Bread, rolls, sandwiches, empanadas! Stellas has a great location for all these items. They also have drinks and a nice patio area to enjoy your favorite bready items. Friendly staff.

Stella's is a staple in my farmer's market stops so I had to check out the location on regent! The sandwich on the spicy cheese bread was fantastic. The cinnamon roll was solid, wish it was warmed up. Friendly, quick service and cute seating area. Can't wait to come back!

Great find from the Dane County Farmers Market! I got recommended to try the hot and spicy cheese loaf by a friend, and it didn't disappoint! Definitely get the whole loaf instead of the mini loafs, since the whole loafs are still warm. The bread was fluffy and cheesy, though not very spicy. The farmers market goes around the entire Capitol building and has a variety of cute local businesses. The stall at the farmers market was pretty busy, but the staff was very helpful and gave us recommendations!

Stella's is a madison farmers marker institution that now has a cafe storefront. Limited indoor seating, about 5 tables, but it looks like come summer their outdoor seating will be pretty nice. They serve coffee, sandos, baked goods, and beer (duh). Fine spot to take your parents if theyre visiting you @ UW.

we went to the farmers market on saturday and got the famous hot and spicy bread!! it has melty cheese and red pepper flakes on top~ it was served steaming and was super soft and peelable. a really yummy snack. top 2 eats from my trip to madison! I might be thinking abt this bread for a while the lady at the booth was very nice and helpful when we asked her questions. the line to get the bread was also moving quickly~ it was also a somewhat chaotic environment bc of the market but everything was pretty organized regardless.

Where's the Cheese? Stopped by the new Stella's Bakery location to pick up their famous hot and spicy cheesy bread. While the bread was good it was not the same with only a small amount of cheese in the loft.

I didn't go to the brick and mortar location but had to get this bread at the Dane County Farmers Market. Absolutely incredible!

Have been getting pastries from the farmers market for a long time. They just opened up an eatery in a new location with an outdoor patio and cute indoor place to eat also. The only problem is the parking.

In Dane County Farmer's market they had very long line. So tried their hot and spicy cheese bread. It was really good. Bread has cheese and chilli flakes embedded in it. $13 was the price for a piece.

Very flavorful, well-seasoned pork and chicken turnovers (empanadillas)! Excited to visit in person soon!

Madison sourdough made it to our list of places to visit by virtue of their morning buns, which I…read moreread about during my research for what to eat in the area. We stopped off on a Sunday morning before leaving Madison to head to the Dells. We were able to snag a parking spot on the street pretty much right out front of the place but I did notice that there seem to be a parking lot next-door. we were intimidated by the queue that had formed and was literally no exaggeration, "out the door". I wouldn't say that it moved quickly per se, but quick enough. The time spent on the queue is good for catching up on emails, some self reflection, or perusing the menus that they have stacked on the counter. We finally made it to the register. I ordered a ginger pistachio Matcha (iced of course, in this heat) and GF a banana something latte. The morning bun was fantastic. It almost reminds me of a cruffin. Maybe lighter? It wasn't overwhelming, it was flaky and delicate with a muffin-esque but lighter booty. A delightful breakfast snack. The matcha was out of this world. Such a unique and delicious flavor. It lasted two seconds. GF enjoyed her latte. It wasn't as sweet as I would have liked but for her, someone who doesn't like sweet coffee beverages, it was perfect. I can see why this place is so popular.
