The before and after of my scalp was crazy, you think you're a clean person until you see what they can do! What I really appreciated is they are very good about the little things like after they rinse your hair they make sure to dry out your ears before moving to the next step, which I thought was so great because sometimes when water is left in your ears, it can be annoying and itchy and I feel like that always happens when you're getting a haircut lol. read more

Finally!!!! A head spa! And it actually is better than the ones I've had overseas. I got my hair colored with Tracey and did the 75 min head spa (shampoo, massage, facial, neck and shoulder massage, conditioning and blow dry) with Kieu and they did such and awesome job I literally passed out! Definitely relaxing, but don't expect what you see on TikTok. No communication about what was being used or what was happening, I'm so glad I'm not allergic to many things. They did require a full prepay to book and contrary to what was said online there was no scalp analysis without paying an extra fee. Didn't even get the option to add. They use basic shampoo bowls and sprayers that you see in a hair salon and also, in a gentle manner, but still a little strange, washed my face with the sprayer then dried it with tissues. Go for a relaxing time, but don't expect to get the traditional Asian spa scalp treatment. read more

My friends and I made a Sunday morning reservation and drove up from San Diego to enjoy the Stella treatment, and it was such a wonderful experience! I wish we lived a little closer so we could go more often. We started with the scalp viewing which is an add on, then were seated in our chairs. I recommend wearing a tank top and/or sports bra for the massage portion. The treatment started with a facial and scalp massage, then shampoo and conditioning treatment. Next was the facial mask and hair steam during which we enjoyed an arm massage. After the hair and face rinse I thought the session was winding down, but an amazing neck and back massage came next! I felt so relaxed and sleepy when it was all over. After the treatment, we did another scalp viewing and then a blow dry so you're not walking out with wet hair. The ladies who did our treatments were all so friendly and the massages felt great, it really was such an enjoyable experience and I look forward to coming back! read more

I will begin by saying they have good customer service and are kind. However, they are not properly trained like a previous review stated. Wish I would have listened. They will DAMAGE your hair. The scalp massage is way too aggressive. I left with hair breakage and a sore scalp. I will not go back or ever recommend this place. There must be change. The spa was able to schedule my party of 4 within a timely manner. I got the Stella package & was pretty disappointed. The neck rest was uncomfortable and hard & they sprayed water on my forehead to wash off the facial. I felt like she was very rough with me. I had water running down my back constantly. What a phenomenal, relaxing and rejuvenating experience! I've never experienced a Headspa before and I've always wanted to try it out so I'm so happy Stella Headspa has opened. My scalp feels so much better and healthier after my treatment. Along with my scalp treatment, I got a mini facial and one of the best shoulder, neck and back massages I've ever had. My sweet friend booked me a 75 min stella massage. I've been hearing nothing but good things about this place! I have kids so this was really nice having some time to myself for stress relief & let me tell you... I left feeling like a whole new person. The chair was so comfortable and they give you a blanket to stay warm & a pillow for support. The massage was exactly what I needed. Not only do they give head massages but also your arms, neck & shoulder as well! I tie my hair up in a high pony tail a lot so I felt like my tension was relieved. I visited Stella Headspa on a Sunday morning with my girlfriend and we had a great time. Booking was really easy through their website. It will show what time slots they have available. Kim and Dao helped the both of us out. Both ladies were really nice and did an amazing job. We felt very welcomed the second we checked in. I like how they included a complimentary blow dry for my girlfriend. I believe it's included with all services. We did the 75 minute treatment and it included many different things but I liked the scalp massage, scalp steaming, and arm/shoulder massage the most. The chairs are reclining which was nice and relaxing. They have mellow music in the background and it's a great way to truly unplug and relax. I highly recommend coming to this place at least once or twice a month to really release whatever stress or tension you're feeling. We also bought a package which includes 5 total treatments and it lasts two years. It's a great deal and you can share it with others. We will definitely be back. read more

Upon arrival you are escorted to a small room to change into robe, loved the privacy. Other locations do not have this. Next, you head to the private room. The washing of the hair took what seemed 30 minutes but it was so relaxing along with the scalp massage & music playing in the background. It felt invigorating and I saw they use tea tree oil shampoo so that makes sense. As for the facial aspect if you get that package, the lady was not very careful and it seemed this was not her forte. It all ended with a back massage while in sitting position. Which I thought was a bit odd but relaxing nonetheless. The lady was professional the entire time. The drying of the hair was completed between two ladies which was great because I have so much hair. The one thing I was bummed out about is that they did not show me my scalp with the device before and after. I would like to have seen this :/ I do not think I will return since it is far from me but it is something you have to try at least once!
