Stefani is wonderful! I did a lot of researching online for a makeup artist and hair stylist to do my hair and makeup for my out of town wedding. It is really hard to find someone that you can trust to make you beautiful on your wedding day, especially when it is hours away from where you live. From the first day I met her at my hair/makeup trial, Stefani was great! I didn't really know what I wanted yet, but I had lots of pictures to show her. She took all of these and did my hair/makeup better than I could have imagined. She was sweet, professional, friendly and did great work. I met with her again a few months later because I had change my mind about my hair...she was more than willing to meet with me and do another trial to make sure I was happy with my hair. Again, she made me look awesome!! On my wedding day, she and her associate Kristin showed up on time...with all of their magical tools and makeup to make us all look beautiful! They set up quickly and got to work on us. They did an excellent job on my bridesmaids and my Mom! She spent extra special time on my hair and makeup and again...made me look beautiful!! I just LOVE how she did my makeup and my hair was GORGEOUS!! She gave me the perfect look. I didn't want to look like I had tons of makeup on but I didn't want the natural look either. She was spot on! I had the perfect makeup and it lasted all day!! My pics turned out great! Every time she does my hair and makeup, I look better and better. I wish I could go to her everyday! I got married on August 23, 2014 at the Cayucos creek barn. I was so happy to find Stefani to do my hair and makeup. She is talented, easy going, honest, and personable. She did a outstanding job on my hair and makeup and exceeded my expectations. She was very detailed and had great suggestions. Stefani ROCKS! I prefer going to a stylist for my haircuts. I hate it when I have to look for a new one. But when you move, what choice do you have? In the last 3 or so years I've relocated 3 times. So yes, here I go again. I decided to search on Yelp and somehow found Stefani. Pretty hard to ignore all the fantastic reviews. I looked up her web site and was wowed some more. Since I have a background in IT and web stuff, I always tend to favor businesses that have a good online presence. It gives me a sense of confidence, to be honest. So I called and got voice mail. I got impatient and emailed. Well the next morning I got an email reply. Stefani and I emailed back and forth a couple of times. I found her to be very prompt, professional and courteous. I was in a hurry (it had been like 6 weeks since my last haircut), but she was booked up until the following week. She offered to refer me to someone else but I decided to wait. I arrived at my appointment on a weekday afternoon and Stefani was ready for me. We got to talking about my haircut preferences, but I'm not too good at explaining what I need. I usually have a better time describing what I don't like after it's done. Fortunately my hair grows pretty fast. So I decided to let Stefani figure out how she'd cut my hair and just trust her expertise. I told her that if I wasn't happy with it we could make adjustments at my next visit. When she was done, I thought it looked quite nice. I never know if I'll be completely happy until the next time I wash my hair. Once I had done so the next day, I still loved my haircut! Woo hoo! Usually I go through several stylists before I find a keeper. But I scored a perfect 10 the first time in SLO! I found Stefani to be very approachable, easy to talk to, attentive, and sweet. Stefani is amazing! I've never been a girl into the artistry of makeup or hair, and get nervous about doing it, as it's not something I ever do. But for my wedding I wanted to find someone for my mom (whos a total tomboy)and myself. Stefani was the perfect fit. She made us feel comfortable and transformed us into a beautiful bride and MOB. Like other reviews have stated she's is undoubtedly talented and her prices are extremely reasonable compared to others in the area. Her studio is also clean, and beautiful. You can tell her heart and soul has been put into every detail. But I think the true difference you get with Stefani, is the feeling like your best friend is transforming you into another beautiful version of yourself, not just with her artistry but with her words of wisdom and love. I have gone into salons before and asked for an inch to be trimmed off my waist length hair. I have walked out with shoulder length hair which is not what I wanted at all. With that being said, I am really protective of my hair and who cuts and colors it. I drive almost four hours for Stefani to do my hair. She is amazing with bright funky colors along with normal everyday colors. I am always extremely pleased every time I get up from her chair. She never cuts my hair shorter than I want but I will let her if she says it needs to be trimmed more because I trust her. Talented, down to earth, skilled, amazing. After moving to SLO about a year ago, I did my search for someone to do my hair in the area. I found some good reviews on Stefani and decided to go to her, as I am trying to go blonde. After getting my hair done a couple days ago, I wish I could give her 5 stars as she seems like a nice person. My highlights didn't turn out the way I wanted them. She suggested to use some purple shampoo and I tried that, with no luck. If one thing I dislike is brassy bleach color. I have gotten many highlights before, and never had this issue. Now I will have to figure a day where I can go to back to LA to get it fixed. Not sure if the developer wasn't the correct level or what happened. =( read more

Throughout the trial and planning process, Stefani was flexible and responsive to my desired style for my wedding. Even though my wedding was smaller (3 hair styles only, on site), she did not balk as spending her morning with me and my two ladies. I had brows and balayage completed with her earlier in the week as well (beautifully and professionally done). Her work with color, though not a part of my experience, is impressive as well. When I asked for adjustments, Stefani happily completed them, even though it required almost entirely re­doing the updo. I wish that I could find someone as great as Stefani where I live in LA at such economical prices!!
