are stellar, the fries are finally HOT all the time & the chocolate milkshake (my only choice for a shake) is always thick and tasty. When we entered I immediately noticed that the floors were sticky as if someone had spilled juice all over them. And when I got my food the burger was only the bun and patty. I thought they had more stuff in them which I why I ordered without cheese. The chicken fingers were good but the highest you could order was three, and they're average size chicken fingers. Skinny fries are great and hold salt when added. Staff is very friendly. Self order kiosk is easy to use and they didn't call out my name when food was ready - they brought it to our booth on a tray! At the time, I was craving Steak 'n Shake and for it to be the only one in naples, I needed to stop by! I'm not going to lie, seeing these reviews kind of scared me... but they are all wrong, and heavily dramatic. Wait time was no more then 10 minutes. All of the comments saying that the "wait is forever" is probably because they came in during a rush. I ordered an original double steak burger with cheese, fries, and a drink, and it was pretty good!The young lady who served me named "kareema" was the absolute sweetest girl. Looks like a lot of people do curbside pick up. They have drive thru & saw a few couples and families heading in for dinner. Technology is advanced and works smoothly. Had never been to one of these before, but don't eat burgers. The fries looked narrow and deep fried like usual & greasy, but did not try them. The shake is flavorful with Oreos throughout and lots of whipped cream on top. Whipped cream is really good. I skipped the cherry as I believe those have artificial food coloring. Seems like a great casual place to take the family. This is in the same parking lot as Naples Spa car detailing, so you could always dine in (FYI: definitely fast food vibe in this establishment) if you are getting your car detailed. This is just not my kind of place, but I think it would be fine if you eat this type of food regularly. I didn't even see the rest of the menu or the prices. First of all I must say I usually love Steak and Shake. However, this location needs a lot of help. You walk in and there are 4 kiosks you have to use them to order your own food. Then they call your number you have to go pick up your food get your own drink and basically wait on yourself. The staff was not friendly either time we went. I think it's absurd that the kiosk wants you to leave a tip when you're the one that does all the work. The first time I went I did leave a tip because I figured they would still bring the food to the table and your drink but when I realized they did nothing the second time we went back only because my daughter wanted to I did not leave a tip. Why should I leave a tip when I do all the work? This franchisee needs to retrain his people and bring back Customer Service. read more

The wait times have gotten a lot better, but the food was always on point. The burgers are cooked fresh, not sitting in a plastic bin like McDonald's and other places. I've been to several Steak 'n Shakes across the country and they have been pretty consistent in the food they serve and the decor. Well, this one really didn't cut the mustard, so to speak (pun intended). I met up with a group of friends who had already ordered, so i knew my food would be a little late, but it took a pretty decent amount of time for the server to actually come over and notice I was a new addition to the table. Definitely not as slow as some people are saying in other reviews, but it was still slower than I would have expected. I didn't order any food, just a strawberry shake, since everyone else was half-way through their meal by the time my shake showed up. The shake itself was really good, tasted just as I would expect. I asked my friends about their food ... there was everything from burgers to salads. Everyone pretty much agreed it was just okay. I had a bite of the burger, and they were right. It was just okay. Not spectacular, not horrible. Bottom line, this place is okay if you can't find another Steak 'n Shake close by. I do not give out 5 stars a lot, but I just had the best burger and fries I've had in a while. Not to mention, I only paid 4 dollars. I have had steak and shake maybe once or twice before when I was younger, but today I decided to try the drive through for lunch. I will admit, the wait was a little long for some reason, but when I got my food, I was not disappointed. I am a big shake shack guy, and the double cheeseburger here tasted identical to shake shack. Additionally, the fries were the nice stringy kind that I like. I will definitely be going back, and hopefully my review stays the same. Way to go! The kiosks are there to order from, but the staff will assist and accommodate requests. As for the comment about tips, it's your choice, but consider the cost of living In Naples and the fact you are not getting your burger from a rehydration tray and then microwaved. The steak burgers are actually cooked in front of you and your milk shake will be served in an actual glass when dining in. The girl says really idk i just got here. lol i pay for my shake and she gives me the shake and never comes back then she does and says do you need something i say yea my change and btw my shake is watered down. She hesitates to still give me my change. I finally say it's not your fault it's whoever is training this staff and keep the change but you should at least offer peoples change back.
