The reviews were good and the pics even better so I gave the owner a call and she assisted me promptly and understood my emergency cause I was going on vacation and had a vision in mind but the hair I had originally ordered wasn't gonna make it in time. Nichelle understood and within an hour or so my problem was totally resolved. Lynisha and herself were an absolute pleasure to work with. I was able to buy hair from her that I really love. The quality is great and the hair looks beautiful. I know quality and it's been hard to come by in the Bay Area. She's definitely where you need to go! Thank you Nichelle and Lynisha for your amazing customer service.

On top of that I was never offered any water or anything after being in the shop over six hours. Who does that to their paying clients!! Spending nearly six hours on a quick weave in an uncrowded salon is completely unacceptable. The Nichelle the stylist refused my original request for hair links, claiming it wouldn't work. She then sent me to the beauty supply store next door to buy my own hair to "save money," bringing my total text costs well over $300. When I tried to show her the backup style I wanted, she ignored me, failed to communicate, and insisted that I "trust her." Nichelle even claimed I was "controlling" and "traumatized" from previous stylists, which is untrue--the only traumatizing experience was this appointment. The service was completely unprofessional. She openly insulted my hair, admitted she didn't even like her own finished work, and unprofessionally brought up my sister-in-law, whom she knows, making inappropriate comments about discussing my appointment with her. To blend the style, she cut my natural hair. The quick weave barely lasted two days before I had to peel it off because the glue seeped through the cap directly onto my natural hair. I paid $320.00 for the service alone. I went back to address this and had a constructive conversation with her assistant. I left my phone number, but it has been over a week with zero follow-up or discussion regarding a refund. Buyer beware: when you prepay here, you pay to get what the stylist wants to do, not what you requested. After reviewing her past reviews, her practices and rude behavior is consistent with my experience . Run for the hills!!!

Way past his stellar education that spans Havard and Stanford, his endless patents and inventions around cutting edge approaches to hair transplantation, is his deep love for people and a commitment to excellence. Dr. Miguel Canales, is the genius with a heart who is restoring dignity and putting back smiles on faces one hairline at a time, one beard at time and how do I know, because he did it for me. He and his amazing team should be on billboards on Times Square to let the world know, Turkey and the rest of them have got nothing on us. Thank you will never be enough Dr. Canales.

I received a hair transplant in 2024, and 2017 from this clinic. Dr Canales is a good person and…read moregenuine. He is just not very involved in the procedure. Which I didn't like. The nurses who were involved in my procedures were not focused, mingling amongst one another/distracted, it was very unprofessional. I went to one of the top surgeons in the world located in Sofia, Bulgaria Dr. Zarev for a consultation. Arguably one of the best surgeons in the world when dealing with high Norwood cases. The grafts placed in my hairline didn't look natural at all. A lot of gaps, no single grafts along the hairline, and very pluggy appearance, and large punch sizes, a lot of see through due to the grafts not being placed in an angle. Dr. Zarev told me I would be a repair case. A surgeons job to over see and Dr. Canales failed at that. In my follow ups with Dr. Canales it just seemed like he didn't care about my concerns. My growth in the crown from the transplant never grew and he kept saying they will grow and that was 2 year follow up. I have learned a lot about hair transplants in the last few years and have learned from my mistakes in terms of choosing a surgeon. Thankfully even after my botched hair transplants I have 8,800 grafts left for a lifetime with Dr. Zarev the surgeon I consulted with due to higher level of donor management and tools. This clinic is amateur in comparison to other clinics abroad and technology is behind. Do your research! Go on the hair transplant network forum and research these Dr's. The results are sub par they don't look natural and the thing with hair transplants you want them to look like nothing ever happened. And don't be fooled by Dr. Canales in studio cameras. The lighting favors the results, but when you look in close view or sunlight the results are not there. Yes you will never get your original density as you once did. But there are clinics that will mitigate the see through effect on transplants. Nurses should not be implanting grafts it should be the surgeon! They should only sort the grafts into single, doubles, and triples. The surgeon at the end should implant them. Hope this helps. A hair transplant is a really personal thing and important if you don't have a surgeon who is involved and cares they can ruin your donor.

I've opted to break my experience/review of my hair transplant procedure here down into segments…read morefor a bit of coherency The initial consult: Parsa Mohebis office was a wonderful experience. The staff was incredibly friendly on arrival, offering beverages and a book. Dr. Gujrati was right on time for our consultation and brought me into his office to explain the procedure and worked with me on how we could possibly achieve the desired look I was looking for. The consultation lasted about 45 minutes and was not rushed. Dr. Gujrati took my concerns into consideration and took an in depth, detailed approach. He analyzed my hair follicles, performed a miniaturization study, and took careful measurements to determine my face structure, and find a desired hair line that was both achievable, realistic, and what I was absolutely hoping for, possible with FUE. At this point I knew this was the right choice for me. I was sent home with a book on hair transplantation written by Dr. Mohebi, and kept in close contact by the clinic with any questions or concerns. I was also started on Oral Finasteride for 3 months to ensure I would not experience side effects prior to undergoing the surgery, as this would affect the results. Fortunately, however mild they may be, I did not experience these side effects. The Procedure: Being a medical professional myself in critical care, I often work with surgeries and am closely involved in both the procedures, and recovery process. On arrival for procedure day, I was greeted by Dr. Gujrati and his team where he explained how the procedure would be done step-by-step, which methods of mild sedation and local anesthesia would be used, when breaks would occur, and the overall plan for the day. I was then given a dose of Valium for relaxation and proceeded to the procedure room. In the procedure room, there was a time-out done before beginning to ensure everyone involved was on the same page, and we could proceed safely. Also will point out that you will be awake for the procedure, however I was not uncomfortable in any way. After checks were completed, we began. I was given regional anesthesia (the only mildly painful part of the procedure as it is a numbing injection into the scalp given via needle syringe). However, this quickly went away once the numbing effect started. Dr. Gujrati made a point to make sure that I let him and the team know if I felt any sort of pain or discomfort throughout the procedure, as they would quickly address the situation. Once it was confirmed my scalp was numb, the incisions for follicle placements were carefully made by Dr. Gujrati and donor harvesting began. I was relieved that Dr. Gujrati was very present throughout the entire 9 hour procedure, either in a hands-on manner, or by closely supervising the team of technicians (also highly skilled) who were performing the procedure. Although I was technically undergoing surgery, it almost felt like a spa day. I was comfortable, relaxed, entertainment and music was provided, as well as a delicious lunch. I even snuck in a couple of naps throughout the process. Once we were finally completely 9 hours later, the surgical sites were carefully assessed and I was provided a ride back to my hotel, and instructed to return the next morning for education on washing and post-op care for the next 10 days which were crucial for recovery. Finally, I was cleared to return home and provided with a gift bag (thanks!), as well as extensive educational material regarding what to expect throughout the entire recovery process, and how to care for my newly transplanted hair. Recovery: The recovery process went as expected based on the education provided by Dr. Gujarati and the Parsa Mohebi website. I was encouraged to call with any concerns and and even had a virtual visit roughly 10 days post op with Dr. Gujrati to assess the progress of recovery. Really it could not have been a smoother process. As I'm still technically in the recovery phase (10mo), I can just say it's going exactly how it was explained. With Dr.Gujrati having undergone a FUE procedure himself with Dr. Mohebi, it's immensely helpful as he explains his personal experiences throughout the process. Truly an expert in the field. Overall, I am EXTREMELY pleased with my experience with Parsa Mohebi Hair Restoration, and my procedure performed by Dr. Gujrati and team in the San Francisco office. I could not recommend this office enough. While I am still not 100% complete with the recovery process which may take 12-18 months, growth could stop right now and I would still be amazed with the results. Sincerely, Thank you!

Amazing quality-- not only the final product, but also my time spent in the chair…read more I had the pleasure of having my hair done by NanaEfuwa (Cynthia) today and was not disappointed. My lower back length Senegalese twists are all that I wanted-- and more. Upon arrival, we had a consultation where she took the time to patiently walk me through the process of understanding cost of the service as having three variables: 1) girth/size of braid (from micro to jumbo--she even has a standardized ring to help you decide), 2) length of the braid from the scalp (shoulder length, mid-back, etc.) and 3) density of the braids (how many braids will be placed in your hair given the other two variables). I had a LOT of questions--primarily how she would be able to make braids that were durable on hair that was recently tapered and less than an inch long in some parts. After ensuring I was happy with the intersection of what I desired and what was possible (as well as all feeling good about the price), we started the process. First, it was quite the visual experience watching her blend hair colors. From my description of "medium brown with light brown/golden tones", she took three different colors and started turning them together in her hands, personalizing my hair bundles. She said no two of her clients ever have exactly the same color-- what an unexpected delight! After having me approve of the final hair, she started braiding. I appreciate her checking in with me to ensure I was happy with a few test rows before reaching a point where it would not have been as easy to pivot (she didn't need to change anything, but I appreciate the question). I also benefitted greatly from the stillness offered in her salon. I closed my eyes and enjoyed silence (even nodded off a few times), engaged in captivating conversation, stared at degrees on the wall and wondered "What happened to Julie?"** and watched a master beautician impart her knowledge onto the next generation through apprenticeship. Overall, I am so grateful a ChatGPT prompt for "low-tension braiders in the Bay Area" displayed her shop. NanaEfuwa specializes in taking care of the scalp and your hair (as well as your entire being), so in addition to using natural products, she utilizes specific techniques to hold the braid in slight counter traction to oppose the pull generated while braiding. Between me, NanaEfuwa or Una holding the braids at various times, the entire process was at most uncomfortable-- never painful. I wanted to write this review to thank NanaEfuwa and help others to make a great decision to reach out. I have found my Bay Area Braider and maybe even a new friend! **look at the two "Board Member" signatures on the degrees and compare 2018 to 2022. Of course, you have to book a service to sit in her chair to do so. You should. :-)
