Terrible , the place is very rundown and my manicure was ok but the pedi I had to polish once I got home. The worst part: their menu prices said that $55 for classic mani/pedi and they charged me $60. After I made the claim they said " ohh prices went up $5" and I said "well, change the menu then...". They did not offer to make it right. Also, the tech asked me if I wanted my heel to be scrapped, and I said yes of course, I always get this done where I used to go, then she comes to me and said after she stated " it is $5 more". jmmmmmmmm. STAY AWAY if you're used to QUALITY pedicures!! Or at least don't go with Lewis... My first time here was a bit of a wait even after making an appointment, but the lady that did my dip did a great job so for that, the one star is deserving. Came back again today for a pedicure. I asked for the deluxe pedi which is supposed to include massage , scrub, and paraffin among all the basics. The nail tech, Lewis, started off decent until I realized, right before he was about to start polishing, there was still a LOT of dead skin left around my cuticles. I work on my feet so I do get a lot of dead skin build up which is why I always choose the more expensive pedicure to ensure quality work as it is a very tedious task. He said he couldn't remove it because it was too much! What???????!!! I told him yes, I know that, which is why I'm willing to pay $75 for a pedicure... He copped an attitude, got up and walked away. Mumbled some crap under his breathe like he was done with me. Super unprofessional!!!! Finally, a nice woman came over and took care of me. Finished up my pedi to my liking which alleviated most of the situation. But then, when I went up to pay, the man that handles the front desk (idk his name) was really about to charge me for the deluxe! I NEVER received the paraffin or massage and the scrub and mask Lewis did was so half-assed!! I told him that I'm only paying for a gel pedi with the $5 French add-on which should equal out to $40!! Then he said the gel pedi alone costs $45 which it clearly states on the website that it's $35!! He also charged me an additional $5 for the box of the foot mask/scrub which Lewis only left on my legs for a max of 1 minute! Terrible!! I ended up paying $55 total after everything and still gave the nice woman a $5 tip since she was very helpful and kind. Definitely won't be coming back. VERY deceitful with pricing. They did a great job on my dip with tips manicure! They're the perfect coffin shape and not too thick at all. And colors colors colors! They have a ton to choose from! They offer a bunch of other services too. I'll definitely be back. Honestly I neglected to check out their disinfection processes, which is usually my #1 go to. They use disposable liners in the princess chairs. I don't recall seeing anyone clean them while i was there but i also didn't see one used twice because they have several. It was early and i was one of the first clients and still half asleep. I'm sure they abide by State laws, it's a very nice and clean salon. read more

Update 7-9-19 Chipped nail color. 3 weeks after appointment. Dip powder usually lasts me 5 weeks without chipping. I wont be back. I I messaged the salons on 6/17 wondering about an appointment for a dip manicure and regular pedicure. I was told I could come in 6/18 at 9:30am and I did just that. When I walk in, there was another woman checking in and within 2 minutes, 2 more women went inside. One woman had an appointment. There was only 1 nail tech at the shop who was visible. I finally started getting my nails worked on at about 9:45am. Someone else did my pedicure and I was out by 11:15am. My cuticles weren't really removed as I requested on my hands, but some were removed. My pedicure was on point and all my dead skin felt as though they were removed. After I left I noticed, I had 2 cuts on my fingers and some of the dip powder was left on my fingers. There was also polish left on my toes. But even with these little imperfections I will be back. read more

Updated review: I am completely amazed at my mani/pedicure! I'm attaching photos of them THREE WEEKS AFTER. No chips, no flaking. You can see my nails have grown but aside from that, they're perfect. I've traveled, cooked, cleaned, washed dishes and they're still looking good! I stopped in Sunday afternoon (about 3:30) for a gel mani and regular pedicure; i didn't have an appointment. I had about 6 people in front of me. The staff, which was only working with about half their crew, was very nice, periodically thanking everyone for their patience. Lila, who is very sweet, did my pedicure and did a wonderful job. Angie, equally as sweet, followed up with my manicure and did a great job. So I didn't have the best experience here. I wanted to just get a simple gel pedicure. I scheduled an appointment on there at for 10:30 am for a technician named DD. I was told when I got there that she was running late by like 15 minutes. It wasn't terrible but things happen after I waited I asked again and was told that DD doesn't do feet only nails which is fine but why let me have the option to book with her if she doesn't do feet? When I asked the lady's who worked there if there is anyone who could help me they didn't give me any directions as to who could help me or why they couldn't . I was really disappointed on the service and the lack of care for a customer. I was very willing to wait and get a pedicure but no one seemed to care so I just left . Honestly I have been coming here for a long time now and usually it's great experience because I love how they do my nails, shout to Angie for being the best nail tech! I absolutely love her work! But after today I am very disappointed and will not be going back. It makes me little sad cause it will take me a while to find a nail tech like her. Which I didn't understand if I made an appointment days ago, I least that could've happened is that if you have a schedule is to call the customer to let them know what's going on. I left Davie to hurry up to Miramar to make it to my appointment on time but there was apparently ni tech. This is the second time it happens to me. I made an appointment the second to last time and guess what? Tee did not go to work either. And the time prior to this she was 45 minutes late and I was the first appointment. I wasn't mad I waited for her and got my service, the first time she didn't show they accommodated me to someone else but this time apparently no one does dip and everyone is busy. She only offered me one option but I Personally didn't like the way that person did my nails last time so I asked if there was another option and the answer was a simple no. This is very upsetting because I get things happen with schedules, employees, customers, and etc but usually you try to solve the issue or accommodate the person to be happy or what not. I work with patients so I really do understand but the fact that didn't seem important or anything really bothers and that this is not the first time which I did make her aware. First time here, had a good experience; here are the details: Moved to the west Miramar area a few months ago, still on the hunt for my perfect nail salon. I got a last minute appointment for a dip manucure and regular pedicure, got there early, was greeted politely and informed they were running a bit behind. My regular pedicure was done by Angie, she did great, my pedi looks wonderful. No pain or problems during or after. She kept checking on me making sure everything was to my liking, and that I was comfortable throughout. For the dip manicure, I mentioned to her that my cuticles are super delicate and she made sure to not cut them, just pushed them and used a tool for kind of brushing them. They look wonderful and it's been almost 3 weeks!! She also prepped shaped my nails and did the first layer of dip. Then there was an interruption and her husband continued and completed my mani. They were both very kind and I am happy with the end result and the price. Almost 3 weeks and my mani looks like new, only difference is my nails are growing out!! It is great. I only took one star off because they don't have very many glittery colors of dip powder; I am a huge fan of glitters. they need more glitter!!! After my 4th visit to this salon, I felt it was time to leave a review. There are very few amazing nail salons but tons of average ones. Sparkle Nails is one of those very few amazing nail salons. I have to start with saying that consistency is very hard to find in a nail salon. Each visit to this nail salon has been consistent. ABOVE AND BEYOND customer service and attentiveness, overall cleanliness, wait time, and quality of the service. The salon is beautiful and clean. The wait is almost always super short and on very rare occasions did it take a bit longer. In comparison to other nail salons, the wait time was half. I have only had a not so great experience with one tech in particular who in my opinion does a sloppy/rushed job. This is my personal opinion, as on more than one occasion, my nails came out uneven, crooked and overall looked sloppy. Every other tech has done an excellent job and so I just try to avoid that specific nail tech so that I don't leave feeling unhappy with my nails. Jay is amazing with specialty nails (dip, tips, etc). The first time I tried dip I kid you not, they lasted well over a month and actually improved my natural nails underneath. The gentlemen who sits next to him is also great, very versatile. When I go for a regular mani/pedi, I love when I get taken care by Angie. She takes her time, is very thorough and really just pampers your nails. A regular mani has never lasted me so long. She's fantastic! The best part in my opinion, is their pricing. The salons I've been to in the past although were great, were very expensive. Usually you get what you pay for. But I can honestly say Sparkle is the best bang for your buck. They are so reasonable in pricing, have amazing nail techs and just have overall great service. Last time I went here I got an amazing dip from the beautiful blonde lady. I came back a few weeks later expecting the same result but it was awful. The lady that did my nails this time was the laziest tech I've ever seen. Huffing and puffing the whole time. She didn't even bother to clean around the nail. I had a date after I got my nails done and had to ask the lady at the desk to clean my nails which shouldn't have been her job. Just very dissatisfied. My pedicure was amazing and the service is usually great but I pay way too much for nails to tolerate laziness. Don't think I'd ever go back. This location is a little tricky as it is on Red Road right before the turnpike. If you blink you could miss the little plaza. I came in since I was running errands in the area and needed to get a gel manicure. I called while driving to see if I needed an appointment and they said I could come in they accepted walkins. The place looked and smelled very clean. I was instantly welcomed and got a chair with a gentleman who started my nails right away. I was impressed with the attention to detail with each step. They made sure to UV base and top coat more than once which I appreciated for a longer lasting manicure and shiny finish. The ombré was inconsistent across nails, and it was thick overall. So when my nails began to grow out, they almost looked like press on nails. They are nail technicians have amazing skill and they can do beautiful designs and so many different things with your nails. The nail technicians are also super friendly and easy to talk to you. They totally understand what I try to do with my nails every time. They also encourage me to be a little bit more creative with the dull colors that I usually pick. LOL. The facility itself is very clean and so long as you make an appointment you rarely ever have to wait more than 10 minutes. I came in to test them out with a standard manicure and I'm in shock; I have never had such a perfectly done manicure. Angie was SUPER meticulous with the cuticle cleaning portion of the manicure and was as detailed when she applied the polish. There was no need to cleanup the edges with a brush dipped in acetone and you can see in my picture that there were no polish gaps around the nails. Even while she was already applying the top coat, she would use the cuticle cutter to trim some more. I also appreciated that she used an LED lamp (the one used for gel manicures) while applying my standard polish so that my nails could dry faster. This fabulous manicure cost me only $14 and it came with great customer service, smiles from everyone who greeted me, a clean salon, and a complimentary bottle of water. The owner asked the customers how the temperature was outside and we all said "hot!!!" She then went to the kitchenette and came back with cold Kirkland water bottles and gave them out to customers. Just a fantastic experience overall. This is definitely my new nail salon! read more

They took care of me as soon as I got there. I paid $45 for a gel mani and regular pedicure. The grooming of my nails was very good but the gel manicure was not very well done. I did a very - res color and Nice gentleman did two coats on my hands. Unfortunately, they were very thin and patchy. Some nails came out darker than others. They also chipped just the next day around the corners, without very much manual labor. Unfortunately had to give 3 stars. Pedicure was great. I made an appointment on Yelp for dip powder with tips, a regular pedicure and upper lip wax after seeing the mainly positive reviews and since it's only 10-15 minutes away from me. I asked a few questions and got responded to in a timely fashion. I scheduled for 2 weeks ahead and with one day from it i expected a confirmation call yet by 8pm I got nothing. So i called to confirm and it seemed like I wasn't scheduled because whoever i spoke to asked me all over what i was getting done and my contact info. Finally the day of I'm there before 6pm on a Friday and it's not that busy. Within a few minutes I'm tended to for my pedicure by a nice lady (didn't catch her name) but she did a great job, took her time but didn't take forever, if that makes sense. I chose a nice pastel toned orange for my hands and feet for my birthday :) Then I'm taken to the manicure stations to a young guy (didn't catch his name either :( ) and he did my dip. He would put a special clear coat followed by dip 3 times to get a good solid color. It was my first time trying dip but I'll definitely do it again. The ONLY thing i didn't really like about the manicure is how my pinky nail sticks out and up. Once i washed up i went to the back to get my wax by Angela? (I think haha) she was really nice and tried to relax me and talk me through the wax because i knew it was gonna hurt hahaha. All in all i did like the shop and the techs were friendly and polite. The appointment issue wasn't that big of a deal but my point pinky nails are what's giving this review 4 stars. But I'll definitely be back!
