The presentation was beautiful and the drink was delicious! We got the steak bites, which I can't say enough good things about. They were cooked and seasoned absolutely perfectly. We also got calamari, which was crispy, flavorful, and not fishy. The menu looked absolutely incredible and there are so many things I want to try. I'd say bar food is rather pricey with chili hot dogs at $16.00 and Black & Blue Burgers at $19.00. I wasn't here for a game but understand it attacks a good beer guzzling hoot and hollering group of fans. By far, the best thing going for The Den is it's efficient, know what they are doing, and attractive female bartenders. Not the best smash burger I've ever had but the flavor was good so I was satisfied. I chose a Caesar salad as a side which was good. The wagyu burger came with fries. The fries were very good. Crispy on the outside and soft and meaty on the inside. The Wagyu burger itself was just okay. There were pieces of hard fat that wasn't pleasant to chew on. Everything was just okay. If you're out and about in the park enjoying a game or exercising and get the munchies, The Federal is super convenient to pop into with decent American bar food.
