I was beyond happy with the cleaning service from SteamPro. The technician was well informed and pleasant. I had a bad experience with another service many years ago, which left a scar. After researching carefully, I landed on SteamPro for many reasons. I like that they don't use harsh chemicals, and also that they stand behind their claims. I had a unique zipper fabric door that is permanently attached to the molding so it had to be done on site. It required some extra attention, and the serviceman was up to the task. I have a vintage carpet that ended up needing a more thorough cleaning done than could happen on site, and they were willing to re-steam the front & back of the carpet to remove the embedded stains for no extra charge at their facility. SteamPro isn't one of those bargain basement type of places. It's a professional outfit and worth every penny. I highly recommend using their services! read more

A Very poor job was done. The cleaner was in a rush. I paid nearly $200 on a basic cleaning for one room that was pointless. I could've paid for a Groupon deal instead. This update is mainly to respond to Jeffery C.'s response yesterday, please read the main review below, but i will also to state some of what has happened since I posted the review. First, I am not mistaken as to which carpet cleaner I am reviewing. I am confident that it is Steam Pro, and I am confident that I talked to Jeffery. Second, Jeffery also knows who I am. Third, he has indeed sent me multiple private messages, one of which offered a refund. I did not respond because I no longer had any interest in receiving a refund. As I stated in my original review, after yelling at me, he said he would send a refund when I first complain, but he never never did. I would rather people know the poor service he provided and how he treated me that day and when I complained than receive a refund. I was THAT unhappy! There are simply better options elsewhere. Customer service matters a lot to me. If you have any doubts about me, feel free to check my other reviews. I have written 19, which range from positive to negative. FANTASTICAL AND MAGICAL!! I'm so happy with my carpets! Jeffery and Michael just left and the carpets look incredible! He quoted me over the phone, and when they arrived he was honest and up front about everything. I was shocked the quote was exactly the price he charged. I've had experiences where companies will kind of bully you and up charge you for random things when they actually come to your house. But Jeffery DIDNT! He was honest and kept the price fair! We have only good things to say about Jeffrey even though we had a really strange problem surface. We had him come out to clean our couch. When he finished the fabric discolored for some reason. We were all shocked. Since Jeffrey wasn't 100% sure what happened he had our pillows and couch sent to an industrial cleaner that washed everything again and got things back to normal. At no cost to us of course and Jeffrey refunded us our original money because he felt so bad. We're not 100% sure what happened but in the end everything is fine. We would totally recommend Jeffrey. I am so happy I found this place, and it was by sheer luck! I don't need to go into detail BUT I drove in with my rug in tow, they greeted me so kindly, gave me and my rug so much attention. I didn't have to lift a finger or be bothered with anything until I got a call to pick it up. The owner (what a awesome person) carried my spotless (non toxic) cleaned rug out to my car. I got home and was able to lay out the rug completely and it looks amazing, literally looked brand new. (This rug was bad and smelly because I have a dog). I am so happy I found this place. Jeffrey was honest, up front, on time, and extremely efficient! He was even kind enough to share some information on the job about the cleaning process and the equipment he uses, and from the look of my carpet now you definitely do NOT need to pay for a giant truck washer to get them looking fantastic! Steam Pro's prices were the best I found for the 3 rooms I had done (though for a single room it would have been pricier than some companies), and he even made a sweet deal for being a college student. I highly recommend Steam Pro for all-purpose carpet cleaning. As a side note, they don't clean ink stains because they don't stock the appropriate cleaner. I have used several other carpet cleaning companies and didn't like the results. I called Steam Pro because we had a small emergency where some water leaked and our carpet was really wet. Not only did they get it cleaned up, but they did our living room and got rid of all the kid/pet stains in the carpet. The best part was, whatever they used, smelled wonderful and made the room smell good even the next day. They came out quickly, were polite and professional. Bryan came and did an excellent job on my carpet! I live in a 2bd apartment on the west side and have hosted dogs, cats, dirty shoes, all the things. Bryan gave me an estimate (including the couch, it was nearly 900.00) and after my heart attack we decided that the carpet needed it more. worth it! carpet looks and smells so fresh; the system they use is beyond a simple shampooing and really gets the old/ deep stains out. He removed soooo many annoying spots that I've been unable to clean. Plus there was no icky lingering smell afterwards and everything looks fantastic. I was SO happy with the customer service, work ethic, and results of Steam Pro, and specifically the service man, Brian. First, I decided to choose this company based on other reviews I read and I can attest that the reviews reflected my actual experience. Second, the scheduling process was so easy and very professional. I received email and text confirmations and the service man was early/on-time. Third, Brian was the service man and he ensured the work area was protected (drop cloths to protect floor), the machine he used wasn't disgusting/dirty like other companies. He explained what he was doing, the products he was using, he steps to cleaning - which I appreciated to get an understanding that he wasn't just wet vacuuming my couch! I wanted him to cut corners (like skip spot treating, etc and he was really uncomfortable with that idea, stating he wouldn't feel right doing that and wanted to do his job correctly - I eventually gave in and glad I let him go all out!) He was SO personable, kind, and I felt comfortable with him in my home. He worked hard, with integrity, and the outcome was better than expected. My couch stains were gone, the layers of dirt (that I didn't even realize were there until he showed me the grime) were gone, and the couch didn't smell deoderized - it smelled just clean! The cost was about $100 more than we'd ever spent before but I genuinely was so happy with the results. I didn't want to be - I kinda wanted to be like "you cost more but it looks the same" but I couldn't say that. I even texted photos to my husband to show him how it looked new again. I will definitely use Steam Pro again and recommend them for couch cleaning. read more

Years ago I Googled: "carpet mites", and they made quite an impression on me. I always had a feeling carpet was unsanitary, but I was not prepared for those little things. Since then, I've remained with hardwood floors, until my move a few years ago. My bedroom had new carpet, and although I vacuumed and spot cleaned it incessantly, it wasn't enough. I know how OCD it sounds, but it's fabric- that's like wearing the same shirt for years and just vacuuming crumbs off. Gross! Smelly! This led me to Yelp, and to Jeffrey. Tanner did a really good job on making sure I was pleased with the job. When I had some concern areas he went over them again, I was really happy by the end. He was a hard worker and I really appreciate that a lot. I'm so happy I get some home to clean carpets. The only concerning part that I wasn't happy with was the lady over the phone quoted me $200-250 and the actual estimate came out to $435. It's a dramatic difference and I wasn't ready to be paying that much.
