Horrible customer service. They just want your money. They need better people to work here and better customer service for sure. Prices are never matching, and prices are given differently by different people. They don't actually have a set price on any of the items and they give you whatever they want to price. Person who sold me a 850$ stereo said it had gps and wifi already installed.....that was all false once it was installed in my vehicle none of that was even on it! Bad service, bad prices, bad employees who just want money. And supposibly it was an additional 450$ on top of it after just for the installation in the vehicle that is ridiculous! Be aware prices are not set, every person you ask for assistance will give you a different price and if you call over the phone they will give you another price also. The manager here will not help you in anything if it wasn't what you expected and wanted as in your purchase and service from them. All they care about is your money! Will never come here ever again. So it's been about a year since I had my subs installed here. Let me just say, this is why audio shops get a bad name...places like this. I must say, Brian is the only reason I came here and the only guy with true customer service. So thank you Brian. I got two 12' Kenwood subs,two JVC speakers attached to the sub box, two amps, and a Kenwood deck for $900. Not bad, I guess. Funny thing, I was told all my stuff was top of the line. Embarrassing when you go to get the stuff uninstalled out of the car, the guy tells you everything is basic. Now the worse part, installation. I was told one of the installers is a engineer, this put me at peace, until a week later my car hood almost lit on fire, no lie. The wiring under the hood was a joke. Nothing was protected nor mounted on, just wires dangling. Anyway, the wires blew my battery and I needed a new battery and had to take my jeep into the shop. My wife was more mad than I was, but because my safety was at stake we asked them to pay for the damage and rewire everything. At first they told us,"we're not mechanics so we're not liable." Seriously? After threatening to take these guys to court they coughed up a little bit of money, a little bit, and rewired everything. The second time around everything was much better. Let me just say, don't go to this place. Go elsewhere and really do your research. When I initially went to stereozone, they seemed really helpful, I've had to return twice with the AMP not working. Turns out that after they had said it was a pinched wire and with was going to cost $30 to repair after i had purchased a 2 year warranty. I opened up the panels in my car myself, and the wire had just came unplugged, along with a subwoofer connection in the box. All this on top of a wire they previously installed the first time i went due to another FALSE diagnosis. Wont be returning, ill just have to do the repairs myself. read more

Alright so i been here a few times . These guys rip you off . Do not go there . You have been warned. He always trys to pull this off hes done it twice to me. So I had a double din stereo that i wanted installed i asked the guy wearing a hat . Hes usually the one gives the prices how much . He went out checked out my car and he said it was 4 hour job . Lmfao i knew this was bs. So he said gona cost $220 . I said look im not paying 220 i will look elsewere. Then he said ok i can do $180 i still said no. So as i walk out to my car he calls me and says I can do $120 but its finall price. I knew this guy was full of s@&%.. i said naw man . I offered him $100 and he said deal . I told him i be back im gona bring someone so i can leave my car. I never went back of course . Never ever going back . How do you go from $220 to $100 ... So as i was driving back i stop at another location and asked the guy how much . He checked it out and said $75 full installation. I was suprised . He even said gona take 1hr. People dont go there . I brought in a stereo and had these guys install it in my car but I called in beforehand and asked for a quote and some guy told me over the phone it was going to be $30. When I arrived at the place I went inside and asked one of the workers to go to my car and take a look at the stereo. Right away this guy looked at my set up and told me it was going to be $40. I told him the person I spoke with over the phone said it was going to be $30 and then he tells me I need a cage to hold my stereo in place. That was horrible communication right there. I said fine whatever and had them install it anyways. And of course like anyone else, I wanted to see them do the work and make sure they didn't F anything up. So I'm watching this dude install my radio for about 15 minutes and some white homeless looking guy wearing a Green Bay hat was sitting down eating McDonald's, didn't really know who the hell he was. As soon he was done eating, this dirty white boy prick tells me like an A hole "Hey bro, you know we have a waiting room? My guy doesn't need you bothering him". I said wtf????? I guess this dirty white boy was the manager or something. I told him I'm going to wait by the door which was 5 feet away from where I was standing in the first place. I felt like I had every right to be standing there and making sure this guy did a good job. I wasn't around any power tools or dangerous objects that could've hurt me, it was a tiny little spot close to the door and this guy couldn't even tell me politely I couldn't be standing where I was. What kind of business treats their customers like shlt? I wasn't even bothering the dude. The funny thing was I looked at the yelp reviews before I went to this place and seen some comments saying these people are unprofessional and like to yell at their customers and I experienced that personally. I strongly recommend no one to take their rides here and do business with these unprofessional people. They're liars with rude customer service and their work was terrible too. The guy left a bunch of wire clippings all over my seats and floor like a dick. There's so many other places in Whittier that can do a much better job than these guys with excellent customer service and a cheaper price. I wish I can give this place 0 stars. Very unprofessional and shady place. I called in advance to see how much time they would need to install an alarm for my car. They told me to be there two hours before closing and that would be sufficient and that's what I exactly did. They took my car to the back while the guy was selling me an alarm. Finally picked an alarm and then the guy changes his story and says he won't have enough time. Really! Isn't that why I called in advance and they assured me that they would finish today. He gave me the run around to come back in the morning , I can't pay my guys overtime , etc. Is that my problem or concern as a customer? Really! I drove in traffic to make it on time and you now say you can't do it and why take my car to the back like your fronting you can work on my car. Then the guy offers $50 if I come back but I have to put a deposit - umm no way! Do not trust them. Don't waste your time - there are plenty of other alarm shops so if you want to be cheated and upset go here if not be warned go elsewhere. This shop is a total waste of time! read more

this place is garbage! i've had sounds/tint done at several places in the past 15 years and the only reason i went here was because they are open on sundays. i had my windows tinted and days later i had bubbles and tint peeling off, they tried telling me to give it more time, so i guess a week isnt sufficient enough for it to dry. i also had them install tweeders on my car, terrible job, the tweeders kept falling off and apart, i would never reccomend this place to anyone. read more

if i could give this place a negative star i would. first off i spent 600 on a in dash touch screen radio. after paying and having it installed. i noticed the buttons on my steering wheel were not working, the manager told me oh i forgot to tell you they wouldn't work.! and that i would need to pay another 150 to make it work, so i did so...also the next day the entire radio was frozen so i went back to fix it. when i played the radio the am/fm radio did not work, it had static and was very unclear. the guy told me ohh just leave it it should go away in a day or so if it doesn't come back.. he was unable to fix it. i took it to a different radio place and when they looked at the radio they told me that stereo zone t tapped everything instead of using a harness which they should of done in the first place. also that the wiring was a fire hazard. i went back to stereo zone later and they told me they would not give me a refund and he would now use the correct wiring instead of t tapping them. one last thing i was told this radio was brand new upon looking at the receipt they put the refurbished code on it.. and when i asked about it one employee told me yes i was refurbished. after he said this the other owner told him to be quiet and that the code was added on there by "mistake". i was there with my daughter and the guys got really upset and yelled in front of her, scaring her. my radio is now messed up and is not working correctly. it is a 2012, it was not broke before they touched it. pleaseeeeee do not use these guys they are over priced and scam people. !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! read more
