    Chicago Dog & Fries
    Luna H.

I have family staying from out of town & wanted them to have options so we went to BG. I never had Philly cheesesteak with lamb before, so I asked if it was good. The girl working said if you're familiar with the taste of lamb, then yes. It was like a gyro meets Philly cheesesteak. It was incredible. I just wish they had the cheese sauce. They ran out & had to put provolone, I believe, instead. Wasn't a fan but they made do with what they had & it was still yummy. My husband has been searching for a "real" Chicago dog for a very long time. He was so happy they had them & said it was fantastic. She also said it'd be ready in 8-10 min. We set a timer for 8 min & she had it ready & was waiting for us to walk back up, so their timing is perfect. Side note: We unfortunately sat at the bar by axe throwing to avoid the wind, which had gnats but of course isn't their issue as they are by the entrance of the food court. That won't affect my score, obviously. They were great!

To be fair...the cart has Philly Cheese Steak in its name and I ordered a hotdog...so did it try their signature dish. But the hotdog was ok...nothing super special...but got rid of my hunger pains. Fries need more salt -- and a bit expensive on menu prices...but an adequate lunch stop for a hotdog.

L'Auberge Philly Cheese Steak's is superb. Serving huge sandwiches. My Husband's new favorite, is the Lamb Cheese Steak and fries meal. The bread itself was amazing, and a plus was that it didn't get soggy after sitting for 30 minutes. We have had it several times over this past year, and they have not disappointed us.

Great cheesesteak here at bgs. The sandwich was packed full with lots of flavor. Fries were crispy and delicious.

Classic Philly Cheese Steak & Fries

Tried the classic Philly and subbed in waffle fries for few extra dollars. There's no option to just order the sandwich by itself. The bread was soft and held together the melted provolone and sliced beef. It was more salty and had seasoning salt all over. Some of the meat had tiny bone fragments. Waffle fries were crisp with a classic fry sauce. Not a bad option but at $17 it's a pricey lunch. Great service and friendly

Been here twice now and good food and service! The first time I had a regular Philly cheese steak and this time I had the Seattle dog and waffle fries with cheeze whiz. All really good.

Highly recommend this Lamb Cheezteak. Ask for extra sauce and pour it on the sandwich. Wait for it to.cool a bit to enjoy.

Not gonna lie when I took the photo I was excited because it looked good but it ended up being super underwhelming

I wanted to like this place so bad because there isn't currently anywhere local to get a good cheesesteak. It was alright but nothing special,,it may take awhile to get your food but you can tell the guy working the cart is a good guy and is doing his best to keep up with orders. If i'm really craving a cheesesteak and dont feel like going to a dive bar or driving down to Powell then I would maybe come back.

Okay Philly cheesesteak in PNW. $2 Costco water bottle--don't forget to bring your own. The number of fries is the most disappointing.

The shop is located right after the Budget Rental Car building off of Canyon Road, you turn left going east into the parking lot as you pass the Budget building, the sandwich shop is right next to the hot tub shop on the left of the lot, ample parking is available. The interior has a few tables but seating is limited if you plan on eating in. The menu board is basic and to the point. You can create your own sandwich or select from the various options. A key fact, they only serve one size sandwich a 12 inch. I ordered the chicken with pepperjack cheese, hot peppers (they are hot), black olives, pickles and mayo (I will share that you might ask for a smaller spread of mayo if you are not a huge mayo fan), my son ordered the Supreme with steak, mayo, unions, lettuce, tomato, jalapeños, mushrooms and steak sauce on a soft white roll. The bread was amazingly soft and holds up well with all of the toppings. The sandwich taste was amazing, it took about 8 min or so to get our order but well worth the wait, they sandwiches were packed with toppings, nice and hot proteins, we also ordered fries with cheese dip, the french fry order was much larger than expected glad that we shared them, the cheese dip is also very tasty. We look forward to our next sandwich.

Anyone who…read moreknows me knows that I don't blow sunshine up anyone's skirt so this is a 100% fair and accurate review of the food they serve. I've actually spent a lot of time in Philadelphia so I know what a Philly Cheese Steak sangwich is supposed to taste like. Purists will say that the Philly here isn't totally authentic and that would be true, however they serve up a mighty good sandwich all the same. There's maybe a dozen or so places in Philly where you can get "the real deal". Lots more places in Philly (and elsewhere) offer a "Philly cheese steak" sandwich but they, too, are hardly authentic. So let's put that to rest. I had what's known as the provy witout. No whiz, no peppers. Just meat and cheese. Prit-T-good! Ordered the whole sandwich, which was actually two sandwiches for ~ $12. Waaaay too much even for a big guy like me. The steak was a tasty cut, grilled to perfection with the cheese cooked right into the meat as it should be. No complaints at all. The roll was as authentic as you can expect considering how far away a Philly bakery is. Unless you feel like traveling 3,000 miles this sandwich ought to keep even the fussiest folks happy. On a side note, I don't know how these food trucks make any money anymore. What with the reduced hours due to this scamdemic nonsense... they were open at this location for two hours. I believe that this was their only gig for the day. They did have a steady flow of customers but still. At ~$12 a pop they aren't taking in a lot of dough. Then you have a couple of hours of prep and cleanup time (no revenue there), the cost of materials, fuel, licenses, fees, overhead, equipment depreciation and so on.... the owner plus one employee plus childcare so she can work the business...... it's a LOT of work and not a huge reward. For them it must be a labor of love because no one gets rich operating one of these trucks. I always try to support local businesses and this is definitely a local business worth coming to visit.

The café itself is simple, clean, and cozy, with a small outdoor seating area available. Their menu features a variety of sandwiches and burgers to choose from. On a previous visit, I tried the elk burger, which was excellent. This time, I ordered the roast beef sandwich, and it did not disappoint. The bread was lightly toasted, the portion of meat was generous, and the sandwich itself was hearty and satisfying. Service was quick and efficient, making it an ideal spot for a casual lunch. While the space is modest, it is well-maintained and comfortable. They also operate a butcher shop next door, which has become one of my favorite places to purchase quality meats--I plan to review that separately in the future. Overall, I highly recommend stopping by if you're in the area.

The whiz was done right and was nice and thin as opposed to being too thick like some places do it. I appreciated the idea behind putting multiple cheese types in here, but I think it probably would have been better with just whiz. Unfortunately, my biggest gripe with this sandwich was that the meat used was pretty clearly chopped up burger meat as opposed to the typical shaved steak that you would typically encounter in a cheesesteak. While I hoped that this wouldn't make too much of a difference and would still be an enjoyable sandwich, I just couldn't overlook it as I ate the sandwich.
