The caprese crunch was delightfully refreshing. The bread was perfect, was not too hard, and was not soggy either. The dulce de leche latte was yummy! Service was a little slow, barista looked confused and was standing around not really doing anything. Had to stand by the counter for him to realise we were waiting for our drink. Amazing restrooms! Amazing sandwiches & creamy coffees down below, hip tiki bar up above! Was super excited to stop by Sandos for lunch on our last trip to Destin. Housed in a shipping container, you can find a mix of specialty subs and coffees on the bottom, then head upstairs for beach drinks, cocktails and a sweet view of the waves. We enjoyed a Caprese Crunch and a Beach Bum, chips & Mexican cokes at the bar, then left with a really nice Cold Brew for the drive back to our rental. So good, that my picky 9-yo ate the entire sandwich! Loved talking to the guys working the counter, too. We will definitely be back this year! read more

The cutest outdoor beach-side cafe, turned Tiki bar in the afternoon/evening. We stopped by on a Saturday morning to find coffee and were delighted by the selection on the menu. We tried the Café Bombón, which was explained to us as a Spanish coffee drink with equal parts espresso and condensed milk, served in a clear glass to see the layers. We ordered that and it was a little art treat for our eyes, and taste buds. The oat milk lattes were also on point and up to standards - will be back for more. It seems the upstairs tiki bar is hopping later in the day while passing by. We will return to discover more of this cafe/bar. The owner came out to chat with us and gave us plenty of local recommendations which we highly appreciated. It was refreshing to chat to locals who are welcoming to newcomers. read more

When you are in Miramar Beach there is a nice paved path that runs for miles just north of the ocean. When we are in town for vacation my wife and I like to always run on this path early in the morning. We would always pass a nice looking breakfast spot on our runs to the East. The last time we were in town we finally decided to just end our run at the spot and then walk back to the condo after breakfast. Sandos is a newer spot with a great location. It is definitely more of a breakfast place although it is open through an early dinner (~6ish). It isn't a standard restaurant, as there isn't really an "inside." Instead there is a counter with some stools and then open seating on the main floor and rooftop seating. There was a good crowd each morning we passed by but nothing crazy. We both ordered breakfast sandwiches and my wife got a coffee. My wife liked her coffee, but both of us were very underwhelmed by the breakfast sandwiches. Well they weren't sandwiches, more like pastries with egg and sausage? They were very small, and we were still hungry after eating them. So overall this is a great location, it is a nicely maintained restaurant, and the outdoor seating gives it a good vibe. It is somewhere I'd feel comfortable stopping in at if I was in the immediate location, but there are several other breakfast spots I like more that sit along Scenic Gulf Drive. read more

I ran up from the beach to grab a sandwich and a pastry for lunch. It was kind of a pain because in this spot on the beach, most of the close beach access gates are locked on both the inside and the outside, so you can't get up or down from the beach unless you happen to be there at the same time as someone with a code. Staff was very friendly and my order came pretty quickly but was made to order. I ordered the roast beef sandwich and the cheese and yogurt danish. The sandwich was big, probably about a foot long. The bread was good. It was ok but MAN the horseradish was overpowering. The menu calls it a horseradish aioli but it was pretty much just straight horseradish. By about halfway through the sandwich it was hurting my sinuses. I really like horseradish but I think maybe a little more aioli and a little less horseradish would be good. By the end I was pinching out and tossing the bread in the "hinge" of the sandwich because that's where most of the horseradish was. There was a lot of sun stuff on that sandwich, all of which I like, but there was no flavor at all other than horseradish, and occasionally red onion. I would order again but either get a different sandwich or ask for like half the horseradish. read more

My wife and I were in Miramar Beach for vacation recently and decided that we needed lunch before going to the beach. Sandos was super close to our condo, so we decided to grab something. My wife had an everything bagel and I had the Fuhgeddaboudit sandwich. Her bagel was good. My sandwich was a really good Italian sandwich with too many ingredients to list here. The various coffees looked great and smelled great. The restaurant looks like three cargo containers stacked, but it works for them. They have outdoor seating under palm trees and under umbrellas upstairs. There is limited barstools at the windows. You order at the register and your order is shouted out for you to pick up. Sandos is a great sandwich shop at the beach. It is worth a try. read more

We went here three times on our recent four day trip. The first visit was for cocktails during happy hour. I loved my Mai Tai! We came back for breakfast to grab bagels and iced coffee - so yum. And just went back a third time for lunch. My old 98 sandwich may be the best sandwich I've had in awhile. Definitely get it sandos style! read more

This is a new spot in Miramar Beach and what a fun location. I just wanted something quick so I had an everything bagel. It was warm and delicious! The staff was efficient and friendly. There is a paid parking lot right in front, but it was within walking distance of our condo. If we stay in the same area again, I will definitely give it another whirl. read more

We decided to try out this spot around 7:30am on a Saturday in April. It wasn't too crowded. The staff was friendly and helpful. We got some food and iced lattes. It was very delicious. We can't wait to go back! Plenty of seating too and a parking lot behind the building. read more

Super cute spot right off the beach. Love the setup. Matcha was pretty good (vanilla flavor was a little too sweet but still tasty) and the espresso strong, my husband really liked it. Service was slow, only reason for 4 stars, but we feel it's worth visiting to grab a coffee on a nice walk or before/after beach. We would return. read more
