I have been going here for a couple of years. I was introduced here when I went to an upscale salon in Newton that burned my hair. Stefani is an expert in color- a real artist and took this horror show and made it the best color and cut just from what she knows. That said not many stylists are real color experts. She is. Her cuts are fantastic. How many times I tell a stylist what I want and they end up giving me what THEY want. Stefani takes all the time for you. Her prices are more than competitive. In fact they are lower than many chains and her products are all highest quality out there. I am not bothered giving reviews but I had to stop to do this. I posted this photo. I had gone to a high end salon in Newton that my 'ombre' left me platinum ALL OVER with three inches of burned hair for the chemicals. This is how i met Stefani. She took me in last minute and used toner and color and cut out the dead and left me (this photo I took as soon as I got home) with the best color and cut. Crazy that the worst day- she totally fixed it. She is truly a color expert and doesn't just 'cut'. I saw a review with someone who said that they hated their hair. Stefani is always asking if this is what you like and regardless how long it takes she does not leave you until you are happy (that said- if you say nothing during the cut- you blame yourself). She knows sometimes I ask her to frame my face more or get a bit more 'edgy'. She does exactly what you want. On August 12, 2015, I had my hair cut and colored at Stefani's Salon. Choosing new salon specialists is difficult for me because I have been disappointed so many times by practitioners who don't listen to what I ask for and just do their own thing. The salon was neat, clean and beautifully decorated with original art. The appointment began on time. I explained the part of my hair color that I wanted her to match and explained that I did not want to come out with any yellow, gold or grey tints. (My hair has turned mostly white). I also requested that she cut off only 1 to 1 1/2 inches and that I did not want any feathering or layers - just all one length. She listened, repeated back what I wanted and did EXACTLY what I asked for. The cost of the color, cut and blow dry was very reasonable. Overall, I couldn't have been more pleased with my Stefani's Salon experience. I give my highest recommendation to this salon! I recently just got a job in Framingham and was new to the area and was in the market for a new hairdresser. Stefani bought a car through my work ( Bernardi Toyota) and I figured I'd give her a shot. Upon arrival to my first appointment she already had a few ideas and even a new color picked out that she recommended. She didn't do any color or styling without making sure I was comfortable with the choices first. She did a great job of looking at pictures I had of different styles and using her expertise to give me suggestions on what she thought would look best. Needless to say I am now a regular customer at Stefanis Salon and have been for the past few months. She makes you feel right at home and I never doubt any of the suggestions she makes as I have been more than happy after every appointment. WOW -- Enjoy S's experience and talent for a beautiful new you! Like another customer, my hair is difficult to manage, style, cut and even comb at times. Not every stylist ends up with something suited to my particular needs. S. is in a category by herself. Clearly her talent, experience and 'eye' will help out anyone who walks through the door. I recommend her to ALL! When I explained I wanted a Reverse Bob, she knew exactly what I wanted, didn't try to talk me out of it after studying my face and hair, and then proceeded to cut my mange expertly. The cut suits my chubby face, hugs my head and is sooooooo becoming. I wanted highlights and she knew instantly not only what color to apply but what has previously been done (unsuccessfully). I just had an appointment last night after purchasing the groupon - and I have to say it was one of my best experiences in awhile! I purchased the groupon for a haricut and partial foil and was able to make an appointment for Friday night right after work. Stefani did an amazing job on my hair. She was very knowledgeable about hair and gave me great tips on how to take care of it. I could tell she really knew what she was talking about and knew how to handle hair. I've found in the past that it's extremely tough to find stylists who really know how to do color well - especially blondes. However she gave me the perfect color. She also did an amazing job cutting my hair and styling it afterword. I also purchased a Wella leave in conditioner from her. I normally don't like to buy high end hair products, but I was sold after having an appointment with her. I would recommend this place to anyone - it was an amazing experience! read more

I found Stefani's several years ago. Since then she has become my beauty guru! From the color and style of my hair, to the products I use on it (ask her about how to keep your hair full and luxuriously thick!!), the products I use for my face (Amino Genesis Line, the best I have ever used - including Arbonne) to her wonderful introduction of micro-current facials that keep my skin firm and wrinkle-free, she is a true all around artist and muse when it comes to beauty. On top of that, the atmosphere is delightful and energetically feminine, making you feel that way, and Stefani herself is a soft-toned gentle artist with a good eye. As I watched my friends begin to go to her, I could always tell when Stefani had done their color or cut. It is always beautiful! She needs to stay around until I am 95 at least! read more

After a constant quest for a good parlor in the Natick/Fram area, I have finally found 'The One!' Stefani is a one-woman-show who will first hear you out on what you want, then give her suggestions on what she thinks will suit you. Luckily, we were on the same page about haircut and highlights (Caramel by Wella) and we both (plus my husband) loved the end result. I came out looking/feeling absolutely fab and ready to hit the numerous holiday parties that I had lined up and enjoy the attention I receive for my new look. If I could give 6 stars I would. If you want Newbury street quality (which from experience is not always what you think it is) with someone who knows exactly what she is doing and an expert in color (and you never find that) then go to Sefani. Her prices are lower than anyone else within 20 miles and will accommodate you into a schedule. I just went to a high end salon in Newton for on Ombre and the woman made me platinum blonde because she thought I would look good in it without asking me. Stefani made time in her schedule and fit me in and brought me back to the perfect color. Don't wait to have a bad experience as many of us have had. Seriously go here. read more

I really like Stefani as a person and as an artist/hair stylist. She is a positive, cheerful person who exudes calm and confidence. I trust her with my hair having cut and colored it for a few months now. I use to get my hair done on Newbury Street so my standards are high. When I get my hair colored , Stefani always does a meticulous, neat, and thorough job, making sure she gets the problem areas. I hate having gray sideburns while the rest of my hair is colored. Stefani works on her own right now so you might have to wait but it isn't very long, as there are plenty of things to look at around the room which is like an art gallery. read more

I went here for the first time today and all I can say is WOW Stefani is a hair goddess! She really took the time to figure out what I wanted.. Originally I thought full highlights , she genuinely cared about what I had in mind and what would look best on me and redirected me into lightening my base and adding partial highlights. Beyond happy with how my hair came out, I was always told by each salon I went to I can't get anywhere close to blonde in one visit and she was able to work her magic and gave me a perfect cut and color! I have been having my hair cut, colored and highlighted for a couple of years with Stefanie. She is ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC! I originally colored my hair as a dark auburn with a couple of highlights. It looked nice BUT what she came up with is ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! I never would have thought of this hair color for my age. I get MANY, MANY compliments. She changed it to a ginger blonde with 7 blonde highlights with an Symetrical (sp?) hair cut. I am 63 y/o but I feel I look a lot younger because of Stefanie's cut, color and highlights. Stefani is a great stylist and has the patience of a saint! She's creative but also wants to give you the style you want and are comfortable with. Stefani did 2 prom hair styles for my daughter this sping and both came out great. She knows exactly how to make the style work with whatever hair type you have. She also did my daughter's makeup for both proms and it came out fantastic. In no time flat she was able to create a look that was age appropriate and beautiful. I went in with a Groupon about a month and a half ago for full foil and cut. Not only was this one of the best cuts of my life, but the highlights were BEAUTIFUL, just what I wanted, and have now grown out flawlessly. To TOP IT ALL OFF- She did it all in less than 2 hours!! Normally, other stylists I've previously gone to would take around 3 hours for full foil and cut so I was ELATED when Stefani finished so quickly while still doing a fantastic job. I first found out about Stefanie's - when I saw a coupon in the MetroWest Daily News. She happily redeemed the coupon and provided me with professional service. Stefani really takes the time to listen and understand what you are asking for. She then adds her considerable artistic knowledge and experience, and gives you more than you could wish. I starting going to Stephani's Salon because my grandmother went there. I fell in-love with the way Stephani cuts my hair. I also have her foil it and it always comes out perfect. I live in Hartford Connecticut, and yes I travel over an hour and a half to have her do my hair. I am never disappointed, it always looks wonder. I have been coming here for years. You cannot get anything other than a perfect cut and color. Stefani is also an expert in fixing a botched home or other stylist error. When going for anyone who uses color you need to have a color expert and who can have the vision to see it complete. I challenge anyone to find a more professional stylist. The absolute best cut and highlight I have ever gotten! There was a great deal on Groupon so I decided to give Stefani's a try and I'm so happy I did. Stefani is so sweet and did an amazing job on my hair, I love it! Great dye job! I am always trying new hair salons in order to keep up with my blonde hair and dark brown roots. I FINALLY found a great stylist who instead of just foiling me with bleach and having my roots grow in quickly, she did an all over color first to prevent the dark roots i get so quickly. No one has ever done this nor suggested it to me before. I love the way my hair looks and its been weeks.. no roots , perfectly blonde, many compliments and seeing her next month :) read more
