After a week we picked up "curry" who had been recently been shampooed and had nice looking toe nails again. They took our credit card and without any hassle we were on our way. Everything was professional and well done. We will use the Westside again.

I received a quote of around $550. The person that gave me, the quote said that it could be higher based on teeth needing to be pulled, which I understood. Once the vet had my dog under anesthesia, he did call me and tell me that there were eight teeth that need to be pulled. He said he was kind of alarmed by that, but I told him to go ahead and pull the teeth. He talked about x-rays and filling some pockets with a material to help further protect the dog from gum, disease, and teeth issues. My exact words to him were just pull the teeth for now. To my surprise when I picked up the dog, the bill was $1500. I spoke to the vet and another employee about my bill. They gave me a $70 credit. I do not feel that I should have to pay for the x-rays or any fees associated with filling the pockets. The teeth extractions amount of to $600. At the most my bill should've been $1200. Lesson learned. Going forward, make sure this office sends you a text message with the exact cost of anything that will be done to your pet. In my opinion, that should be a standard process.

I came in on 8.1.25 with Eric to sign papers for my boxer Blue to be put down. I'm the account holder and it took a long time for me to make decisions because Blue picked me over 10 yrs ago and he's my dog but I also have a son he took to and because they got along I took Blue when the homeowners called to say he missed me and wouldn't stop whining. I was clear with the young lady at the counter we didn't know what we were doing with the ashes and I made sure they had my number to call when Blue came back. I was clear that I was going to give my son space he's 19 to say goodbyes but made sure she understood the nose print get mailed to me. She had my number and address. I paid. I'm the account holder. Eric called this week to verify when Blue would be in. I was standing in your vet the day he came in at 2pm and you called my son to pick him up. I did not need to tell anyone my son had went to his dad's and I would not get the ashes or nose print if you called him. My family business is non of your business. I the account holder came in and paid and gave my number and address and gave directions to allow my son to say goodbyes but made bye. You, Deb the vet had one job to do, put my dog down with peace while following the directions the account holder and owner of the dog gave you. You and your staff do not get to make judgment calls and change what the account holder has requested. The original Doctor who has always seen Blue and Blue is the reason we come to Grabil needs to know what happened to Blue and why I will never allow you to touch any of my dogs again. Link, Lucky and MAC deserve better. Blue deserved better. R.I.P. Blue.. I can't apologize more for letting you down in the end. Your friend and family, Maleah. 2:49 pm 8.14.25 Deb your last words in message to me, "I hope for your family sake that you can work out your issues and find peace.". I hope for all dog's sake and peace in passing no one brings their dog to you.
