Bad customer service! They are rude they quote you a time over the phone you arrive and they are waiting because they took another customer. I asked her how much longer and she never came back to tell me. Pretty much just ignored me! My husband had a pedicure and he was happy with the result. Anthony took care of me. He was fast yet also efficient. I must say, also quite affordable. My refill was $30, as was hubby's pedicure. Steppin Out Nail Spa is the best place for a mani/pedi in the Pembroke Pines area. I have been trying to find a good spot for months now and finally have my go to place. It is tucked away in a strip mall off of Pines Blvd with plenty of parking. I went as a walk in with no appointment. The place was busy so next time I will definitely call ahead. The staff was very friendly and professional. Their nail techs dont rush your mani/pedis, you feel welcomed here. Lots of gel colors to choose from! Win! They also do the thredding for eye brows. I had a terrible experience at this salon. The owner is incredibly rude and seems to hate her job based on her piss poor attitude and the fact that she's terrible at doing nails. She cut my fingernails and refused to shape them, so I had to ask her to file them myself while she sat in front of me on her phone. She took call after call during the manicure and after seeing the mess she made of my fingernails, I decided to opt out of the pedicure. She proceeded to berate me and yelled at me for not wanting the pedicure. The salon is dirty and has cobwebs quite literally on every surface and corner. This nail salon is certainly on its last leg and will likely go out of business at this rate. I highly recommend avoiding this salon and finding something cleaner and of better quality. read more

I have only been here once so I can't speak on multiple experiences. I had a mani pedi with dip on my nails. It was my first time doing dip/powder and loved it. One week in my nails still look great. I went on a week day so I did not have to wait, but I imagine it's crowded during the weekend. It was nice that they took their time and I did not feel like they were rushing which is great, but I probably wouldn't come back here if I had less than an hour to do my nails. Not too pleased with the look of the dip nails. They need to be shaped if not they look like a blob sitting on your nails. The paint began to chip one week in . Now, I have returned and they fixed them for free, however, I don't have the time to return every week for touch up. Mom and I got a basic pani/pedi. We were very happy with the results. I might still try out other places but I would go back here another time. I went to Pines Nails before and did not have a good experience. Pros: - Anthony is very experienced and I loved my mani/pedi. - My mom had Johnny as her tech and she loved his work as well. - very clean environment. They use the plastic cap thing in the pedi tub which I think is really clean - Anthony used some sort of sanding like machine on the rough skin on my feet which took off a lot of dead skin - Anthony was pretty quick which I appreciate. I don't like being at the nail salon for a long time. - they did the mani/pedi in the right order: nails first so they can dry while you get the pedi Cons: - I came in as a walk in around 2:30pm on Friday and there was a 30 minute wait. Next time I'll call ahead. Not necessarily a con, but prices were $40 for a mani/pedi. I don't know how long the mani/pedi will last so I can't comment on the value as yet. I'm also unsure of the standard price for a mani/pedi in this area so I can't comment on how it compares. I only give 5 stars if it's an unbelievable experience so I give this 4 stars. I would give it 5 stars if I was in and out a bit quicker and they had more excellent staff available. read more

Customer Service is very important and the way you make people feel matters. The owner truly loves what she does and takes pride in her work. I always love when she or her daughter does my nails. They last for weeks AND they'll fix a broken nail for free for quite sometime after the manicure which is awesome. I have never loved any mail places in south Florida since moving here and was stranded at the car place across the street when I decided to walk over to steppin out. So glad I did !
