    Flight of Cider

This is a new type of drinking establishment that focuses on hard ciders. I like it because it's different. The product comes from Leonard Oakes vineyard in Niagara county and so Bar Cultivar also serves the Leonard Oakes wines. And because it's in the barrel factory, you can easily move over to the Lakeward spirits and try their beers and distilled spirits.

It's Sunday and now they have also added Bloody Marys. The chairs are comfortable, the mix is fresh. Everyone is happy.

LOVE this place. Full disclaimer I love cider, so this is a great addition to the Barrel Factory building. I'm not a huge fan of hard liquor so I was forced to have beer at the barrel factory. The decor is industrial with repurposed copper and a huge industrial steel door with the cider taps coming out of it. I loved the bar seats, they were the right height for short people and had backs....very comfortable. We ordered a flight a 3. Two thumbs up for the Steampunk cider, Rootstock blueberry. The Eve's Skelepear was a little to dry for me. We also got a free sample of the Steampunk Brown Snout was a perfect balance.

Specialty drink made with vodka and then made with moonshine - what a difference!

The burger had a ton of flavor and was made very well. It only came with meat and cheese tho. I thought it may of came with lettuce and tomato like burgers usually do but that didn't bother me. I added some ketchup and it was perfect for me. So good that I actually ate the entire thing and I NEVER finish my food. I think the flavor was just that good and it was cooked perfectly. For me personally this place is a bit on the pricier side but thankfully my friend paid for me without me even knowing. I was very appreciative for that. But I do think I would go back as long as I had the money. Service was great. We sat at the bar and our food came out in under 10 minutes. The place has a lot of seating as well. There's an upstairs with additional seating if you don't wanna be downstairs.

It was 2 stuffed banana peppers, 2 meatballs with red sauce and garlic toast. All good and the peppers did have a little kick that I love. We split a sandwich. Ordered Antonio Bing. It was a chicken cutlet with stuffed hot pepper, melted mozzarella on a garlic roll in the shape of a hogie roll. It came with one side so we chose the macaroni salad, very good and added a Caesar salad. Now for the best part of any meal ...dessert! We chose the peanut butter cookie sundae. It was a real peanut butter buttery cookie on the bottom topped with vanilla ice cream surrounded by whipped cream & drizzled with chocolate sauce so yummy

We had Anina as our server and she was attentive and very friendly! The cocktails were delicious and the food was flavorful and tasty! We were in town attending a large national conference for families affected by their condition, and many conference attendees were also staying at the hotel. When we arrived, the restaurant appeared to be about 80% empty. Our children mentioned to the waitress that they were hungry and tired, and the first response we received was, "Do you have a reservation?" She explained that they couldn't seat us because they were expecting a large party. Instead of being seated at a regular table, we were directed to the bar area, where the bartender kindly took care of us despite the fact that our group included two minors. We stayed for over an hour, and during that time, the large party never arrived. Meanwhile, we watched other guests without reservations get seated at tables without any apparent issue. The experience left us feeling singled out and, ultimately, discriminated against. Whether that was the intention or not, it reflected a disappointing lack of empathy and inclusion--especially considering that so many families with children with disabilities were staying at the hotel for the conference. I'm giving Bella Ciao three stars because the food was decent, the portions were generous, and the bartender provided good service. Unfortunately, the way we were treated upon arrival overshadowed what could have been an enjoyable dining experience.

I'd first had these at taste of buffalo last year and was wow'd by them, so wanted to enjoy them again. I ordered the version with balsamic and goat cheese, and was not disappointed. A good sized serving made for a hearty appetizer! We were able to sit at an outside table so the noise level inside was not an issue; it was easy for the 4 of us to carry on conversation.

This time around I decided to go with the Limonado and the Yuzu Rice Lager, and both were excellent. The Limonado was especially memorable. It's packed with flavour, refreshing, and easily my favourite of the two. The food was great too. I ordered the Chicken Mac & Cheese, and not only was it delicious, but the portion size was huge for the price. Plenty of flavour, plenty of food, and exactly what I was looking for before a busy day. Service was another highlight. Justin was tending bar and was awesome to chat with. Friendly, welcoming, and helped make the visit even more enjoyable. Between the great beer, tasty food, generous portions, and excellent service, this place left a great impression on me. I'm definitely planning on bringing my wife here very soon so she can experience it too. For more food, brewery, and travel reviews, check out our YouTube channel A&M Roam!
