Stumbled onto Lincoln Eatery and it was a great surprise with this crepe location being in there. The crepe took a while to make as it was one person but the service she provided was good so we walked to explore other food places. The ambiance of the entire eatery was really great. The crepe was so tasty and delicious with Nutella , bananas and strawberries; well worth the time. Can't wait to return to have more!

Also had two vegetarian crepes: Brie apple walnuts and Stephanie made a specialty egg mixed greens and avocado crepe.

We ordered a bunch of smaller dishes to share and were quite full at the end! Soupe à l'Oignon Gratinée: Really great broth with chunks of caramelized onions. The cheese was plentiful and gooey. The bread wasn't toasted though and a bit thick, so that could have been improved. Escargots: A classic. Loaded with butter, garlic and herbs. Lots of bread offered on the side to soak up that goodness and enjoy a snail on top. Le Tartare de Bœuf: A huge portion! Though I prefer my tartare a little less minced and more like finely chopped. Good flavor though. The greens in the salad were a nice palate cleanser between bites. Gnocchi À La Juju: Shockingly better than Italian gnocchi. Each little gnocchi was nicely seared for a brown and somewhat firm exterior, with a good chewy pillow inside. The sauce was outstanding. Some cream and complex cheeses that are worthy of French culinary techniques. Tartiflette: More cheese and cream. This time with potatoes, onions and bacon. Kind of simple if you think about it, but with really complex tastes.

It had chicken, mushrooms, and a white wine creamy sauce. It was everything that I expected it to be and more! I will definitely be back for more. The service was good. I liked how the staff took the time to answer my questions. I was quickly given a to-go box when I couldn't finish the whole crepe. The restaurant was clean and nicely decorated. I liked that it was well lit, bright and airy. Next time I've got to save room for something sweet!

The attention to detail, from the custom hard covered menus to the poetic signage on the walls added a touch of character. The barista, Elizabeth, provided superb hospitality and a personalized delicious espresso experience which seemed to reflect the overall thoughtful service of the cafe. The oversized cakes are available for customer's sweet tooth or parties, which definitely added a fun element, even if the crepes and waffles aren't available for catering. The outside covered seating was inviting on this cool day but chose to take a small inside table listening to soft music while relaxing with my espresso. The unisex bathroom with separate stalls for girls and guys certainly adds a quirky and modern twist to the cafe's atmosphere. It's alluring design choice that sparks curiosity and adds to the overall unique vibe of the space, blending practicality with a bit of mystique. It's not often you come across this kind of setup, so it would definitely be a conversation starter for those who notice - like me. This surely was a place that offered something a bit different. Will return soon to take a chance at the loaded Nutella Fruit Waffles or a Boston Chocolate Batter Crepe and update my review.
