Very sick and new to the area, new i had some kind of respotory infection so they sent me to get a chest X-ray. Said I was fine and sent me home with cough syrup. Next day I felt even worse (Now been sick for 2 months. ) Friend recommended Valley View so I went and they diagnosed me with Walking Pneumonia and a serious respotory infection. Doctor and staff were very friendly. At this place I never even met the Doctor. I will never go to this Clinic again. 1 star.​ read more

First of all we loved the doctor we had. Unfortunately he left and after booking me with two different providers( which I never saw because they left right away) the clinic finally called and told us we would have to find care elsewhere . They would not take care of a bill that they put the wrong code on. On top of that when we tried to pay the bill the young man got very argumentative and told us that I would not ever be allowed at the clinic!! My husband was just trying to pay it because we were done screwing with them. Bottom line the administrative staff is always rude . They will hardly ever even look up when they finally wait on you. The place is very depressing because it is in dire need of paint and updating . I have a feeling that it is family run and not run very well . read more

The provider I saw was nice, but it doesn't seem like this is a stable clinic with dependable staff. I was seen for Covid, which I was exposed to, and it's highly likely I have it. On top of that, I have underlying health conditions. The provider said someone would call me in the antiviral medication if there was someone available on the following day if my test was positive. He said there were issues getting coverage. Today when I called in, there was no one to call in a prescription or provide test results. It seems a waste of my time. I don't recommend. read more

I do not recommend this clinic to anyone. Urgent care staff are always rude and the wait is long. I used to be a patient here but I'm not any longer. They cannot keep good providers on staff. I used to see one exceptional provider here, who left to start his own practice, wise move. There was one other promising provider who started out happy and six months later was so stressed out she had to leave. And there was some nut job who worked there for a short time who diagnosed a good majority of his patients with a viral disorder and had us all on the same medication! This I learned from another provider. The last person I saw, final straw, was especially rude and told me that I was dishonest. Nothing could be further from the truth. One of the best health care centers I have ever been to! Apparently, some disgruntled ex employee tried flooding these guys with bad press, but don't pay attention! I had some really bad symptoms and was able to get a same-day appointment due to a cancelation. I was scared, and the front desk was very caring and professional. The doctor who treated me was also amazing; he was very thorough, listened to me, and ran a number of tests. Turned out I had an infection and he also discovered some other issues through additional testing that my last checkup at another provider failed to discover. THE URGENT CARE STAFF WAS AMAZING! And even the lab tech was extremely friendly. I am shocked at these other reviews. I am guessing that guy who used to work there prompted these people to leave fake reviews because Steck medical Group is very professional, personable, and they know how to relate to their patients while providing the best care. read more

This place is gross. People are rude. Wait was over an hour only 2 people ahead of us . Tinfoil look on windows made us leave as soon as we pulled up but hospital parking lot was full so we reluctantly came back. Heavy set lady at desk was very rude because my partner has a thick accent. I had to step in so she could talk to a white person and calm down. After that she was fine. The exam table is ripped like it came from goodwill and the pillow is smooshed from the person that was in here and there is a gross mark on it. It's plastic so it's obvious it was nit wiped off. They require masks but we didn't have any and they didn't offer any or have any available. I couldn't care less it's just interesting that the big bold sign they have stating we have to have masks yet don't supply any. This place is what I would expect from a free clinic. Plus it's FREEZING COLD IN HERE. I swear they can't pay the heat bill. read more

I came to this urgent care due to what I thought was a simple ear infection (9/19/2023). Unfortunately, whatever provider (if you want to call them a provider) I saw, did not do a thorough enough examination, and now nearly 6 months later I have a mastoid in my inner ear bone, and I can no longer hear in my left ear. I would not take a dying pet to this clinic! Additionally, my wife was at this clinic Monday for flu symptoms, tests taken, no results 2 days later!! Additionally, I have filed 2 complaints concerning this clinic with Kaiser. Kaiser was more than happy to file the complaint on our behalf. read more

Person working behind lab window RUDE, i would use other word but not going there. Main greeting, they had nothing ready, had re fill out paperwork again. Was trying to stay away from people while doing so and then had a staff member walk by me hacking up a lung. When i realized this was the person that would start the exam i was out of there. Compared to my former provider, kiser, this clinic is like a 50 year old clinic in a third world country. My provider is good and referred me to an excellent specialist. All areas need a modernization. I can see why clinicians move on as soon as possible. It keeps this Medicare recipient from having to drive 70 miles round-trip for regular services. Kiser kept raising its costs. Distance and cost will keep me here for now. read more

She then storms out and I hear her telling whatever.. so then my brother who is developmentally slow Says "maybe we should go. my tooth was hurting a few days ago".. so we walked out and she was out there and I said were going where we are treated better and I opened the door to the lobby and she tells me to get out or she is calling the cops with people in the lobby.. I just laughed.. what was she calling them for?? Cuz I was leaving?? They wont ever get my business again I feel like we were dis ruminated against. The doctor was great, staff were great. I don't think other reviewers are talking about the same place, this place, steck medical - woodland urgent care - doesn't do the quick covid tests, they told me they have never had that test. Their test takes a day or so but is more reliable. So the people complaining about waiting for an hour and a half must be confused with somewhere else. Anyway, they were great for us and we are thankful they have now extended their hours. read more

I have been to this clinic multiple times and every time the staff at the front desk have horrible attitudes, they will ignore you and then glare. For a person with extreme anxiety and a temper this is not pleasant when I'm already feeling unwell. I have NEVER felt so unwelcome in a place where I should feel safe. Rachael is horrible person. Rudest person I have seen encountered in my 56 years. In fact no one even close .i can't say I've even been treated badly at any other place. Went in for an abscess and Rachael treated us like dirt. When we said we were leaving to get better service elsewhere she threatened to call the cops on my sister in front of a lobby full of people. Don't ever come here for L&I cases. I was hurt on the job and came here for care. The staff are worthless and could care less if you get mended. I was injured in February and I'm still waiting on an approval for a MRI, steck hasn't even sent the request to L&I yet and my knee isn't getting any better. As far as cleanliness, there are tons of sick people constantly hacking in the waiting rooms, it's just one big petri dish and good luck with anyone answering a phone call. !!AVOID THIS PLACE!! read more

We're lucky to have emergency medical office open when we need it. No, it's not the hospital but they solved my issue in less than a half hour and it's all I needed. I wouldn't ask for opioids or serious medical care there - they have limitations. They're a temporary fix to get us through and they did a great job of it for me. read more

I showed up for my appointment today only to find a sign on the door stating the clinic was permanently closed! I called the clinic asking why they did not bother contacting me; their response was they did not send out notifications. They said I could come in to their other office now for my appointments. Not going to happen for a couple of reasons: Obviously they are untrustworthy and for a medical office that is scary and unacceptable. Also why would I want to drive an extra 20 miles. read more

I do not reccomend this urgent care ever, unless you want to go home having been treated like a drug addict that's looking for a fix.... I'll save you some time and money,.....they will reccomend you take the miracle drug "Motirn" and tell you to call the ER in the morning. Just saw Owen PA-C, in the urgent care, he spent less then 5 mintues with me and diagnosed the pain in my lung (both front and back) as a pulled muscle!!!! This guy didn't listen to me, didn't take me seriously, and sent me home with cough syrup!! I have lung pain, and can't hear out of my ears for 24 hours. And then he told me I could go to the ER if I wanted to, like I was a drug addict looking for a fix. I barely even have a cough! It's like he keyed in on the word cough, made a snap judgement on what was wrong and didn't listen to anything else I said. I walked away still in so much pain I can't lay down. With my ears so plugged I can't hear out of them. Just listening to me talk and looking in my eyes you can tell I'm super sick. What a waste of time and money, and to top it off to be treated like I'm someone who abuses antibiotics and pain meds. I haven't been to an urgent care for 5 years because I don't go unless I am super sick!! Seriously Mr. Owen If you are afraid to treat patients and prescribe meds, or you don't care to listen to them, then get a different job.You took my time and money and sent me away untreated, reccomending I get treatment somewhere else. Next time I won't waste my time and money on this urgent care, I will go straight to the ER, I wish they would have told me from the beginning that they are not into treating people's illness' and sent me to the ER before they took my money! read more

We came here to get covid 19 tests so that we could be sure no one had it. They did the tests in the parking lot but they never disclosed that the doctor was going to bill us for a visit. The nurse did the nasal swab in the parking lot and the receptionist the paperwork. The nurse and receptionist were very, very nice and we liked them. At the very end, after 1 hour and 15 minutes to get the tests done, the doctor walks out to one side of the car and peers at me through the window and says all okay or something like that. I said fine and he turned around and walked back in. They billed us for multiple office visits and he never saw the rest of the family in the back of the car. They billed us something like 200 for the test and 244 for the doctor visit so almost 500 per person for a covid test! ultimately our insurance paid 200 per person after discounts for a covid test. This is a problem with our medical system that we can't get covid tests done for a reasonable cost and doctors charge for office visits that they don't do. I feel like it's billing fraud. They also were very disorganized about calling us with the results. We did not go into the building, it does look older from the exterior but I can't speak to the inside. read more

I took my daughter here because my primary doctor didn't have any openings. The doctor seemed like he was in a hurry when we saw him. Immediately diagnosed my daughter with ringworm before even looking at all the spots on her. He gave her a prescription for some anti fungal cream and sent us on our way. I left feeling a little surprised and skeptical that it was ringworm but we thought he knew what he was doing. So fast forward about 4 days of applying the cream and the wound literally went from being the size of a quarter to about the size of a large apple. It was considerably worse and my daughter was in terrible pain. I ended up taking her to the ER because we knew it wasn't ringworm and didn't want to risk it getting even worse. The doctor at the hospital knew right away we were misdiagnosed and said she had a staph infection. With the antibiotics he prescribed my daughter was finally able to feel relief within a couple days. Won't be going back, google does a better job diagnosing than this place. read more

I agree with Amber 100 percent. If you are in need of perscription refill please don't hold your breath; it has taken me as long as 10 days to get one. My husband became so frustrated by what I can only describe as incompetance that he told off a staff member and he was told he was no longer welcome at the clinic. They changed my primary care people 6 times in as many years, outrageous!!! It makes me wonder why there seems to be so many personnel leaving thier employ. We no longer use Steck. read more
