I would, without a doubt order off the menu the prime rib buffet on the weekend can be delicious if you're ready for it to get your moneys worth. During the week, the catfish and shrimps are some of my favorites on the buffet.

I used to come here for lunch a decade ago...but we made our way back about a month ago and had the chicken fried steak. It was spot on fantastic, and the veg of the day was asparagus and it was delicious! It was a real chicken fried steak too, great batter, delicious gravy...a fantastic meal. Our server was sweet, attentive and did a great job! The restaurant itself was remarkably clean...and I mean clean. They have been here for a long time, but all the pictures on the wall and Knick-Max's on shelves were dusted and clean. We went again on a Saturday, for their buffet. AYCE ribs, chicken, shrimp, and sirloin carved on the spot...and we again left stuffed to the gills. As a bonus, soft serve ice cream machine in the back room... free dessert!

This place had the BEST fried chicken, jalapeño chicken bites, ham, coffee, and mini muffins we nearly ever had! Came on a Sunday so it was an old homemade style cooked southern buffet with mashed potatoes, Mac and cheese, choice of meat at the carving station and even had some fettuccine Alfredo in the line for $16.99 -- worth it! There's a salad and dessert bar too. Choice or two cobblers and a self-serve vanilla ice cream machine. Excellent service! We had hours to kill before a flight and we're welcomed to stay and hangout for as long as we needed before heading to the airport. Perfect ending to our Oklahoma trip!

Food was so good, waiters are very nice and had a great atmosphere. I got the loaded burger and it was amazing

What a Meal!!!! Friday Buffet- Prime Rib, Alfredo Chicken, Chicken Alfredo, Mash Potato, your choice of cooked veggies then of course a sales bar + Dessert. A wonderful woman came to our table asking about our day, explained the buffet and the rules in place to keep us safe she also told us about the history of the restaurant and was very proud of the fact everything on the menu is made fresh and in house. We could taste the love and freshness and plan on returning!!!! The best part of all was the price

I wish I could give them a higher rating but I can't. I've ate at steer inn many times even when I was a child. Since my wife and I were in the area and decided to swing in and eat. The restaurant was clean and they had 4 waitresses and it wasn't busy it was 3pm. My wife and I placed our order and waited one hour for our entrees, we thought no big deal. However, we waited for refills that we didn't receive which was disappointing, the waitresses were walking around with some others kids who looked like they were 12 and didn't seem like they wanted to work. One top of everything when I received my bill there was a charge for using a card on my bill. I would have disputed that but didn't want to waste another hour to do so. Hopefully they realize with the new legislation that goes into effect November 1st that it will be illegal to charge those who use cards. The food was good but the service makes me not want to go back. The really enjoy this restaurant but I will definitely be hesitant to not eat here again.

The only thing on the buffet that I got that was hot! Was the peach cobbler!

For some reason there is an air filter attached to the outside of each air conditioning intake vents, that caught my eye. They are congested with years and years of anything and everything that may have floated in the air. An attractive, appetizing collection of gray allergens, shed skin cells and hair. Look at the picture. Why do people eat here? It can't be blamed on beer. They don't serve any. Maybe it was great a few years ago? I am not going to waste any more of my time or yours. They are known for offering gluten-free food but I am not sure if their whole menu is gluten-free. This was a perfect opportunity to try it out since it was a week day. We arrived for an early dinner so it was not busy at all. It was really quiet inside since it wasn't busy but I can only imagine how fun it is during their busy times. They are not open Saturday and Sunday. It is a small location but easy to find. As we stepped inside we were a little lost as to what to do first, wait for a hostess, find a table and wait to order or walk up to the small counter area to order. My husband asked and we were instructed to order then find a table to sit. I love a good Chicken Fried Steak so I already knew what I was going to order. It came with mashed potatoes and of course, gravy, plus a roll. It would be nice if another veggie was offered to off-set a carb heavy meal. My husband ordered the hamburger steak with mashed potatoes, green beans and roll. He later noticed a very tiny sign next to the register advertising pot roast and was a little disappointed he didn't see that first. Pot roast is his favorite. For dessert, he thought he saw coconut creme pie in the cooler but it was lemon meringue which he is not a fan. He settled on the pecan pie cheesecake that we shared. It was a surprisingly great pie. All of our food was great and exceeded our expectations. We would like to come back again so he can try the pot roast and I will order the CFS again. This restaurant definitely has a small town feel where they know their regulars by name. I would recommend it to friends and family.

Service was spot on throughout the entire night. We started with the deviled eggs, half plain and half Chef's Choice. The Chef's Choice were the best, drizzled with chili crisp (or pickled Szechuan peppercorns) and topped with a tiny gherkin and fresh dill. The soup of the day was a cabbage and radish soup. It was interesting and very homey but I wish I had ordered the salad. I had the Novarro Farm sweet Potato Gnocchi (kale and pecan pesto, Birch Bottom Farm Georgia candy roaster, fresh chevre). I was a little hesitant about the kale pesto but should NOT have been. This dish was delicious--great garlic flavor. Would order again. The burger looked amazing and while The Hubs said it was good, he also said it needed some more spice. They had a couple of rotating beers from Heirloom--a Mexican Lager and an Italian Pilsner. I had the Water Lily cocktail, their take on an Aviation. Order it just because it's beautiful (and refreshing). The photo does not depict the deep color of it. I asked what other gin based cocktails they had on their menu. They didn't but the server/bartender offered to make me a Bee's Knees for the second round. It was delicious! The atmosphere here is casual but the food is elevated. I kept thinking this is what a French bistro would be like inside. I want to come back and shop the market. Oh, and the apple pie was excellent as well!

I am so sad to find out that they are now charging a credit card processing fee. they suggest you pay with cash to avoid the fee but when you dine at an establishment like this with several people the bill is usually a few hundred dollars and who, now days, has that kind of money in their wallet!? I have worked in the restaurant industry before and realize that the processing fee is something that the card companies charge the restaurant to use their equipment BUT with a place like this and the amount of money for a piece of fish or steak that they charge, that is absurd! I really hope they reconsider.
