Very thin and very light on toppings. When we get the bill, it is higher than we thought. But my husband pays. I look at the itemized receipt and see that we were charged $1.50 per topping. I ask her about the bill and remind her she said the pizza was $8.95 with up to 3 toppings. She says, yes but the toppings are $1.50 each. I tell her she never said that and how am I supposed to know. And if I am paying for the toppings, why would you limit me to 3? It doesn't make sense. I loved the combo of the kung pao vinaigrette that gave it a subtle salty sweetness mixed with a little of the spicy peppers. It was such an amazing combo! And we finished it off with the truffled vineyard fries. These are no regular fries.... These are layered potatoes that are thinly sliced and fried, so the layers get really crispy and make for some yummy truffle fries! It's served with a lemon truffle cream which I loved. I think the cream did a nice job of balancing the heaviness of the fried potato given that it was on the greasy side. I am over the moon with their presentation, service, food and wine options. I also didn't realize they have a speakeasy inside. From the road you would never believe it exists besides the pizza shop. It's called the apothecary and they have a huge assortment of crafted cocktails! I tried the New Pal which was a citrusy take on an old fashioned and I thought it was really well done!
