I came here for Tuesday happy hour later during the evening. Love that they have happy hour all day and not just a couple hours. They had some drink and menu specials, but still come and expect to pay a relative amount. There are limited happy hour food options. I ended up getting the crab dip and it was pretty good. The bread that came with it could have been better. It was just basic, needed a little toastiness to it. The vibe was pretty cool though, and I liked the bar area. Great area around a little nightlife, very walkable. I didn't try a whole lot of items because it was a little expensive and I didn't go there to eat a lot, but all things are these days it seems. My husband and I ordered via doordash a couple of days ago and were super disappointed. When We Dine In we both always get the blackened chicken alfredo because it's delicious. And we have ordered it through doordash a couple of times and it's still been good. But this time it was extremely bland. I couldn't even finish mine. The whole point of that dish is the gorgeous sauce and spice. None of that was there. This can't be blamed on doordash unfortunately. I was really disappointed because I was looking forward to it. I absolutely loved my experience at Bourbon St. Cafe! There is always wonderful service and good food every time. I ordered the Seafood Pasta and it was delicious!! I love the buttery, creamy sauce and the seafood was seasoned very well. It may become my next favorite dish! My boyfriend ordered the Blackened Catfish and it was very good. It wasn't dry and the rice was cooked to perfection. Lastly, we ordered the Banana Foster Cheesecake and it was amazing as always! I love it so much, I would stop by just to have a bite! I went with the Nawlins Hot Chicken sandwich. The chicken breast is marinated in hot chicken marinade for 24 hours. After being fried, the chicken is tossed in their Orleans Hot Sauce. The marinade & hot sauce the chicken was tossed in was subtle smoky & subtle, I enjoyed it. I kept it light on the slaw, that with the combination of pickles on the sandwich made me enjoy it even more. The lemon aioli was subtle as well, everything complimented each other. Our second time here was much better than the first, although the first time was good too. We came for brunch and settled on the Benedict trio and the alligator "cheesecake". It's actually a quiche but it was absolutely delicious and is served with a side salad. It's not on the menu. All of the Benedicts were excellent as well. The pork was my least favorite though and the one with crab was my favorite. They were served with breakfast potatoes. Potatoes were perfectly cooked with seasoning, bell peppers, one onions. There is an upcharge for the one with crab. Our drinks were a little lackluster but still decent. I had to ask the bartender to add garnish to the Bloody Mary. The menu even states it comes with olives, pearl onion, etc. She delivered it to the table plain. No garnish at all. We were seated in the bar area at a booth. The bar is decorated with a fun New Orleans vibe. I like it better in there than the main dining area. They have other brunch items in the menu that sound amazing. A friend and I ate here on February 1, 2025 around 2pm. Our server was Lizzie, she was very sweet and attentive. I ordered the Fitzgerald Salad with Salmon. The salmon was hot and cooked to perfection and the salad was fresh. The dressing (Pepper Jelly Vinaigrette) was delicious and the perfect dressing for this salad. My friend ordered the Chicken Bon Ton with a side of mashed potatoes. Everything was delicious and cooked expertly. There were no crumbs left on either plate. The atmosphere was calm and not loud at all. My only complaint would be parking, but it's not their fault; that parking lot is tiny and cramped. The location was too easy to find and in walking distance to where I was staying. The ambiance was warm and friendly. The waitress was extremely friendly and attentive, with the best attitude who seemed to enjoy working there. The food was delicious! I ordered the Jalapeño Boudin Egg Roll to start my wonderful food experience and did I mention the sauce that came with it had the right amount of kick to it (I fell in love with it)! My husband enjoyed the spice and flavor of the Bbq chicken but thought it was too salty. I really liked the red beans and rice, it was flavorful. The salmon dish with Caesar salad was really good. The oysters on the half shell were very fresh and tasty. The crawfish etouffee with dirty rice is a must have. The seafood salad is refreshing and had a nice amount of shrimp and crabmeat. I tried the jelly salad dressing. It gave the salad a sweet zesty flavour. The menu had a very good selection so it was hard for us to decide what to try. Apparently, we're not the only ones that were served a less than par dinner. The hostess was pleasant. When we arrived she opened the door for us. For years, Bourbon Street was a dinner tradition before going to concerts. This was our second dinner at the Tulsa location . First time, the food was just ok however they went all out to Celebrate Fat Tuesday. It really was a fun evening. We normally eat at the OKC location. Everything about our meal was disappointing. Our server was good. She had black "dots" on her face. I thought they were huge blackheads. My friend thought they were tattoos. She also had a nasty cold sore on her lip. The lobster was way over cooked. It was served with the tail, The lobster was black on the bottom. We couldn't figure out what caused that. The drawn butter was weird. It was dark brown with added things floating in it. I do understand that there is an up charge for additional items . I'm fine with that. An up charge for extra drawn butter seemed a little over the top. We ordered our steaks rare. I don't know how they did it, one end was rare and the other medium well. It didn't taste like a good ribeye and it was greasy. The mashed potatoes were too salty to eat. There was no way the mushrooms were fresh. They looked and tasted like canned mushrooms. I like canned mushrooms. Describing canned tiny mushrooms as sautéed, didn't work for me. Did we complain no? Surely, the management has seen reviews and eaten there. I thought that management knew what was being served. Anyway, it was so bad, that we decided to break our concert dinner tradition and find another restaurant in the future. read more
