We went to check out theie menu when it was at the Portland Night Market, and when my bf saw that they had beignets, he had to have them, and he loved them. He saved some for breakfast the next day. I'm used to having beignets that are a little puffier, because these are more flat, but they were still good. Staff is very friendly, and there was a lot I wanted to try on the menu, but I was still full from my lunch earlier.

$23 wasted on a so called catfish po boy with no lettuce..so i recieved a soggy piece of seasoned fish with some mayo between a hoagie roll..ya step ya game up.

We were very excited to try this food truck as we are very much fans of Cajun food. We have been to Louisiana and know what to expect. I ordered the crawfish etoufee, the hush puppies, and the beignets. The etoufee was relatively bland, the hush puppies tasted like old oil, and the beignets were flat and chewy.. also oily. They also "accidentally" tipped themselves upon paying and while they offered to give it back, the fact that they did it to my daughter who paid next, left me feeling like it wasn't on the up & up. The food is ok. But for $32.. I can't say I would return.

Unfortunately, their supplier was out of tots. But the Cajun fries were good. Overall the beignets stole the show. They were made fresh, to order, and it was absolutely incredible. I might have to come back and try the tots and some of their other menu items to give a more thorough review

bought the jambalaya hot plate for $16 and it's not worth the money. such a small portions to cost $16

Food is great! I especially love the shrimp poboy. They come to forest Grove and usually park at Waltz's Brewery.

It's hard for me to rate restaurant sold shellfish because I still think it's a way better deal to buy it and cook it fresh. It's cheaper, more flavorful, and more quantity. We got the whole pot and a side of lobster tails and potatoes. The potatoes weren't necessary as the whole pot had a whole lot of potatoes. The lobster tails were pretty small sized but there was 4 pieces. The crab pieces were all minuscule outside of the claws. The corn was really good. Everything is drenched in a delicious buttery sauce that made everything still enjoyable and pretty tasty. Overall I was pleased with the meal and overall experience, though.

I had the shrimp and crab combo, with a lobster tail add-on. The dish includes potatoes, corn on the cob, and andouille sausage. The flavor of the seafood was good: no hint of the unpleasant scent or aftertaste that can be found in seafood that is past its prime or has been thawed out and refrozen. I opted for the Parmesan garlic mixed with the raging Cajun. It is a heavily seasoned buttery sauce. Friendly service was a plus. I liked it and will return.

I got their shrimp scampi pasta and it was delicious! The scampi were big and there were 5 pieces. Very plump and cooked nicely. The artichokes were very good, no chewy parts. The tomatoes were very fresh and juicy, too. The flavor of the pasta was fantastic. It didn't feel oily, heavy, and yet it was packed full of flavor. I also loved the 2 garlic bread sticks as it was flavorful and had a nice crunch! I loved everything about this dish and I don't say that all the time. When I visit again, I'll have to eat this again!

HOWEVER, i decided to give it another shot after seeing their attractive happy hour menu! (offered from 2PM to 5PM). I was quickly seated in the bar area and greeted by my server. I tried the hamachi crispy rice and raw oyster which was super yummy and fresh. It was beautifully presented, and garnished. My only note was that I wish it would have been served with a side of wasabi/soy sauce but it had its own sweet soy sauce drizzled on top. its super nice in the summer when the weather is nice because the have this partial outdoor bar seating window that opens up! you dont see many places with this kind of bar design.
