Customer service was poor. We were seated and waited 5-7 minutes for our server to come to our table. There were maybe 15 people in the entire place. Every word was in a passing manner then after our food was brought to the table (room temperature and thrown together) we overheard our server was on break, which explained the lack of customer service. We even asked another server for napkins, she said give her a minute and never returned. This was a very disappointing experience, especially for a new chain restaurant in the metro area. I hope with this being an newer establishment the kinks will work themselves out. But until then, I will not be visiting again. read more

Traveling from Birmingham to Dallas and searched Google Maps to locate a quick jump off I-20 to grab a meal and get back on the road. Searched the menu and identified the Western BBQ 'N Bacon Steakburger. Pulled in to a long drive-thru line, 2 sloppy employees just lounging outside, and a sign on the door rejecting customers, misspelled of course, "No Take Out Orders." Wife went inside to order and use the bathroom and asked why they weren't accepting TAKEOUT orders and a sorry employee snipped, "Do you not see the line?" PATHETIC! Maybe you should put those lazies out front back on the clock (heck, they may have even been on it) and SERVE your CUSTOMERS! Manager should be axed and Regional Manager should be ashamed. The sweet tea is delicious and the shakes are always reliably top-of-the-line. My first visit. The shakes alone are what got the 3 star. The menu is the same as any burger joint, which is fine, but the wait was longer than expected ( even at lunch ). Pretty sure they lost a customer since the guy next to me waited forever (I even wanted to ask where his order was). But the burgers are fresh, the toppings are plenty and the price is in line for the quality and portions. The classic strawberry shake was a 9/10. I would have put a slice of strawberry on top of a strawberry shake, but even if I went with a cherry (like mine came with), I would have used a whole cherry...not a half of one, really?! Really cool place. Almost two weeks after the opening and it's still packed. They are fast moving people in and out though. The menu is kind of simple but, really good. Kind of the greasy spoon old fashion soda shop which is what I think they were going for so this is good, right? On August 29, 2022 my sister and I were in Pearl, MS and saw there was Steak N Shake # 2181. We both love the garlic burger and since our local SNS is no longer in business, we seized on the opportunity to get garlic burgers. The burgers were good and the French fries were so-so. The purpose of this review is to let management know what a great employee you had working the window. According to our receipt, her name is Sydney and she was at the window at 12:28. In a day and time when a lot of employees act like customers are a bother, she made us feel valued. My wife and I went to Steak 'n Shake after not having been in some time. We were surprised by the changes, such as only ordering from a kiosk. I was wondering what else might have changed. I should not have worried! If anything, the food was far superior to what we had had before! My wife had the garlic butter burger, and it was soaked in a luscious garlic sauce. I had my usual, a chili five way. The portions were larger than before, particularly the cheese fries--much bigger than before, and with shredded cheese as well as the cheese sauce. If that wasn't enough, I ordered a peanut butter shake, and it was fantastic. Rich, thick, and full of real peanut butter. I have to say that we were wonderfully surprised and happy with the food and drinks we got there today. Horrible horrible horrible!!!! We went for the milkshakes - ordered 2 smalls - one butterfinger and one Nutella. We got to the window to be told they were out of butterfinger. We said ok m&m is fine. They apparently had the shake sitting on the counter just waiting for us to tell them an alternative bc we were very quickly given the shakes. The m&m shake (the replacement for the butterfinger shake) was almost completely melted. It was almost water with m&ms at the bottom. The Nutella shake just tasted weird to me. Ordered 2 garlic burgers with crispy unions and fries, my girlfriend checked one of the burgers to make sure it was right, and it was. So she didn't check the other one. We came back after much hesitation and have done so several times since my first review. I must say the food has improve a good bit. And the food is also very well priced. It's hard to beat their prices. I do wish the hamburger patties were a little thicker, but they are still good. The customer service improved a slight bit not much, bust they are normally busy when we are there. The only thing stopping this place from being 4 stars on yelp is the fact that there is no where to stand or sit while you wait on a table. With a toddler that gets kind of frustrating because it's such a small area and they won't to be able to move around. They have a really good variety of milk shakes ! They even gave me the wrong shake. My second trip- I saw g drive through line wasn't too long. I waited in line for 15 minutes and then a manager comes up to my car and says that they have moved the end of the drive thru line to a different place and that I needed to move behind the line or go inside. When i ginally did receive my burger and fries it was another 10 minutes to get my shake. They also forgot to put the peanut butter in it.
