This place is a quiet browsing spot, you don't really have workers asking you often if you need help, which is great for my fellow introverted people. Parking is pretty crazy though, there's a tiny parking lot on the one way street before getting to the building but since there are other local businesses right next to the store the parking gets pretty full most of the time. Grab a coffee across the street and browse, you can easily blow through 2 hours just looking at everything they have to offer. Since a lot of the goods are imported I would personally say the average cost of something would be around $22, so if you are planning on splurging make sure to save a little bit (or else you'll get torn between choosing what to buy, like I have done before ) The environment is also very communal, having a trinket trading box outside of their storefront (not owned by Sour Milk but heavily appreciated) AND a Sonny Angel/ Smiski trading station, and also vending art created by local Fresno artists! On top of their every-day communal outlets they also are huge contributors for Tower Districts Art Hop and they host local vegan food trucks from time to time.

After I received advise on my grass, I asked about different trees that I could plant in my front yard. I don't have a large front yard and I needed some thing that had a non-invasive roots. The entire time I was there I was given such wonderful advice and such great suggestions on trees that have non-invasive roots that will not overpower my yard or grow around my water pipes. As soon as I walked in the lotus gardens, I felt so relaxed. It is such a wonderful place to walk around and to shop. The employees are so helpful and so nice. I wish I would've known they were there a long time ago. I will totally be visiting again in the near future. If you have it, then you're really missing out on a little hidden gem .

Where do I begin... apparently Airgas has low standards. I spoke with a big fat guy who was about…read moreas RUDE as it gets and not just to me to his coworkers in front of me. I think he may have been the manager as he was in an office behind the counter pretty much telling me what he was not going to do. My conversation was with the guy at the counter and out of no where he starts telling me what they will not do. At first I wasn't sure he was talking to me but as I seen the guy I was talking to roll his eyes, I knew he was talking to me. When I replied "excuse me" He stood up came out and said " Yeah we can't do that" with a smug look. So I asked him what it is they can't do??? He replied make that delivery. I asked "why not"/? He replied because we don't go Pacheco. I said oh I didn't realize you that... I than asked do you not have it in stock or can't you UPS or FedEx it and he said no not with out some pretty heavy fees that will be passed on to the customer. So again I asked do you not have it in stock and he than asks me what gas and I and the guy helping me tell him I am not getting gas. I tell him I am getting safety vests and safety glasses. He says "oh". At this point I am pissed off as the guy walks away with out apologizing, with out acknowledging he was wrong, nothing. I was so mad I left with out getting anything. I spoke with a saleman in the Santa Rosa branch who by the way saved my perception of Airgas. The service style there was beyond what I would have expected after being in the Fresno store. I recently purchased a 30-year-old used Kubota tractor that needed a bit of work. I found Pioneer…read moreTractor in Fresno and contacted the Service Manager, Bob. I explained what I needed done, we set up and time for me to drop off the tractor. Although I had a bit of an issue getting the tractor there upon arrival I was greeted with smiles and positive comments. Bob assigned Kelly, the technician to my little tractor. Kelly diagnosed the issues and set to work correcting the problems. Issue one was the bucket cylinders needed to be rebuilt. There was a kit available but given the age not all the parts fit. Kelly was able to use what fit and clean up what didn't to make it work. With issue one addressed it was on the issue two a hydraulic fluid leak from the rear differential. It took some work to dismantle the attachments to find the leak which turned out to be worn out rubber plug. Kelly replaced the plug and did a complete service on the system. When I picked up the tractor Kelly was there to describe what he had done and provide me with additional information on how to use and maintain the tractor. It is clear he takes pride in his work no matter how small or big the job is. All the people at Pioneer were friendly and professional I would highly recommend them if you have a Kubota tractor or if you are looking to buy on

Mine was a small project. I needed help with a backyard/side yard drainage issue. Doug accepted the…read morejob and along with his co-worker, removed existing river rock and soil, installed a drain from the back to the front yard, tested the new drain and then re-placed the rock/soil (in just several hours). Recent rains have proven the success of the work and eliminated the puddled water in the back side yard. Doug was extremely pleasant with which to work, quickly setting up the appointment and following it through to completion. I would definitely ask for his help again.

It's like you're walking in to someone's house. The owner is super nice and helpful if you need any particulars. There are 3 rooms with varied plant species. I decided to go for a small Calathea Makoyana. She gave me a lot of info and even wrote down a helpful card with care tips. Since I was there for Fresno Made, I received a free bottle of "Joyful Dirt" which was awesome because I needed to fertilize all my house plants! If you're a plant lover, it's worth checking out :)

They offer a variety of houseplants, with stock changes on a weekly basis as well as plant pots and gifts from local and small businesses at reasonable prices. They also offer delivery once a week for just $2. Their new location will be opening this month (January 2020) however, shopping will be by private appointment only until the pandemic is behind us for safety's sake. I have purchased multiple times from Let It Grow Fresno and the owners, Kelly and Daniel are super friendly and responsive. I am a plant junkie, and I love shopping with Let It Grow.
