I always like to try a place that provides a service like this at least more than once before giving a review because different providers give different experiences. I'm glad I held off because what happened to me this time was unprofessional and I will not be returning. I will start off saying that my first time here was a lovely experience with Amy. I got my very first lash lift and tint ever. She was so sweet and the results came out fantastic. I was so pleased that around the 5 week mark I wanted to come back and get my lashes lifted again, the day before leaving for a vacation. Unfortunately I was not able to book with Amy again. I booked a few days in advance with the provider Desiree on Mother's day at 9am so I could get this done early and spend the rest of the day with my mom. On the day of my appointment, my provider texted me at 5 am (4 hours before the appointment) cancelling on me and asking to reschedule. I understand people get sick and things come up, but that's when you need to find a replacement when it's that short of notice. Whether her being sick was the truth or not, cancelling on Mothers day just give the impression you didn't want to come in on the holiday. I texted back and asked if there was anyone else who could do it because I am leaving the next day and I didn't hear anything back from her. I then had to scramble and spend double the amount I was going to in order to find a place that was 1. even open on Sundays and 2. had an appointment sometime during the day. It honestly ruined my whole schedule for the day and interrupted my time spent with my mom. Under normal circumstances and I wasn't leaving for a trip the next day this wouldn't be a really big deal to reschedule. It was just incredibly frustrating. After looking over several other reviews for this place it seems like attendance and being punctual from many employees is not this place's strong suit. If somewhere is charging cancellation fees for clients for last minute cancelling, the providers shouldn't be able to do it 4 hours before the appointment, or if they can't make it, find someone who can step in. I'm very disappointed and do not plan to return to this place even though I loved having Amy work on me my first visit. read more

I've had this place on my radar for a while and decided to give it a try since my microneedling person was unavailable. For my first experience, this was horrendous. I am a Groupon girl and I've had several services from there including other microneedling and this was the worst. First, I was on my way and ensured I was 10 minutes and on my way Melissa texts me that she will be 15 MINUTES LATE. So I get there and I'm waiting, debating if I should leave but I'm already here so whatever I guess. Second, there is very minimal talk and she didn't seem to want to be there, simply "having to work Saturdays and every other Sunday soon because she needs money". Third, there is INSANE road closures and noise with the windows open, there is ZERO chance of relaxing. The service was 45min, yet it took 20 min to numb me and then 5-ish minutes of microneedling itself. The needle depth was set way too high. I should be on 0.5mm it seemed higher based on feeling so much when I was numbed already. The gliding and pressure was too much and yet, I'm almost 2 weeks in and I don't see much of a difference. Lastly, she was rushing through the service I'd assume because someone was late which delayed other services. The movement of the facial, needling and moving stuff around was obvious she was stressed, rushing and not attending to clients. Can't speak on the results quite yet since I only underwent one session but I did want to review based on costumer service and responsiveness! The staff is nice and the experience was relaxing. They also have flexible hours and parking on the premises which is definitely a plus. I tried the EMS shaping because I wanted to compare it with another place I went. The other place seemed a bit more thorough for about the same price point and duration so might stick with them. But I would return here for some of their other services including facials. read more

Came here for a lash lift and at first they looked really cute but by the end of the day they were suuuuper curly and bending weird all over. I loved the intitial result and followed the aftercare instructions closely as to not mess them up but that still happened. Thought maybe it's a part of the process and to just stick it out? I am on my third appointment with Melissa to reduce my acne scars and orange peel texture. My first appointment was for a Hollywood facial and my skin was noticeably brighter after. The following two appointments were for microneedling. I was a bit hesitant of the microneedling thinking it would be painful, but it does not hurt and there is very little downtime after. I am loving the results and can't wait to see how my skin texture continues to improve with each session. I highly recommend you book with Melissa! Another plus is that Melissa has late afternoon/ early evening appointments so I can get my treatments after work, and there is plenty of parking too. read more

I originally found Stephanie's Cavi Lipo Spa through Groupon and reached out via the personal number listed to inquire about a waxing appointment. After introducing myself and discussing availability, I realized I needed to push my appointment back. Stephanie informed me there were no other time slots available that day but suggested Monday or Tuesday. When I asked for Monday's availability, she specifically responded with 9 AM and then followed up with a screenshot of a calendar displaying multiple times from 9:00 AM to 11:30 AM, along with a "custom time" button. Since the calendar itself appeared empty and only showed buttons at the bottom, I wasn't sure if those were actual open slots. I politely asked if she could fit me in at 12 PM, to which she rudely responded, "Do you not see the schedule?" As a customer, how was I supposed to know how her booking system worked? She never clarified that those were open slots or how her scheduling functioned. I found her response extremely unprofessional, so I chose not to engage further. Later that day, she continued to send multiple texts suggesting other dates and times, but I decided not to proceed with the appointment. The next day, I received a message stating that since I "did not show up," I owed a $50 cancellation fee--despite never confirming or agreeing to an appointment. Less than an hour later, she sent the same text again. It's worth noting that she only had my name and phone number, yet she attempted to enforce a sketchy and unwarranted cancellation fee. This experience reflects poor customer service and questionable business practices. I would not recommend booking with Stephanie's Cavi Lipo Spa, as the lack of professionalism and misleading scheduling process make for a frustrating and unreliable experience. read more

I prepaid in full for a service through Groupon and contacted the business to schedule my appointment. The appointment was confirmed, but on the morning of the scheduled date, I received a text message notifying me that it had been canceled with no option to reschedule. I responded politely to the cancellation notice and attempted to reschedule multiple times but received no reply. I also called several times without success. Since the service was already paid for in full through Groupon, I was unable to rebook through the website without being charged an additional deposit--resulting in paying more than the original cost of the service. Because the business did not respond to my rescheduling requests after canceling my appointment and only directed me back to the website (which would have required another payment), I ultimately lost the funds I had already paid. In response to you.. my name is Andrea.. I fully prepaid for an appointment and you guys canceled my appointment I FULLY paid for and didn't rebook me. I didn't cancel.. when I scheduled over the phone explained I wanted my teeth whitening before my dads funeral.. I was scheduled the day before I left town for it. When I returned I contacted you back and you guys ignored my text. The link was making me pay an additional deposit.. I couldn't not reschedule without paying more.. I had quite the experience getting my eyebrows lasered off--it was painful at first (I felt like Chucky!), but after doing more research, I felt confident and went back for more sessions. I'm healing well, and while my brows aren't completely gone yet, they're definitely lighter. The place is clean, the staff is super nice, and the treatment is working. I had a wonderful experience at Stephanie Cavi. i bought IPL for myself. Check in was easy. The vibe is casual. It is in Banker's Hill and has parking! You do have to walk up a flight, but it's easy to find. Michelle was my nurse. She cleaned my skin, did a light acid. Peel. Made three passes with the machine and then red light therapy! After, she applied three products, including sunscreen. This is not a fancy, snooty spa. The IPL machine is older, but works. But it's a great value! My skin looks great. I bought the multi package from Groupon, and after 4 sessions on the "highest" setting I saw ZERO improvement. I have light skin and dark, fine hair. I've had laser removal from a different place before on my bikini and armpits, where 3 sessions removed almost all of it. I had a fine/weird experience here. I was supposed to have a 7 am lymphatic drainage massage, but Stephanie did not arrive to the store until 7:15. She did let me know at 6:55 that she would be late, but she showed up with breakfast she picked up on the way. I had booked the appointment that early because I had to get to work. She did not seem very apologetic about it either and didn't take any money off. The massage itself was fine, but she kept leaving the room in the middle. Maybe to grab stuff since she didn't get there early to open? I did the vacuum lymphatic and unfortunately she left it on my back and walked away for a few seconds and it left a bruise. I had a wedding that weekend and was wearing a backless dress, so that was a bummer. She was nice, but this experience was a bit below average. I also did not note any difference after my massage. Desiree, the estetician was very nice, she was telling me that she is planning to change job as she is not paid enough, understandable... but there were no disposable towels, neither paper towels on the waxing bed, also the bed looked very old and dirty. Again, feedback is only for the lack of hygiene. No disposable supplies at all. Purchased a groupon for service for my friend and I at this spa since I visit San Diego (I live an hour and a half away) occasionally and was planning a visit. Have tried on multiple occasions to book with them and there is always a reason they cant take two of us. I spoke to them and explained our situation so that they knew we were coming from a distance and had appts booked yesterday and was ready to leave just two hours before our appointments when they called and said that they could not do it yesterday and tried to switch us to another day.
