I was recommended here by a coworker, since she had gotten her remote starter done here. I checked them out online, and I was able to send them a quote request. I got a response within five to ten minutes with what it would cost. I ended up making an appointment to stop by to install a remote starter and alarm in my 2010 Nissan Maxima and to tint my car, and they also gave me a package deal, which i appreciated. I did not know exactly what I was looking for, and had a lot of questions, and did not feel like i was bothering them. I got everything installed,and Its been a couple weeks now, and am very pleased with their service. I will return within the next month to add one to my wifes car as well. If I could give this place zero stars I would My dad took me here to get a remote start done on my car. This was my Christmas present from him. Our appointment was suppose to be for 3pm. We got there at 2pm to make sure they had plenty of time to install everything. The guy behind the counter (Leo) was VERY unprofessional and rude the moment we walked in the door. Leo told us the installation would take approximately two hours to do. Luckily, we took two cars so we didn't have to sit there and wait. We went and grabbed a late lunch and did some Christmas shopping. We left the shop shortly after 2pm and returned right around 5pm. We returned and noticed that my car had not even moved...We went in and Leo told us it hadn't even made it into the shop yet. So what was the point of making an appointment at 3pm? We live over an hour away and simply did not have the time to wait around for this. I have a life and we made an appointment for a reason. I can not express enough that Leo had TERRIBLE customer service and treats strangers like complete garbage. He didn't care what we had to say and he expected us to just be okay with having to wait even longer. If he was good at his job and actually cared about the customers he would have called and informed us that the installation was running behind. He then told us the installation would only take about an hour because they close at 6pm. Okayyyy so then it's going to be a quick and sloppy installation? No thanks. I'll go to Best Buy which is closer to my house and get treated WAY better than this guy treated us. I'll never recommended this place to any of my friends or family because of Leo and his lack of customer service skills. Two stars because the tinted windows I got from them were great. But they are very messy. I got 2 of my newer cars tinted there and when I got them back, there was liquid they used for the windows running down on the side of my doors that got into my speakers. The back window also had the liquid running down on each side, which left a ugly stain. I went 2 separate times thinking maybe it was just an accident or that they forgot to wipe it down but nope. The same thing happened when I went a month later. Most likely would never go there again. I'd rather pay a little more to get it done where they wouldn't ruin my car. read more

Be cautious bringing your stereo needs here I had a stereo put in and a amp and sub that i bought from them i found out i was over charged alot amp was put in horrible location and not bolted down few days later my instrument panel went out i brought it back to stereo one they denied any wrongdoing so I decided to take it to a different stereo place and they even told me that they should have done it a different way the other place I took it to told me they over charged me for the parts and labor the other place was very honest and fair with their prices and was very friendly just be careful bringing stuff there they're not accommodating from now on my business is getting taken elsewhere read more

Their service has been excellent and their fee charge very competitive. I am now on my seventh car in getting my Auto Start system installed by them. We also had our Car windows tinted by them for one of our other vehicles with fantastic results. I am very pleased with the type of Customer Service they are always giving me from the minute I walk in the door to the time they hand me my keys back to drive away, Moe has been excellent in making sure I get everything completed with professional workmanship and he makes sure I am totally satisfied with the product that I received from them. They have also been very helpful whenever I needed my remotes re-programed. Needed a remote start for my Grand daughters Ford Fiesta. Nile was very nice with his recommendations. The service was out of this world. Little did I know that this installation would be the most complicated of all cars. The installer was great. He was very knowledgeable and took his time to do it right. Terrible customer service at both stereo one locations, had my windows tinted, took 2 hours longer than they said, and my driver side window has a big rip in it due to something in the door that they said they could retint again for an extra $40, they failed to inform me that my child's car-seat was not fastened back in when they put it back into my car after the job was done which almost injured my child, they broke my mirror that I use to see my child in the backseat, purchased an extended warranty that they don't even use anymore, was told by West Allis location that they would replace equipment if I had warranty proof that day, drove home to get warranty information, come back for him to say they can't replace it that day and to come back in a couple days and IF THEY WEREN'T BUSY they would replace, then I called to set up a time to bring it in just to be told I have to go through the warranty company cause they don't even have that warranty anymore. Very rude and disrespectful people all around, always interrupted whenever I started talking, should've went to TINT BOYS! Best stereo/alarm shop in Milwaukee! I came here with my 1973 Buick Electra 225 and they where able to diagnose and fix my setup in less than an hour. I should've brought my car here to begin with, they have EXCELLENT customer service, and do the BEST work around. I would definitely recommend this place to friends or family. Initially there was a little confusion about which extra module I wanted to include for using my cell phone, but they handled everything with a great deal of care and attention to detail. I just wasted $950.00 for this place on May 2, 2017. Don't be fool with their knowledgeable about remote starter, car audio and or with navigation system, and their 25% discount. The 25% discount is just a joke to get you inside their store because the 25% was never apply to your order and service. I check around and this place Stereo1one of 84th St. was only $20 cheaper. I REGRATED THE MOST for their service and not trusting a lot of the reviews. I do check on BBB for their reputable service but it's not good enough. The owner of 84th street promise me professionally install with parts and labor for my 2008 Toyota Tundra with new Pioneer audio with navigation system and new USB adaptor but turn out to be non-professionally installed. The USB port, the owner just want to drill a hole and hot glue the USB wire that came with the unit system to the dashboard without getting a new USB adaptor. The owner said after market company don't make the USB adaptor that connect directly to the USB wire that come with the system. I told the owner how long have he been in business. I do my research first before I go to his shop and I know exactly what I want and I know after market company make parts like USB adaptor. If he couldn't, don't know or don't have the parts. Why don't the owner just let the customer know up front that he can't deliver want customer needs? I end up purchased the adaptor from another store and hand in the USB adaptor to the owner and he won't reimbursement my money either. The part cost me another $25. The owner change his subject again that the USB part was never his attention and we agree on drill the hole and hot glue to the dashboard. I told him I have your writing receipt that you will installed the adaptor so everything on my dashboard will look like the factory version. We dispute back and forth and the result is the same. I would never go to this place again and my rating for this business is FUCK YOU for ripping me off and I will contact and write to the BBB for this matters. *NOTE* I understand that a lot of customer write a good review for this business but yours or other installation was simple and don't require multifaceted parts. If you want to go cheap under a few dollars and get bad installation or you might get lucky with good installation. Go with this place or shop. If you want to get what you want and needs without any argument and the shop take responsible for their failure not deliver quality. Go to different place and spend a few more dollars is worth the investment. read more

I was given a quote of 150$ for everything I wanted done, I decided to get a new radio and was OVERCHARGED they say they have a price match the radio is $60-$80 at retailers around Walmart and best buy etc. They quoted me Another 150$ which is ridiculous, I have sent 2 emails and they haven't responded to either in a week. Had my windows tinted here in 2017 after I had my remote starter installed at the 84th street location about 8 months prior. I spent months researching who had the best products and prices and after a ton of procrastination I finally came here. Service was decent, owner was a bit rude but I chalked that up to i was a woman in a car shop & that's usually the attitude I get from men. Price was fair, $150 for the whole car (minus the windshield of course). Keep in mind my car only has 2 doors (but my windows are quite wide), a customer with a 4 door vehicle came in for tints while I was there and they were given the same price. You can decide if that's fair for yourself. They made sure to tell me the tints i chose were illegal, more to cover their own asses than anything else. They said it would take 3 hours, I chose to wait in the store, and it took maybe 2-2 1/2. It was darker than I expected & i did NOT like the way they drove my car but I left mostly satisfied. After a few months I've grew to love the darkness BUT there were small bubbles beginning to appear on my smaller driver's side window. You can also see that the rear window was not dried correctly, it is wavy when you look through it. I've never had window tints so I don't know 100% if it is something I did or not but I don't touch those window areas ever & since I drive a two door car there are never ppl in my backseat. Unfortunately, unlike my remote starter, the tints did NOT come with a warranty so if I want the problem fixed I'll have to pay to have the tints removed and redone. Pretty shitty considering its because of their crap work. They get 3 stars for the price I paid. Everywhere else quoted me $200 or more. read more

went to stereo one on 84th st in west allis definitely stay away and i mean stay away from this place unless you want to get ripped off by defective and scratched merchandise that they will not exchange or refund you on even though it clearly states that they have a 90 day warranty on their products. they are full of it and would rather argue with the customer instead of making the customer happy and giving them what they paid for which was a new product not scratched up merchandise that they never revealed until i noticed the damage in the sun after it was installed. very bad customer service and they don't give a dam about customer satisfaction and don't warranty their products like they say on their so called 90 day warranty which is b.s. unless you want to get ripped off stay away from stereo 1, just look at their ratings that will tell you the story with scamming stereo 1 ---------stay away. i'm in the process of taking legal action against this company for not validating their warranty and selling defective merchandise. they are thieves and do not care about the customer they would rather argue and ruin their reputation which as you can see by their prior rating they have already done so. again stay clear unless you want to be ripped off. zero stars as in 0 for stereo 1. read more
