Stella's bakery I really bad high hopes for this one. When I arrived there was only one other couple who arrived. The woman working didn't great us but was super friendly to the other two couples. When asked about different pastries and items she seemed very annoyed but as a first time visitor we wanted to know. The prices were good for the variety and flavors. A lot of the items were softer and not as flakey as hoped for. The empanada tasted like my Italian grannies spaghetti sauce. I was hoping for some unique coffees but was just told no it was basic coffee. After walking out with $30 in bakery items which all had basic flavors we weren't thanked or ask for come back. However the next group of 6 that came in the woman was very nice and asked how they were as soon as they walked in. I can't say I'd drive 30 minutes out of my way for the service and items But I really love hearing the positive experiences and it sounds like Oscar is great read more

This place is a hidden gem, a must try. It's a little hard to find since it's snuggled in between some warehouses. It's an Argentinian bakery so they have some unique pastries. Bakery itself is pretty small but they have some seating available outside. People are very friendly there and so helpful with explaining everything. My sister and I got to meet the owner, Oscar and he made me think of my own family. Such a sweet guy, so friendly. We got the Cream filled croissant with Pistachio cream and the Dulce de Leche croissant and they were both absolutely delicious. Don't leave without getting the empanadas. We ordered two beef empanadas, sat outside and devoured them. They were so delicious we got two to go. This will be a go to place for sure everytime we visit Destin. read more

Amazing croissants and various savory empanadas. We tried the beef and the ham and cheese- both excellent! The variety of danishes is remarkable, we tried the dulce de leche, the custard, and the pineapple quava. All were amazing. Wowweeee! Love this little bakery. It's a little hard to find, hidden away in some warehouses. Turn where you see the bakery signs as Google was confused. The pastries are so flaky and flavorful, brushed with something a little sweet on the top. It's hard to pick a favorite. We tried the chocolate-filled, guava, peach and the croissant. All were so yummy. We got some empanadas and heated them later for lunch. Also really good. Two is perfect for lunch. Chicken was my favorite. But beef and ham are also good. If I could give you more stars I would ! I stopped in here to get a few items because I didn't know this place even existed and I'm so happy I did. This location is tucked away in what looks like kind of an industrial area, it's not an area you would expect. The café is really small, there is only outside seating, but it is so worth the visit. They offer a variety of classic pastries, including beautiful croissants, but I think the star of the show are their empanadas. I ordered one ham and cheese and one chicken and they both were amazing so amazing that I did not get a picture of them. I also ordered a pistachio cream filled croissant, which was divine . The best part of this was that everything was so affordable. I will definitely be making this a place to visit more frequently. read more

Holy mother of Jesus and all that is holy. Please go here. The place is in a warehouse district but should be waterfront! It's small and walk up and out. Some outside seating, small quaint ambiance. BUT!!! The pastries are simply amazing. The service was great!!!!! Very helpful people to walk through the menu. I'll end with the empanadas. These are life changing. I suggest the Beef but we had them all. I would drive hours out of the way for these. read more

Nowhere else in 30a will you find such affordable pricing. They only have outdoor deck seating, but it is a cozy spot with Fall flowers and a sunshade. We found this little gem thanks to yelp! I agree with someone else's review, saying that this place should be a water front location. We were not impressed by the options on 30A and decided to venture out and we are so thankful we did! Even though it is in an odd place, the little bakery was warm and inviting. The lady upfront was so happy and had no issue explaining what each bakery item was. Every item we ordered was amazing and fresh. OH MY GOSH! Stella's bakery is so delicious! We got a little bit of everything (croissants, empanadas, and coffee)! They had a great deal running: coffee and two croissants for $5! You really have to go deep to find Stella's Bakery. Tiny and tucked into the corner of a commercial warehouse area, Stella is an Argentine bakery with high quality croissants,pastries and breads. Star of the show are the fabulous empanadas. Chicken and beef are superb. Avoid the advertised pizza, it's basically fluffy dough covered in cheese and nothing else. Prices are good considering the quality. Definitely unique to the area. read more
