We worked with Chris who came out to the property to measure and look at the foundation which supports the Bilco Doors. We discussed price and what my expectations were. I forwarded copies of Door colors. We were interested in and the specific way we wanted the doors to open. We got an appointment date Chris and Alex came to do the foundation as well as remove the door and replace the new one They actually came back and finished it over three days Due to weather And daylight savings time The door looks amazing and the cement foundation is quite an improvement from the broken blocks that were there before I highly recommend working with this company as I think you will be satisfied with the finished product

But that was more than 5 years ago and things seem to have gone very wrong since then. I had someone out to give an estimate for the replacement of two windows and a door. Not complicated. I didn't hear from them for 6 weeks. I then called and was told they were backed up and they would get it to me the next day. They didn't. I called again and got it a week later. The estimate was completely wrong. For one thing, it was for French doors instead of a single door. I don't understand how they could get that so wrong when an appraiser came out in person. I wrote back to tell them what was incorrect and to politely express disappointment. I received no reply at all. I'm done with them.

I own a brownstone and unfortunately had a terrible experience with this company. They required a deposit upfront and once the money was paid, communication essentially stopped. Calls went unanswered and the work was never completed. When I tried to follow up, I was told by the owner's wife that he was supposedly on his deathbed. Naturally, I tried to be understanding at the time. However, after doing further research, I discovered that the previous company operating under the same name and same address is now listed as "closed," while a new business with the same owner and same location has appeared under a different website. It appears to be the exact same operation simply rebranded. After speaking with other brownstone owners in my area, I also learned that I'm not the only one who has had this experience. Others have reported paying deposits and then being unable to get the work completed or get their money back. Because of this experience, I will be filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau and leaving reviews anywhere this business appears so other homeowners do not fall into the same situation.

He also refused to remove the garbage in front of my home, broke my water hose and on top of that his workers peed in bottles and left them in my garage. We rescheduled, and then they didn't show up for the next one, nor the next one, an so on. This happened around 12 times over a period of two months! Eventually, the office administrator gave me the direct phone number for her boss, Reggie, because even she couldn't get hold of him anymore. Every time there was a different excuse: he was "driving back from Florida," dealing with "an emergency with an employee in Florida," had to leave "for Florida," and so on. There was always another excuse. One day, his crew finally showed up and installed some of the window screens. However, they had to wait six hours for him to arrive to bring the material. Then we discovered that several of the screens didn't fit because he had measured them incorrectly. None of the large sliding door screens were even ready. Eventually, I'd had enough and demanded a refund for the unfinished work and the screens we never received. He promised again that he would come and complete the installation, even confirming it by email, but he never showed up. He repeated this two more times. Finally, I told him I was done and wanted our money back. His response was to hang up on me! And now, it shows that their business is "permanently closed" and I'm left to figure out how I'll get a refund from them!

We had a budget, and he helped us keep to it, but he really went above and beyond that. Other vendors told us there was no way to keep the 130 year window moldings, but Turab not only helped us keep them, but had so many neat tricks to improve our restoration project. Other vendors just gave us offers against our project scope, but Turab explained to us the dynamics of different windows in different parts of the house and what types worked best and saved us money. He made custom moldings for our cellar windows. He also helped us out to stop a fly tipping incident one day when we were out and not able to deal with it ourselves. And when it was pouring with rain and our basement flooded, he went outside and took a really long and hard look and told us what the problem was. We got it fixed the same weekend and never had issues since.
