Great mani pedi! On the day before thanksgiving, they were very busy but had lots of techs working. Our wait was only about about 15 minutes for my daughter and I. Four different techs helped us, between two manicures and two pedicures. All were very friendly. Some spoke English clearer than others so we did repeat what we wanted several times, but I've come to expect that and friendliness is more important to me. We both got pedicure #1 and a full set. Gel for her and powder dip for me. My daughter messed up one toe before my service was complete, and they were very nice about fixing it on the spot. Then she sat under the dryer for a while, thankfully no more mishaps there. Compared to other Stella locations, I would say staff here is friendlier and made more of a team effort to serve customers. Wait times looked normal, good mix of new and repeat customers. They don't have the small manicure chairs for kids, and we were not offered beverages of any kind. Seems they are not able to provide a regular manicure without gel. It must take a different product because what ever they did do, chips immediately. Acrylics! I haven't done acrylics in several years... but I had a sudden engagement and my nails where not so bright, so I decided to get acrylics. I was so nervous I would not be happy with the result, I am picky LOL...I've been coming to this location for peddiecure and manicure, I love it. Not a long wait time for walk in, great location and service is great. Kevin, did a great job, I showed him some photos of what I was looking to achieve and right away he put me at ease, everytime he saw me a little nervous he would confort me by saying "dont worry it will look like the pictures". I received the regular pedicure plus callus remover (5 extra) so my pedicure was $40. It was very nice, although I'm not sure I received any massage or lotion. My 4 year old daughter came in with me and got a pedicure. Her technician was nice. Her feet are so tiny. No calluses or dry dead skin but she did get her toes filed and painted and soaked her feet in water. They came out cute. When I got to the register I was shocked her pedicure was $32 dollars. I was sticker shocked and paid and left. I'll unfortunately drive down the road a bit and get her pedi for $20. I just can't justify the price. She was done well before me, they didn't have to scrub her feet, no massage chair, smaller tub of water to fill, super bummed. read more

First off, I asked for pink and white acrylics. The guy that did these didnt know what wa pink and white was. Second, I came in with no fake nails on and really short nails so he didnt even ask how long I wanted these acrylics or what shape. Great experience! After a long and busy move, my mom and I really needed a good Mani-Pedi and Stella Nails did not disappoint. I got a classic mani pedi and my mom got a dip mani and classic pedi. Called and was told there was no wait, I put my name on the list and arrived ten minutes later. I arrived and all techs were buys, no problem, I was then directed to sit in a pedicure chair. As I say there 4 different people came in behind me. Once one tech finished with someone he called over two of the ladies to sit in other pedicabs chairs and filled them with water and began serving them. I had sat there patiently for almost 30 minutes and was skipped over. No one cared. Wonderful experience with Train, I had seen all the reviews about her and I FINALLY got an appointment with her! Ive been to this salon about many time's with 3 different nail techs. I always had problems after with broken nails, bubbles in Polish, poor shaping of nails etc.. Train did an excellent job on my nails. She was fast and good. No complaints. I had a broken nail and no one could seem to keep a tip on....we will see how long this one lasts. I have really short nail beds so it's difficult to keep a tip on until the nail grows out. I got a nail fixed, rebase acrylic In and out in under 45 minutes. Love it! I've been all over Summerville trying to find a good nail tech.....I think I found her! I'll be back. Awful service, there's nobody to check on people that come in. That makes you be sitting for minutes until someone notices you picked a nail polish, on top of that you call to schedule an appointment and they say you don't need one. After finally being noticed one of the girls was asked if she could do my pedicure once she was done she nodded her head and then they took all their time to decide who would do my pedicure... thankfully I wasn't in urge need to get one, so I left. Went to the one in Dorchester rd. Called yesterday to make an appointment for 3 pedis. They said they only do walk ins on Sunday. We arrived 10 min early to find them open with people being helped and others waiting. We arrived with my handicapped mother who is of perfect sound mind but suffers with a rare neuromuscular disease. Sadly, the workers discussed in front of us a debate on where my mom should sit. They didn't want her in the pedi chairs even sitting between my sister and I. We really just wanted a nice day. A nice girls day and they had to make it uncomfortable and awkward. I said I didn't understand and why am I feeling a prejudice against our circumstances. The woman became even more rude. The one lady helping us was sincere and made accommodations to give us what we wanted while the other angry woman sat and stewed. I can assure you we will not be back! read more

Absolutely furious with one of the women that works here. I don't know her name & I don't know her position but, I was visiting from Washington DC and went for a little mani/pedi with my mom before my flight. The woman who attended me was coughing all over me while doing my pedicure. She "tried to look away" but her hot breath and cough consistently came my direction. So much so that it caught another patrons attention. I couldn't get up to get my mask since we were mid pedicure by the time I realized she was sick and not just clearing her throat. Then, she half assed my manicure from the pedicure chair... I woke up the next morning and my cuticles were bleeding and looking like minced meat. When she was done with me, she had the audacity to THEN go put a mask on since she was clearly sick. I don't give a rats ass if you're one way or another about masks but, her coughing all over me was disgusting. The ONLY saving grace of this place is Charles. I told my mom, a frequent patron, what happened and how sick I got after I got home. Charles was very apologetic, offered her a discount on her next visit and to "take care of me" when I come back. Buyer beware. The shorter lady that acts like she owns the place (no idea if she does or not) is unprofessional and inappropriate. read more
