The sandwich and fries were way too salty. Will not be ordering food from them again.

I am not a subject matter expert on Philly cheesesteaks. I have had maybe two in my long life and…read morecan't even remember whether I liked them or not. After grabbing a cheesesteak from East Coast Eddie's, I can definitely say I love them! You get service with a smile and quick too. I ordered the original with provolone, came with fries. The sandwich itself was sizable, lots and lots of meat, peppers, onions and melty cheese. The meat was seasoned perfectly, and tender with crispy edges. Yummers!! The pile of fries was enormous! I normally don't like thick cut fries. These were great --- fully cooked through with a good crunch outside and good potato flavor throughout. They appeared to be hand cut. Right amount of salt, not greasy. In fact, I took half home and air fried them for lunch the next day. Very little oil on the surface and crisped up nicely. Judging by the other reviews, Eddie's is apparently the real deal and high quality for a cheesesteak. All I know is this food was really good and reasonably priced. I am going back whenever I get the craving!

I appreciated the right bun AND that it wasn't overwhelmed by too much cheese. Service was fabulous too, as he brought our lunch out to us and took the time to provide a bit of presentation.

Anyone who…read moreknows me knows that I don't blow sunshine up anyone's skirt so this is a 100% fair and accurate review of the food they serve. I've actually spent a lot of time in Philadelphia so I know what a Philly Cheese Steak sangwich is supposed to taste like. Purists will say that the Philly here isn't totally authentic and that would be true, however they serve up a mighty good sandwich all the same. There's maybe a dozen or so places in Philly where you can get "the real deal". Lots more places in Philly (and elsewhere) offer a "Philly cheese steak" sandwich but they, too, are hardly authentic. So let's put that to rest. I had what's known as the provy witout. No whiz, no peppers. Just meat and cheese. Prit-T-good! Ordered the whole sandwich, which was actually two sandwiches for ~ $12. Waaaay too much even for a big guy like me. The steak was a tasty cut, grilled to perfection with the cheese cooked right into the meat as it should be. No complaints at all. The roll was as authentic as you can expect considering how far away a Philly bakery is. Unless you feel like traveling 3,000 miles this sandwich ought to keep even the fussiest folks happy. On a side note, I don't know how these food trucks make any money anymore. What with the reduced hours due to this scamdemic nonsense... they were open at this location for two hours. I believe that this was their only gig for the day. They did have a steady flow of customers but still. At ~$12 a pop they aren't taking in a lot of dough. Then you have a couple of hours of prep and cleanup time (no revenue there), the cost of materials, fuel, licenses, fees, overhead, equipment depreciation and so on.... the owner plus one employee plus childcare so she can work the business...... it's a LOT of work and not a huge reward. For them it must be a labor of love because no one gets rich operating one of these trucks. I always try to support local businesses and this is definitely a local business worth coming to visit.

The place was noisy & almost full of diners, dancers, wanna be dancers & looky loos. Definitely busy, but booths & tall tables with tall seats available. We wandered upstairs, which included round tables & chairs, a pool table & other game platform. Thinking we may not get food service too soon up there, we went downstairs & chose a booth. We both ordered the Coulotte/Top Sirloin meal with steamed broccoli & "the works " baked potato. My steak was cooked as ordered (medium rare), but too dark with char on the surface for my liking. When mentioning the situation to our server, she said that was the usual level of char but offered a couple of options for me to choose from for resolution. The broccoli was steamed properly & the "loaded" baked potato was great! Overall, our meals were very good & the wait staff also did an awesome job as well!!

Then he talked me into getting something else to go with the salad. He got a quesadilla, he didn't really like it. He ate half, he took the other half home, maybe to dress it up more? Anyways, I got the Beyond Burger and had them veganize it..no mayo or cheese. I didn't realize there would be mushrooms, so that was a nice surprise. The waiter knew exactly what I meant, and he checked on us frequently. I got an iced tea and it was crisp and clear the way I like it. All the chairs were padded, not just the booths. Which is important to me. After I finished my burger, I was too full to eat my salad. I took my half home, but later when I was going to eat it, it was soggy. I have fond memories of dancing to live music. I hope I can attend when there's live music again!
