Excellent caring Dentist with out the upsells and pressures of a regular dentist, a joy to work with.

The dentists and staff were very professional, helpful and welcoming indeed and the offices are very professional nicely decorated and a very comfortable waiting room. Most especially my heartfelt thanks to the dental hygienist Doris, and Dr. Mofran, DDS (spelling?) provided most excellent and gentle dental care. I would highly recommend FULLER SMILES - WEST HILLS for their professional, excellent and outstanding patient care. Sincerely, J. G.

It pains me to write this review, but after what I went through, I feel obligated to warn others…read more I was a patient of Dr. McKee for over a decade, and he was hands-down the best dentist I've ever had. Unfortunately, he retired earlier this year, and Fuller Smiles took over his practice and patients. I genuinely miss him. In August, I came in for a routine cleaning and was seen by the new dentist, Dr. Neal. During that visit, I was told I had two cavities, receding gums, and needed a night guard. I was quoted $600 for the night guard, which I declined. Although I've only had one or two fillings over the past decade, I decided to trust his recommendation and proceed with the fillings. That decision turned into a nightmare. The procedure was extremely rough and took an unusually long time for two basic fillings. It was far more painful than any dental work I've ever had done. When I got home later that day and tried to eat, I realized the fillings hadn't been smoothed properly, and my bite was completely off. I ended up injuring my jaw and had to return *twice* just to get the fillings adjusted. Unfortunately, it didn't end there. That same weekend, I developed chills and a 103-degree fever and had to go to the emergency room. I was diagnosed with an oral infection and placed on antibiotics. While the antibiotics helped temporarily, I was still in severe pain more than a month later. At that point, I sought a second opinion. I was told that Dr. Neal had drilled far too aggressively and damaged the tooth, causing a serious infection. As a result, I needed a root canal and a crown--performed by a different dentist. The infection also spread to my sinuses, leading to a sinus infection that lasted nearly four months. I went through three rounds of antibiotics and had to see an ENT specialist, coming dangerously close to needing balloon sinus surgery. It is now December, and only after a root canal, crown, months of pain, multiple antibiotics, and specialist visits am I finally starting to feel better. This was one of the most painful and stressful medical experiences I've ever had, and I wouldn't wish it on anyone. I trusted this dentist with routine care, and it resulted in months of suffering and significant additional procedures elsewhere. I spent close to $3,000 since my last visit with them just trying to get back to feeling normal. Proceed with extreme caution.

Smile Haus - Dr. Mustapha Hotait from SMILE HAUS

Here's a polished, professional version of your review that keeps your voice and emotion but…read moreimproves clarity and flow: --- Finding Dr. Mustapha Hotait at Smilehaus in West Hills, CA truly felt like a miracle for both me and my mother. About four years ago, my mom underwent a nine-hour heart surgery at the age of 82. As part of the preparation, five of her teeth were extracted while she was in the hospital. Since then, I spent years going from one dentist and oral surgeon to another--mostly in Beverly Hills--thinking that the location or ZIP code would make a difference. Unfortunately, many of those experiences were disappointing. Some providers didn't take the time to connect with my mom, and at times I paid hundreds of dollars for just a few minutes of consultation, leaving without any clear direction. She eventually ended up with inexpensive partial dentures that were uncomfortable and ineffective. Then, a friend recommended Dr. Hotait. From the very first visit, I could tell he was different. He is extremely professional, detail-oriented, and truly passionate about his work. More importantly, he genuinely cares about his patients. He immediately recognized my mom's fear and her inability to tolerate major dental implant procedures. Instead of pushing invasive treatments, he thoughtfully created a step-by-step plan to restore her smile--filling the gaps in a way that looks and feels natural, almost as if she had full upper and lower implants. He approaches dentistry like an art form, using each patient's face as his canvas and designing results that are truly one of a kind. As a physician myself, I don't usually pay much attention to dental work--partly because I've always been a bit fearful of going to the dentist. But one day, while sitting in his office and looking at his before-and-after photos, I paused and told him, "I think you've changed people's lives." He smiled humbly and said, "Yes, they tend to leave my office very happy." One thing that stood out to me during our conversations is that he is a man of faith. I believe it makes a profound difference when a healthcare provider is driven by a higher purpose--serving humanity rather than just focusing on financial gain. I've been driving 45 minutes from West Los Angeles to West Hills every few weeks, and I do so gladly. I would not trust anyone else with my mother's dental care. Cosmetic dentistry can be a significant investment, but it is also permanent. It's essential to choose someone with true expertise and integrity--and in my experience, Dr. Hotait is exactly that.

For many years, I would honestly make up any excuse not to go to the dentist. Every experience I…read morehad before was negative, stressful, and something I truly dreaded. That completely changed the moment I walked into Canoga Valley Dental and met Dr. Arsen. For the first time in my life, I actually felt excited and motivated about my treatment plan. Dr. Arsen took the time to explain everything clearly, came up with a plan that made sense, and -- most importantly -- made me feel confident and comfortable following through until the very end. That has never happened to me at any other dental office. I can honestly write a million things about how great Dr. Arsen is, but until you walk through the door and experience it yourself, you won't fully understand. He's not just an incredible dentist -- he's genuinely a great person. I never thought I'd say this, but I actually like and trust going to the dentist now. The front office staff is just as amazing, especially Martha. She truly went above and beyond in ways you rarely see anymore. She stayed on top of me to make sure I didn't miss appointments, knew I had a habit of running late, and jumped through hoops to help keep me on track -- without ever making me feel uncomfortable or judged. She even took the extra step to coordinate with my wife and my dad (who I work with) to make sure I could get to my appointments on time. That level of dedication is almost impossible to find. What really sets this office apart is that everyone here truly cares about your well-being. This is not one of those places where you feel rushed or treated like just another patient for a paycheck. The care, patience, and genuine concern from the entire team is something I've never experienced anywhere else. I feel incredibly blessed to have found Canoga Valley Dental. Dr. Arsen and his team have completely changed how I feel about dental care, and I can confidently say I'm with this office for life. Thank you to Dr. Arsen and the entire staff for being such an amazing group of individuals. -- David

I just moved back to the valley to take care of my sick mother and had to find a new dentist. I…read moredon't know why but I think I was feeling that I'm back where I grew up and I can trust people. This doctor talked me into buying a tooth guard I didn't want and didn't need. He was insisting I grind my teeth. I was telling him I think I grinded my teeth in the past but I don't think I do it anymore. I don't know why I doubted myself. I should have seen the red flag when I asked him how much it is and he said "I don't know." When I finished my cleaning it was on the bill for $450 and I paid it, I can't explain why. I was stupid for doing that, I know. My wife confirmed when I got home that no, I do not grind my teeth any longer. Early the next morning I emailed to cancel. No one replied so I called later in the day and they said there might be a lab fee but the person who deals with the lab is out sick for the week. I called again today 1 week later and she said unfortunately they can't give me any refund. Letting people know I wouldn't trust this place. It is BS that the Dr. didn't know how much they are selling their products for. It is also BS that they "couldn't cancel because the person who does it is out sick." To top it off, this whole past week, no one from their office has called me or emailed back. I've had to be the one to call them each time.
