Ok so almost a year later, it's time to have my old beat up couches cleaned. I remembered the good service I got from here and have them a ring. I was surprised the guy actually remembered me! He even remembered my couches and the prices, I can't even remember my where I put my car keys but this guy remembered me. He said he would be here by 12, I warned him about traffic but he was sure he will be there at 12 on time. They knocked on my door at 11:55. Guys came in and I mean they really worked on my couches, they were very mindful of my floor placing towels all over (even though I told them don't worry about it, they treated it like my couches and home were first class.) the workers are clean and honest, no odd tattoos no weed plant necklace, even clean shaven with clean clothes. I have 3 dogs who live with me so when I say my couches were dirty and smelled they really really were bad again, but just like last time they smell great and are really clean. I got six months last time of them smelling good before my dogs finally got there scent back in, highly recommend these guys, they're prices are good and the work they put in really makes me happy. They looked as motivated as I did to have my couches cleaned. Another point was the power in my house isn't the greatest kept going out on them, they were completely understanding, didn't charge extra for the extra time they spent. I picked this company because of the Yelp reviews, and I'm so glad I did. Their five stars are well-deserved. Jeffrey quoted me a price over the phone to have a sofa and three area rugs cleaned, and that's the price he charged me. He and Michael showed up at my house on time, with two machines, ready to go. They worked quickly and efficiently, but took the time to explain what they were doing, why they were doing it, and what I could do to extend the life of my rugs. They finished when they said they were going to finish, and even threw in a quick "touch-up" of another rug that doesn't get much traffic. Amazing service, and they cleaned up after themselves so well I never would have guessed they'd been here if it weren't for my beautifully clean rugs and sofa. Thank you, Jeffrey and Michael. Can't say enough about these guys! They came to my one bedroom apartment this summer and absolutely amazed me with how clean my carpet was after only an hour of work! My 2 year old beige carpet (where 3 dogs and one human live and play on) was filthy, stained, smelled bad.. But not anymore! I was so happy I tried paying them more, but Jeffrey wouldn't accept it, which was SO kind. Just like you're doing right now, I researched carpet cleaning service reviews on Yelp before booking my appointment with Steam Pro. I felt pretty confident about hiring them based on their prior reviews, but I was even happier about choosing them after they completed the job. The carpeted areas in my 1BR apt aren't huge or heavily soiled, but other cleaning services I've hired over the past few years have left my carpet soggy for as long as 3 full days, which was inconvenient and annoying to say the least. Jeffrey and his team were on time, conversationally pleasant and respectful - and most important - did the best job out of any/every service I've used. My carpets (which are cream-colored and 9 years old) now look fresh, spotless and much newer than their actual age. Also, I was extremely pleased that my carpet was 100% dry 24 hours later. I don't post many reviews on Yelp, but I felt compelled to post this review because I personally think that Yelp reviews of services are more reliable than reviews of restaurants, bars, etc. I highly recommend Steam Pro. read more

I used Steam Pro on 11/19/13 to clean my light colored microsuede sectional sofa, carpeted staircase carpeted closet and sisal run. They did a fantastic job. Jeff the owner answered the phone personally, set up the appointment and he & his team showed up on time. The were at my house approximately 2 hrs. The sofa was really stained and looking very worn. I really didn't have very high expectations that they would be able to really make too much of a difference. Boy was I wrong, the darn thing looks brand new again; I could not believe it. The staircase had not been cleaned in 4 years and also came out looking stellar. The only thing that didn't come out too well was the sisal rug, but Jeff explained clearly it would probably not. However, they did improve it a bit. Jeff's team was professional, friendly and took very close care of my house & furniture. Jeff also called me the next day to follow up on the service and make sure everything was to our liking. You can tell he & his team really care & appreciate the business. I am moving into my great grandma's old place in a few days and desperately needed the carpets cleaned prior to moving in as I have an 8 month old who is crawling, and her house has not been inhabited for 15+ years (so needless to say there was a lot of dust that had collected, and there were stains that had been there for years and years!). I spoke directly with Jeffrey who was very nice and quoted me a very reasonable price over the phone. He came right on time and even knocked $10 off the price he had quoted me once he saw the spaces that needed to be cleaned. The house is old, so he had a little trouble with our breaker that kept shutting the electricity off, but he somehow made it work, and didn't complain about it or charge extra for the trouble. I've used a few carpet cleaners over the years and have gotten used to the gimmicks - special prices that I somehow don't qualify for, extra charges for "spot treatment", etc. But Jeff is totally different and Steam Pro Carpet Cleaning is simply amazing. We were EXTREMELY happy with the job Jeffrey and his team did on our carpet. I spoke to Jeffrey over the phone on Saturday to make an appointment for the following day and get an estimate. He called a couple hours ahead the next day to say they could come early if I'd like, so he and his crew of 3 other people came half an hour early. They took about an hour to clean an entire 2-bedroom apartment, and the price was exactly what he'd quoted over the phone.
